Bruh same
It was a pleasure too meet you on Saturday, Yes we are "Wisconsinite's" thx for coming to my home track.
Hello fellow Kyle Busch fan that's also from Wisconsin just like me
"Wisconsinite" sounds so much better than "Delawareian" I'm jealous
Hi I was at the Nashville you are the best
Yo wait, I’m from Wisconsin
@@kyle4246 same
Did you just call Road America "Northern Wisconsin"??? Somebody need to introduce you to the magic of the northwoods.
What a flattering thumbnail…
*_Eric going om nom nom_*
True
MAXIMUM SOY
So nice to finally meet y’all! Awesome video! Always amazed at what you can do to show how awesome it is to be at the track.
You should record your experience and put it on your channel
Eric this year: *I will travel across the land*
Searching far and wide
As a wisconsin nascar fan i am happy you had a blast and enjoyed some really good wisconsin cheese 🧀 😀
“Hello and welcome to the Aflac cup series at road America today’s first ever stop motion as seen with 1990s Mark martin”
I first went to Road America in 1981 for IMSA. Fell madly in love with the place. Ended up going at least twice a year for over ten years. Love this track, my home track. NASCAR did right this time.
The back stench be perfect with the radio listening to the mrn broadcast
We sat in turns 5+6 and had two radios tuned into the Road America track radio FM station.
12:02 GENO!!!!
Yay!
He blow a tire doing burnouts. They actually had to change his tire to get him to victory lane.
Yea oof
I was right in front of u Eric at the start finish line sad I didn’t notice u. U can hear my raspy yelling lol
If I go to a road course for the first time, I'd love for it to be either Road America or Charlotte Roval. I wish I couldve caught Eric at the Nashville truck race a few weeks back
I’ve been to every cup Roval race, and it’s pretty great
8:45 Ay, it's Suarez!!!!!!!!! My favorite driver!!!!!
I was literally 5 feet away from meeting Eric at 5:57😭😭 My dad was standing right in front of him and i didnt notice😭
Racing in the woods well this is gonna be a wild ride
I saw you at the race, I absolutely loved the experience. Go Chase!
Elliott
So awesome getting to see you there! Thanks for the picture!
I loved the dead silence and then “ooOHH IT’S KYLEBUSCHANDMATTDIBENEDETTOSIBEBDJD”
Dang this track looks epic
Me watching the boys without me. 🥲
lmao
Been going to that road course for years now. Not quite as long as a different commenter... But that whole trail by the kink is still pretty new. When I first started going there it was like a hidden trail. People kept going back there and the track finally got enough funds to actually make it an official area. I've even taken my motorcycle onto the track a couple of times too. Coming out of the ceracell and into the kink at high speeds is CRAZY beautiful. There's a lot of cool stuff you can do at Road America! Plus if you like nature retreats you have Elkheart Lake, High Cliff, and Point Beach nearby. Otherwise there's always Milwaukee. Or depending on when you get to / leave WI you got Oshkosh with the largest airshow in the WORLD. EAA which attracts close to 600,000 people from around the world. Which is usually the last week of July.
Thanks for coming to Wisconsin
Wow that is really awesome and amazing you are really awesome to see Really nice and beautiful Race!!!
Thanks for the vlog, I’m going to Road America on Sunday for the race. This has been a great preview!
I setup shop just to the left of where you were standing at 4:20, but that was toward the end of qualifying. Too bad I missed ya! It was a great view though and I can’t wait to go back next year! Love that Cup racing is back here in Wisconsin.
Edit: Oh, wait! I’m right in front of the Chase Elliott hauler at 10:35 and 10:47! Jorts and red Winston hat. Was there with my fiancé and buddy haha
I walked past you so much lol. But every time I saw you, you were already talking to someone.. anyway it was a fun weekend
Great Job my friend best yet!!!!
BRO 0:45 THATS MY RED TRUCK IS MINE LOL
ok thats cool
No better way to spend the 4th than with 100,000 of your closest friends!!!
