Why Aren't more people mentioning KUTLESS in the top comments?
I prefer Christian Rock bands that don't really make it obvious that they are in the christian rock category, it adds a little bit of surprise to it. I am a fan of three christian rock bands, the only one appearing on this list was Skillet, the other two are Nine Lashes and Ashes Remain, which I would recommend looking at.

I started listening to Christian Rock back in the 80's with Stryper. I think it was about a year ago I came across Skillet they popped up in a Pandora rock station I was listening to. So I checked them out and fell in love! recently I was looking for even more Christian rock groups that's when I found this mix.so with these bands and all the ones mentioned in the comments I have not been disappointed thanks to everyone. mow I can start putting together a new playlist in my new music app!
The guy form Korn is a Christian now! How awesome is that! He has changed his whole life and turned to God!

U2 is the best Christian rock band. They're open about their faith, sing about their faith, but don't hit you over the head with it over and over and over and over and over and over.
My list would go: 1) Skillet, 2) Seventh Day Slumber, 3) Kutless, 4) Flyleaf, 5) Decyfer Down, 6) Red, 7) Thousand Foot Krutch, 8) 12 Stones, 9) The Letter Black, 10) Since October..... (I really love the first five on my list.) ^_^
P.O.D is my only favorite christian band, besides that i listen to Five Finger Death Punch :3 thumbs up if you don't care

But I listened and I understood and I loved it. And you know what? It made me feel good. So now I'm exploring other Christian songs and bands I never thought I would listen to. I don't necessarily want to hear Godly songs. I want to hear inspirational songs. And that's what they are to me. Inspirational. And if you are Christian, I would hope you would be happy for me and others and proud of a song or band that can bring some light into peoples lives. Continued......

Skillet should be on this list easily, regardless of the position.

This is the kind of music you listen to so you can laugh and cry at the same time.
Pretty decent list. However, Red, Demon Hunter, Decyfer Down, Nine Lashes, Switchfoot, and Relient K are worth consideration.

and by the way, when i first heard about both of the bands i speak of hear actually being Christian, i couldn't believe it, especially Flyleaf. i was blown away when i found that out!

So helpful!! Ya know i've never really gotten into regular chistian music so i always would listen to explicit music with nice tunes. Then my youth group leader showed me how terrible it is... now I'm diggin this christian music and gunna try to change what listen to... THANX romelbacchusplus!!!

I talk to God but then other days I wonder what Im really talking to. I randomly came across a Christian rock band Switchfoot and just knowing that they were a Christian band led me to listen to their lyrics in a way I may not have. Continued.......

To all the people complaining about this music sounding satanic, what does it mean to sound satanic? have you heard satan's music? im curious. what is the proper way and the proper music style to glorify God? please tell me.
Its great all these bands are for Christ, but when it comes down to it, pure talent, There is no way any of these bands could amount to P.O.D. I don't listen to all these bands but I dout any of them are as blessed as P.O.D. not that it makes them better people but better at music. P.O.D. is the most underrated band in my opinion. Flyleaf is cool and pillar and skillet, thousand foot krutch are all good. But there will never be another like P.O.D.
