Kyle's been dragging that baggage around since he was a kid in Vegas. He discovered that wearing the black hat fits him. It's been his motivating force in every division in NASCAR. He also readily admits he's an a**hole, albeit one with 2 Cup Championships and still a realistic championship contender.
in the next episode of the ever so average life of Mark Campbell, a wild tall texas man by the name of Eric Estepp bring him to the yonder of the NASCAR all star race…
That’s Awesome Man!! Actually This Same weekend One of my Best Buddies from School went to his First Race ever that Friday Night for the trucks. He probably saw the best race of the weekend and he told me that he and his family had a blast he said he gained more of a respect for Nascar.
Nice vlog with your friend along with his first ever experience at a NASCAR race track. I’d love to do something like that in the future and tag a friend along to see a NASCAR race in person! I love the part where you signed on the finish line at Texas!
I have brought a bunch of my friends to their first Nascar race and ever time we tailgate for about 8 hours before the race and get completely sh*t face hahaha you guys need to party harder next time no one was even slurring their speech lol
it was a fun event. besides meeting you in person, the most exciting thing that happened was when Rowdy was slowing down after the start/finish line and then all of a sudden he gets run over by Chastain. that happened right in front of the Grandstand section i was sitting in. it happened so quick too. but it was a fun time.
I’ve said this before and I’ll say this again you and the other RUclipsrs are so good for the sport man, y’all bring in a lot of younger fans and the old fans love the content. I watched nascar growing up but stop after Jeff Gordon retired, I was at his last win at martinsville and lost my mind lol. But you brought me back watching nascar in 2019 and I can’t thank you enough man
Nothing like being at your first race! Mine was 2012 Brickyard 400. Really nice of you to bring your friend along for a race! Hopefully he really gets into the sport in the future.
Eric, thank you for your pure love of NASCAR racing!!! Whether in analysis, critique, opinion, or praise, it's your undying energy behind NASCAR that I as a 25 year fan of the sport most admire! The look on your face as the cars fly by reminds of myself and family everytime we go to the races... it just never gets old!
Three friends and I went to our first race here as well! We actually saw you there! We all had a blast sitting in the second row and definitely want to go again. Watching your videos of your raceday experiences got us all really excited to go and also helped us know what to expect. Thanks for the great videos man!
Know it’s a chore in itself travel, filming ect but wish more creators did more at track vlogs to show people what they’re missing out on even if it’s a few hour drive to the closest track. As always though good stuff! Experiencing a race in real life is nothing like they show on TV.
I went to bristol when I was about 11 and got pictures with the truck halurs and got to hear the cars on the track in 2011. I was a jeff gordon fan at the time . But never got to see my first nascar race ever .
My dad and I went to the first Dickies 500 race. I lived close to the speedway and went every race and my parents were in Florida and would come down for a race every couple years with me. Good memories seeing the pace car.
Brilliant way to show what a spectacle NASCAR is, even when the racing is poor. Thank-you. It will be interesting to see how that can be maintained if the series ever goes electric.
Love these Race Weekend Vlogs my dude! When an outsider at his 1st race knows that last caution was BS, that’s how you know NASCAR Officiating is Hot Caca!
I got to take my best friend to his first race. It was the 2020 Bristol All Star race. It was his first race, and my first time at Bristol cause tickets were dirt cheap. Now I've taken him to Talledega the past 3 years with hopes of going back to Bristol or go to Daytona. By the way, he is a big Denny Hamlin fan. I also took a girl to her first Nascar race at Nashville Superspeedway!
Thanks for the inside look. I work for an OEM and asked if they could take us all to the Memorial Day weekend races and I got laughed at. It’s pretty cool to get a real life view from a race!
A very cool thing to do for a friend. Over the years I've probably took a dozen or so noobs who became fans. All sports are very different in person but I don't remember much of my pro first baseball or basket ball game but I still vividly remember my first car race. The 1971 Laguna Seca Can Am which Peter Revson won in a McLaren (of course). This is so long ago they still used haybales.
Really enjoyed your video. I was there as well with my daughter and she enjoyed it as well. We sat right where the big crash with Ross Chastain going airborne happened. That was crazy.
Those new paint schemes on the old Gen cars looks weird. Especially the 38 Ford Fusion car with the Ford Mustang decals on it along with the 16 Chevy SS car with the new Next Gen paint scheme with the number slid forward.
Hey Eric, are you planning on going to the road course race in Indy on 31 July? It’s going to be my first race in person. It only took me 40 years - better late than never!
I’ve been to one race, it was at Texas Motor Speedway in about … 2008? Maybe, I think Jeff Burton won. My buddy who brought me had a cousin in the leadership of the NASCAR and we had garage passes, hot pit passes, and victory lane passes. We even got our own pic with the trophy and winning driver. Funny story on the race, I was walking up and down the pits and somehow found myself in one of the exits to the garage just as Kyle Busch had wrecked and was pissed and driving to the garage for repairs. The seas parted and he was headed straight toward me. His front left fender missed my knee by about 18 inches. I could only imagine this idiot novice getting ran over in his first race. An amazing experience for a novice. The NASCAR guys asked if I was coming back and I said “No, how could any return trip match this day?”
This was also my first time going to a live nascar race watched both the xfinity and cup series races and I personally had a great time even tho the racing wasn’t the best but was at least a little bit entertaining but overall still had a great time even tho my boy Willy b finished 2nd in the xfinity race and 11th in the all star race and I did notice you leaving the Blake Shelton concert but wasn’t able to say hi
I was about to see my first race in person and it was going to be the Coca-Cola 600 but then covid hit and I'm still waiting to see my first race. And I hope when I do I have as much fun as your Friend did.
Going to take my son here on September 23....this is our FIRST ever....is that a package extra to sign the start/finish line and walk down to the track??
Now, I’ll be one of the first to say country isn’t my favorite music, but being at the prerace concert was fun as hell. I was vibing real hard to that!
Was that a track pass or vip pass for the driver intros and pit walk? Also, did you have an opportunity for any autographs? Trying to figure out what to purchase for the auto trader 400 coming up.
Dang! They straight up took our North Carolinians All Star race from Charlotte, which was bad enough, but then they took our western skits from Tweetsie Railroad in Boone....🤦♂️
It sure look like you're having fun to me. I don't understand the criticism towards this race and it being at Texas Speedway Keep this race at that track and build it up to the can't miss crown jewel status. It already is in my opinion 👍
Bottom line is being at the race track can b fun for anyone, it takes a special interaction or experience to cement a new fan! Whichever driver stops & talks a bit & signs thier merch gains a fan and gives that fan a vested routing intrest...that's how a fan is born...my kids are 4th generation nascar fans, I expect the 5th generation at track by 2025 2030 at latest lol(my oldest 20, then 18 yr twins graduating fri...all 3 doing military service)....couldn't disagree more with shorter races/ punish core fanbase cause millinials have a tragically short attention span! That's a generational issue that won't last across generations
The fact that Mark, a complete outsider, was able to recognize how BS that last caution was is telling of how terrible NASCAR officiating really is.

