This League of Legends scene took around 3 weeks, about 4-5 hours each day when not working on my main project. It was quite a learning experience, but it was well worth it. I learned a lot about making my environments seem more realistic just by forcing myself to do this.

I’d like to see him working on a legit project
On legit project he would be oppressed by investors and higher ups. There are a lot of talented people that could do great things we never saw but unfortunately nowdays people care only about money and project won't happen unless there is sure amount of return money or the project is changed to make solely money. I know it always used to be like this but at least there was some kind of balance between money and quality.

The thing is League does not need this high level of details since the game is designed in a way that everyone with a computer can play the game. Graphics upgrade to be this detailed will narrow the game's accessibility which is counter productive!

@@TommenIBaratheon Riot Games is very appreciative of fans and their work. I've had a few Riot employees tell me what I did was amazing, so they definitely seen it and are okay with it. None of the work here is their own specifically, or to be made into a game for sale which matters the most. Even then, Riot Forge allows developers outside of Riot Games to work with them into producing a game with their IP.

Champions like, Blitzcrank, Zac, Bard, Aatrox, Aurelion Sol, Rek'Sai, Brand, Hecarim, Thresh, Maokai, Mordekaiser, Nautilus, Ornn, Rengar, Urgot, Vel'Koz, Viktor, Warwick, and Xerath.
I think those would look pretty interesting if done in a realistic design.

As someone who played league for 7 years now, this map of yours would be a blessing to have in the future. It really capture the feelings of SR..and it is breathtaking . Hopefully someone from riot will take notice on this vid, Goodluck~

Hyper realistic graphics don't sell well on top-down strategy-like games, and with spells flinging around not only it would clash with the "realism" but also make it messy to look at.

Judging by the average load time at least 95% of league players don't have the hardware required to run anything like this.

Also, league is designed to be a esport game, so no matter how great this looks, it doesnt fit the game

in my experience so far, unreal engine 4 is one of those engines which look incredibly good while at the same time very optimized and not CPU heavy

The problem of having realistic map is that the character must be realistic too. Maybe when computers is more powerful league will be like this
honestly these days almost every1 has at least gtx 960 or better that could handle those graphics and with rtx getting cheaper and more accessible i dont see why we cant have stuff like that... they could have a super low quality of this that would look similar to current map as an option for people that dont have a cheap gpu

@@izslava439 It is whole of RIOT games design direction. Look at valorant or any other game that they produced. They want to it to look more cartoonish then realistic. While the map in the video looks very cool it would serve better if it was made for DOTA 2. Dota has this more realistic feel to it, while LOL is made to be more of a cartoon/anime style game.
@@masterdrive4033 with mobas in general but specifically riot they keep everything simple so it can run on more devices without trouble. You have to remember this is a world wide game and in different countries people have different access and money to machines etc.

It's just probably because of the slow music and the slow panning of the camera but it'll change your mind when you actually put players there and add the cirrent LoL music

@@exess510 how would it make it harder to see the spells again? Since the spells with more detailed visual upgrades will be more visible
@@LupinLuu if we make the ground more complex and the spells more complex to make them dissiciable the game itself would become way harder to understand visually