I saw you a few times but never had the courage to say hi but next time I will so see you at t
Road America next maybe?
No friggin way!! At around 3:30 when you panned over to the line for the paddock shop I was thinking hey I stood in that line. Wait. That's me with my arms crossed and orange shoe laces standing in the shuttle line!! Didn't even see y'all walking by filming
We drove in right next to you and parked a couple spots over. Hope you had a great time at The National Park of Speed.
4:08-4:12 top left of the screen me and my buddy made your video! Awesome stuff Eric! Spotted you earlier in the morning and said hi!
You do 1000x better than any of the networks showing what it’s like at a track, keep up the good work
big foot siting in Wisconsin! I saw it too lol
I enjoyed this race so much and am very happy I decided to go to this race
What he didn't explain is that Road America is a 4+ mile track on 640 acres of land. Bring a bike or rent a golf cart because it's big
Thanks for sharing the experience, it looks like a blast! Went to Watkins Glen a few times in the 2000s (was at the infamous Tony Stewart poop race), and I have to say that's probably my favorite track I've been to. Something about the road course atmosphere is just so unique and enjoyable.
It's fun seeing all these people experience Road America for the first time. They think NASCAR was a good event...wait till they go to an IMSA event
The “kink” that you were in is called Canada corner and you can actually hear paintball players when it’s quiet😂
I really hope nascar returns here, this looks like it'd make an excellent weekend vacation spot especially with a race going on
I will say this style is just like Lime Rock Park. An amazing short Road Course track. Very nice area and easy to walk around the whole facility. They host Trans Am, Pirelli World Challenge, and the IMSA Grand Prix. Love getting photography pictures from that place
Well that tradition only lasted a year, its crazy Nascar takes races away from where a crap ton of fans actually go watch the race, but then other tracks that are half empty they keep racing.
"Your just out in the woods with a bunch of your racing friends" If that is not the definition of "Me and the Boys" idk what is
Road America is below mid Wisconsin
This was the best "in person " video yet ! Really enjoyed the walk around and how close you can get to the action ! Definitely on the go to list for next year !
Don’t say it… don’t say iiiiiitt….
_Eric went _*_into the thick of it._*
gosh dang…
Thick*
ACS!
Haha at 3:46 you can hear me yell hey Eric
The corn is the main food at RA.
This is a little off topic. But isn’t it weird how Ty Norris was fired by DEI, suspended from nascar after spingate, and now is the president of a team and is buying teams. It’s crazy
I hope they keep this road course. Its the feel of old school road races.
Geno Harvey the ghost of stockmotion The ACS
Saw you guys outside the CTECH karting facility! Camped in the carousel and friends we were with were camping in a VW bus
Hey, i wanna do that. Not many people up in Canada do that though
how do we have nice cheese? happy cows
I think it's worth mentioning that for every series EXCEPT NASCAR, the garage area is completely open to anybody with a GA ticket. For Indycar, there is nothing preventing you from rubbing elbows with Jimmie Johnson, Romain Grosjean, Josef Newgarden, etc. The NASCAR event was great, but just a sliver of what RA has to offer.
I will be going to Road America for IndyCar my first time there. What kind of access will I get at when I'm at Road America?
@@brendenkennedy4304 If it stays the same as years past, you will be able to walk the paddock for all series, including IndyCar. This includes the being able to stand at the fence right behind the pit boxes and having an open view of the teams working on their cars. The RA website also has a good explanation of the access allowed for every series except NASCAR. Btw bring REALLY comfortable shoes- RA is best experienced by walking to all parts of the track, and it's the longest in the country.
I LOVE these vlog style videos from the track let’s us get to see so many things that you would never see watching on TV feels like I’m there thanks for the awesome videos!
Fun Fact: an Indycar once hit a deer there on track
As a fellow Wisconsinite, cheese curds are a must. So are mozzarella sticks.
