I hope all the folks complaining about the race being cut short watch this video to see how hard it was raining and the thousands of fans pouring out the exits before it was officially declared over. Thank you Eric for your dedication to the channel recording your day at the track to make a great video.
@@dirtracejunkies5957 Boo hoo hoo. Winners keep on winning and whiners always make up reasons to whine. At the championship deciding race last year, NASCAR made Elliott start dead last, while the other 3 contenders all started right at the front of the grid on a track that is historically very hard to pass. Is that how you do the "poster boy" favors? Why would they put him at a significant disadvantage in the title race, then help him win a regular season race? Get your crying towel ready, he's going to dominate and win today at Sonoma.
@@dirtracejunkies5957 My point was if he's NASCAR's Golden Boy, getting special treatment, his car would NEVER fail an inspection whether it was legal or not. The fact that it did, at such a critical moment, proves the #9 team has to earn their success fair and square.

As a road coarse fanatic, the tarp on the bridge is less for sponsorship and more to make sure they reduce gapers standing on the bridge and creating a traffic jam.

Youre show has been a huge part of my experience with Nascars "bestbseason ever " .i found show in december. As a Hendrick motorsports fan this years been great.

These race vlogs are the best
Sat in turn 1, one of the best parts of the race for me was under caution when Ricky Stenhouse was giving us a show by launching his car off the curb.

I was in Turn 1. $70 for general admission to still see the entire caracul, 19 and 20, pit stops, and watch them race up to and through turn 1 and down to 2 is probably be best value you can get in all of NASCAR. Please bring COTA back!

Overall, awesome experience you had at COTA! Lots of cool stuff to take pictures and the merchandise section is probably the best part of going to a racetrack because I can buy lots of cool diecast along with some hats or clothes! The racing has been pretty good even though it was pretty rainy.

I sat in turn one and was there all weekend.....Kyle larson got jacked had the best car all day.
Last NASCAR race I went to almost every driver it seemed like had their own hauler. That was 2008 at Talladega though. I'm sure alot has changed

I was camping there near turn 9! What a coincidence.
I was at turn 15, definitely very wet but super fun. I went to the one at TMS in October when it rained, then it rained here so I'm really praying that it DOES NOT rain at the all stars in a few weeks lol.

Stewart-Hass hauler was way down by the main grandstand. That was a long walk. But I had to get some up to date merch for the championship race.

We took the shuttle to the Turn 1 general admission area. She didn't want to walk.
I was there at the main grand stands
My Mom said that she might take me at Texas Motor Speedway for the All-Star race.
Visibility looked good enough to run the final 14 laps while they were spread out or at least waited until the pit cycle was finished... oh wait I forgot nascar has never waited for everyone to pit before throughing a caution before my bad

You sat in the right place to see the most passing, into turn 12. I don't like the slow, flat turns 13 and 14. I keep wishing they would redesign COTA to just put a fast chicane before the quad-apex 15, 16, 17, and 18 and eliminate those slow and boring tire grinders.
But now, everybody be honest: When the race cars come by on the pace lap, how many of you say to yourselves "I could beat those guys."