"Why did they boo Kyle Busch?"
Well it really all started in Richmond...
The year is 2008…
@@nascarengagedwgagemann1169 that was 2010 mannn

I went to my first race at Kansas this year. It wasn’t as big but it was still fun
I was there too
Nice
My first race was the Roval last year,it was awesome
Baby Flames car: exists.
Mark: it looks like a Takis bag.
Eric's brain: why have I never used that one before to insult this car?
Nice vlog with your friend along with his first ever experience at a NASCAR race track. I’d love to do something like that in the future and tag a friend along to see a NASCAR race in person! I love the part where you signed on the finish line at Texas!
I got a good chuckle out of Eric saying “safety first” in victory lane given how this one ended with the window net debacle.
The fact that I saw myself twice in this video and I never saw you makes me sad. How did I not see you lol?
Mark: "why does everyone boo Kyle Busch?"
Eric: "It's a long story." 🤣😂
I feel yah Mark. I feel you.
11:26 your casual torchys in the background
You'll always remember that first race!!!! glad he enjoyed it!!!
I have brought a bunch of my friends to their first Nascar race and ever time we tailgate for about 8 hours before the race and get completely sh*t face hahaha you guys need to party harder next time no one was even slurring their speech lol
8hrs ? How bout Thursday-Monday
@@dewayneamerson1179 I'd like to party with you guys!!! soon I'm going to rent a RV and do Dega!!! I

1997 spring Talladega it was glorious
2022 Spring Richmond
Was going to be the Coca-Cola 600 for me but covid hit maby next year I will finally see a race I person

I was at the 2005 dickeys 500 too!
Thanks for all you do Eric! Go Cindric!!
Great video! Showing the inner track activities many never get to see!
The game guys who booed KB were crazy to catch the M&Ms there
Great way to get the word out about NASCAR. bring a friend whose never came. Do it all of the time at my local tracks.
Three friends and I went to our first race here as well! We actually saw you there! We all had a blast sitting in the second row and definitely want to go again. man what a great way to have your first nascar race, i hope the race goes well

Back in the day Earnhardt Sr used to have 2 to 3 merchandise trailers
I went to bristol when I was about 11 and got pictures with the truck halurs and got to hear the cars on the track in 2011. I was a jeff gordon fan at the time . But never got to see my first nascar race ever .
Mark seems like a rowdy Busch fan
Hell yeah 🤘🏻

Eric, I actually saw you a few rows down from me and I wish I could have met you. Damn you’re tall
lol i said the same thing when i saw him on the track. i was like WoW youre tall. lol.
Great Vlog
I wish I could say the same for the All Star Race