4:27 also it’s pop ups, not awnings lol
This track is about an hour from my house but I watched on tv not knowing how much access you would be able to get around the whole venue. Now that I know it's free reign I'll for sure go next year!!! P.S. J.J. watt is from Pewaukee Wisconsin hence both Packers and Texans flags
10 more days :o
Doctor pepper is sold by restaurants that sell coke and Pepsi products
Wisconsin cheesecurds…, you are a wise man lol
I love that I got a video of Suarez and then Eric taking a video of Suarez while he got a video of him with me in it taking the video of him 😂
2:30 - Places with dedicated “Mac & Cheese” menu sections:
Kuma’s Corner in Chicago
Waterfront Hotel in Baltimore
Concession Stands at Road America
Road America isn’t close to being northern Wisconsin.
If I remember its near sheboygan right? Which is more East central Wisconsin.
Glad you had fun at my home track. I have done trackside camping in 2015 and can confirm there is nothing like it.
Hi Eric Jeff from Nazareth Pennsylvania, have you heard any rumors of Andretti motorsports getting into Xfinity /Cup cars
2:38 Eric has a stroke
I wish I lived near a track, maybe I’ll drive 7 hours to Vegas
I'm behind the shuttle sign at 3:35 lol. Right after this is when I saw them and got a picture with them
Nice
You think nascar is cool, you gotta go to the vintage races, and/or indycar races, those are cool. Sometimes there’s old nascars and a lot of beautiful classics. You also have to go to the gearbox. The other food place in the infield.
Best racetrack on the planet. Congrats on your first visit! Welcome home.
Making me want to spend the July 4th weekend at Road America next year!
You going this year? 👀
@@isaiahhiserman4732 I wish. But let’s just say gas ⛽️ prices are gonna keep that from happening.
@@RyGuy8989 ahh rip man. Biden ruins everything cx
I’m standing right in front of you during qualifying in Canada corner, road America shirt and straw boy hat lol. Then our scooters in the end
i work at a place that serves cheese curds and there freaking awesome also some day i wanna come see a race at road america and other places
9:40 Theres the Goku track
Great video. Eric
I’m not surprised at all with these fan numbers cause when only Xfinity came they had like 40-50k so you know there diehard! Wish New Hampshire had numbers like this tho
Forget cheese curds - the main thing Wisconsinites do is drink beer. ALOT of beer.
Seriously, Actual data has proven this. Wisconinites drink more per capita than any other state.
OMG 😲BRICKYARD YOUR GOING
The race looked like a circus (in a good way) and reminded me of one of the things I like about rally races - to be able explore different locations and see different angles of the race.
Personally i call turn 12 Canada corner
Every time I look at Jared I try to calculate in my head how much child support AJ Styles owes him.
I went to the Indycar race in June, the hill by Turns 6, 7, and 8 has one of the best views.
That was a good race in my opinion. I dont watch Indy a lot and I've been trying to learn more about IndyCar but that race was pretty entertaining. I kinda felt bad for the dude that lost the lead due to mechanical failures but that spiced the ending of it up
@@JacobNascar I believe that was Kevin Magnussen filling in for Rosenqvist after his Detroit crash. Was pretty entertaining to see Kmag leading just by being on a different pit strategy. I hope someone picks him up for a part time ride next year. ( he was WEC commitments so he can’t do full schedule)
@@JacobNascar Wait did you mean Newgarden? He lost on that final restart. Looked very devastating.
@@HorrorDox I believe so. I'm still learning names. I believe it was Palaou (sorry if I misspelled it) that took the lead and won.
Love your content such a great job 👏
Dang, Eric ran into a lot of NASCAR YT Legends sunday
Eric will you or any of the podcast crew be at Michigan in august?
How did you like my state
7:46 Bubba just wanted to say hi
Take a motorcycle, makes getting around the track so much easier.
Also that’s not the kink. It’s that right hander after the carousel
1:20 I was one of them
Loved this video camping sold out 2 days after tix went live last Oct truth is this track has far too many pros and cons race action viewing wise
Thanks for sharing an awesome outside view of this track.🤙
go to the Knoxville Nationals instead of Indy
Daytona is the only 4th of July race for me ...
