The excitement of the crowd in the closing laps was beautiful regardless of the stupidity that led up to it. If everything plays out fine, I should be at the 2022 Daytona 500.
I hate to see FRM sell there team but it might be the best business sense for the owner to cash out before Charter prices start to go down. Hopefully Michael Mcdowell gets a good ride

I would propose a short race on the asphalt, and a short race on the oval in the same day. Both winners make playoffs, and so does whoever has the highest average finish of the two. I know this would be difficult because of all the prep work and cameras that go into a race weekend, but fresh ideas like that will keep motorsports, specifically Nascar, going.

True fans of racing do not want to see anybody getting hurt! And are relived when a driver can get out of the car, after a bad or serious wreck. That is the difference between a true race car fan and the occasional knucklehead that watches, hoping to see a bad accident! I was never a fan of slice bread, but was glad when he was able to get out the car under his own ability.

I want this track to stay, but I also want to see IRP on the Cup schedule. I mean I know the Brickyard 400 is a crown jewel, but it's quite obvious that the splendor of said race died off after the 2008 debacle.

That diecast man. IMS having diecast of Safety Trucks is like Disney having merch diecast of Tram, Monorail, Buses etc. Same thing. I’m at a track I don’t care about talking to drivers. For me get me into the stands when gates open. All I care about.
I will say one thing about IMS, you dont know how big that track is til you go there, i thought i never get to my seat when i went for the Indy 500 this year.

Chevrolet is the official vehicle of IMS so it would make sense that Ford/Toyota would not be allowed to have displays on site.
Some of the best seats there in in the NW Vista around section 5. That's where I set for the Xfinity race on Saturday.