I think your friend mark might be lookin to steal a 23xi ride
So i noticed it on TV and you confirmed it. They shot the fireworks after driver intros right at those choppers😂

6:50 that aged well...
Hopefully we got a new fan. Glad he liked it. Fun video thanks!
Was very awesome of you bro and glad to have met you and seen you on pit road
Those new paint schemes on the old Gen cars looks weird. Especially the 38 Ford Fusion car with the Ford Mustang decals on it along with the 16 Chevy SS car with the new Next Gen paint scheme with the number slid forward.
I’ll be taking 2 of my friends to see their first Nascar race in Daytona in August. I imagine it will be something like this
1:29 Ford Fusion with Mustang decals
I knew this was Mark, know him from the old videos
When the crowd was booing Joey loagno and Kyle Busch I was laughing
i love that they were all booing logano and you panned to the dude and he just booed along in confusion
Take Mark to Bristol night race next to really show him what NASCAR is all about.
Hey Eric, are you planning on going to the road course race in Indy on 31 July? It’s going to be my first race in person. It only took me 40 years - better late than never!
I feel bad but happy for Mark bc he has to keep all the info that Eric gives😂
I’ve been to one race, it was at Texas Motor Speedway in about … 2008? Maybe, I think Jeff Burton won. My buddy who brought me had a cousin in the leadership of the NASCAR and we had garage passes, hot pit passes, and victory lane passes. We even got our own pic with the trophy and winning driver.

His first NASCAR race, and you brought him to Texas…maybe not the best decision.
I would like the all star race to be held at homestead Miami speedway
I was about to see my first race in person and it was going to be the Coca-Cola 600 but then covid hit and I'm still waiting to see my first race.
And I hope when I do I have as much fun as your Friend did.
My first race was kentucky 2016 it was a really fun race but also underwelming.
Going to take my son here on September 23....this is our FIRST ever....is that a package extra to sign the start/finish line and walk down to the track??
Amazing!!
Took 2 newbies to Charlotte this year.... 2 new nascar fans.
Hey I remember him back from some of the short films you made 7-8 years ago
Now, I’ll be one of the first to say country isn’t my favorite music, but being at the prerace concert was fun as hell. I was vibing real hard to that!
“GIVE ME BACK MY GUN, AND GIMME MY WINE!”
“U want this?”
“I SAID GIVE IT TO ME”
Ok *smacks bottle on head*
XD
Was that a track pass or vip pass for the driver intros and pit walk? Also, did you have an opportunity for any autographs? Trying to figure out what to purchase for the auto trader 400 coming up.
that pit road access is always nice to see, gotta do that one day .....the vlogs are always nice too, wondering what camera you use to film your vlogs
Usually use the Canon G7X Mark II
Dang! They straight up took our North Carolinians All Star race from Charlotte, which was bad enough, but then they took our western skits from Tweetsie Railroad in Boone....🤦♂️
11:00 damn Eric a little too close to home 😔😔😔
You know a noob when cars are "shuffling"
I was there that was an amazing race
I sat in the kurt car when i was there
I've never been to a race in person. How about it, Eric? Me, you, Darlington? What do you say?
Would just like to say that I answered with RYAN BLANEY to your 'Who should Mark root for?" tweet. I should have put some money down after that.....
“Why did they boo Kyle Busch?…..”
“It’s a long story….”
A very long story Eric, just show him some Busch rage clips and he’ll get it lol
Cars movie is about as accurate as Talladega nights.
It sure look like you're having fun to me. I don't understand the criticism towards this race and it being at Texas Speedway
Keep this race at that track and build it up to the can't miss crown jewel status. It already is in my opinion 👍
races should be 400 mile min at ovals
Epic vid Eric
Those EMPTY Stands.....
hey it’s mark from the old skits! i knew I recognized that face 😂
Is this teasing a new short film? 😂
sell the Out of the Groove hat! put it on your online store!
My favorite part was when he started booing Logano because everyone else was 😂
Logano is clearly a “fan favorite” lol’
I have the program car for the first ever Texas race
Hey! Early to the club!
They aren't booing Kyle Busch..... They are yelling Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuusch kinda like they did for Boog Powell on the Baltimore Orioles.
What a cutie.
Hi!
👍👍👍👍🙏
I never been to a race with so much dumb shit haha. I love going to races but for the racing
Remember when Mark drowned in a video on this channel?
Why did they boo kyle Busch?
...long story 🤣🤣
Kyle Busch didn't flip, he flopped.
Bottom line is being at the race track can b fun for anyone, it takes a special interaction or experience to cement a new fan! Everybody boo for Joey Logano intros
This race doesn’t make sense.
So was his first race also his last race because if it was me I wouldn't go another race after that sh!tshow?
Jesus Christ loves you so much that he died on the cross for you
