New to the sport (phoenix raceway 23 , meet Logano ) and this is awesome had no idea you can get this close with pass . If you don’t mind me asking what pass is this ?
Oh heck yeah Scott that was awesome. I wish I had been with you. I'm glad you can get access to the pits like you used too. I know you had a blast. I love the looks of the cars. Trucks looks badass too. But great video man, appreciate you sharing it with us. Did you get any damaged metal, that is the question? Lol.
Hey brother- Question: Im going to COTA next week courtesy of an Xfinity Driver, are Xfinity garages separate from Cup? Ive had Hot passes to a dozen tracks, Xfinity was always separate- I dont know if my VIP ( Guess thats what they call them now) will be Xfinity only, or is it different at COTA? Thanks, buddy. GREAT video!!
How were you able to acquire the pass? I did the trackpass for COTA but it didnt wow me like i thought it was going to. Trying to see if can for the All Star Race if possible at all
Sorry for the slow reply. The trackpass is different than a VIP pass. Trackpass just gets you on the track for the pre race concert and the driver introductions. VIP pass gets you in the garage and pit area before and during the race. You usually have to get then through one of the sponsors or race teams. We got ours through Timmy Hill. You can check with The Racing Warehouse too. They sometimes have them. But they do cost a bit more than the trackpass. Ours were $550 each.
@@grassrootsnascarracing5431 no worries. So i was able to get VIP thru Nascar they sent me an invite which was awesome. But i do wanna say it depends on the track. The trackpass for texas allowed them to get in the pits and wait outside the garage. Cota only let you get on the track but had to look over wall to see the cars on pit road. But to get in the garage and get so close was amazing. An experience every fan should do at least once
@@jamesvowles1 what i did was look thru the track you want website and search for it. I enter vip in the search nd it brough up an application to fill out. It will send you an email and text few weeks prior to event to finish form to verify identity. So its an easy process if track allows it on their site and you get chosen
What they don't do is guarantee driver interaction..Drivers are very quick in and out of there cars and back to there haulers , you'll see alot of cars being pushed around .. alot ! Best time to get a selfie etc is just before qualifying. Also the race is aweful to watch from the pit area ...Anyway it's alot of tech ..pushing cars here and there and very little in the way of drivers hanging around , Just doesn't happen . I will also say you were really smart to watch the race in the grandstands !! Because it sucks watching from pit road ! I have sat in pit boxes , can't see anything really ..the stands are the best for watching a race !
Another issue right there ...Its illegal to sell any VIP passes! Whoever says its worth every penny shouldent have paid for them ...end of story .whoever aella them can be fined 25k and banned from nascar ...I never paid for a VIP or HOT pass in my life ! Wasted momey and illegal
@@grassrootsnascarracing5431 I prefer the way NASCAR was back in the 80s , 90’s and early 2000’s . Removing the 4 speed transmission , steel wheel , lug nuts and moving the number on the door for starters were terrible decisions . I am well versed on why and how this new car came about just not a fan . The cars that you own were the Best of the Best and the drivers all had personality

I tried, but everything had to go back to the manufacturer or to Goodyear. :(
Looks like a blast! -Pete

I’m going to auto club next weekend! My first race I’m looking forward to it. Any tips?
Just grandstand tickets? Definitely get an infield pre race pass if you haven't.
Trust me V.I.P. passes are well worth what I pay, Phoenix was awesome 😎
How do I get a hot pass
Can u stay in the garage/pits and not buy an actual seat in the grandstands??
That's a good question. To ve honest I don't know. I've always had a ticket as well as the VIP pass.
How do you get VIP credentials?
Have to know someone from the team or the sponsors. You can check with The Racing Warehouse and see if they have any available too.
Noah are you here ?

True. If you want to watch the race, sit in the stands.
How much are vip passes
Usually $400 to $700 each.

Wasted money? I had a blast. For the average person, a little $ is the only was we can get one.
Good video. Thanks for veryfing . Next generation cars are junk!!!!!
I wouldn't say that. Just different.
These new cars are hideously awful looking
I thought so at first too, but seeing them in person, they are great looking and are amazing machines.
