64 y old, this is the music I grew up listening to !! Wish I could time travel back to the 60's and 70's and live there forever !!! The music, the cars !! No crack, no fentanyl, no rampant obesity !! The best times of my life were in the 70's !!
This music will never be replaced !!!!!!!! The romance it inspires in people, doesn’t exist with the Music that is introduced to the world today!!!!!!!
Terrific harmony by sisters and what natural talent, charisma and pure innocence. Wow! That Girl Group Sound of the 1960's so extraordinary and smooth it touches my heart and spirit. It rejuvenates my soul with youthfulness.
Im 77 and never heard this before either.have heard others version of it. Its a lovely song from my youg years. Remember. Bobby. Thought he was a hunk. So handsome. He was in a few movies too. Great times.back then
My favorite version! Perhaps the beginning of dream-pop. In what correspondence I am grateful to have had with the late Julee Cruise, I should have asked her if she had ever listened to The Paris Sisters when she was younger and if they had inspired any segment of her work. I wonder since David Lynch used their music in The Return.
The Paris Sisters are sensational! So smooth, mellow and beautiful angelic voices. What a sensational blend! This has to ranked right up there with Bobby Darren, just done in a totally different style. This would have been great on the Lawrence Welk Show.
as a teen in 1960 I knew of the Paris Sisters but never heard this until a year ago. and all I can say is Priscilla's voice on this makes my knees weak. WOW
I bloody love the interview. So honest. These girls are amongst the world's best singers, and so grounded. I stalk their clips but have't seen this interview. ROFL - "Can we mention our album?" God bless them.
I am 66 and I just heard this version of this song for the first time on the oldies radio station today and came directly to my computer to find it so I could listen to it again. I like this version better than the original! It was a little tricky to find who sung it but I did. At first I thought it might be Connie Stevens. Another good oldie "cover" is called, Where the Boys Are by Karla DeVito when she appeared on the David Letterman show. Karla also sang and recorded with Meatloaf. Her best know recording with Meatloaf is "Paradise by the Dashboard Light".

Absolutely beautiful, what a gem this video is, thank you SO much for posting it! I've got the recording on my LimePopsicle channel, always loved its dream-like quality. Never thought I would get to see the Sisters perform it.
Every night I hope and pray A dream lover will come my way A girl to hold in my arms And know the magic of her charms 'Cause I want (yeah-yeah, yeah) A girl (yeah-yeah, yeah) To call (yeah-yeah, yeah) My own (yeah-yeah) I want a dream lover So I don't have to dream alone Dream lover, where are you With a love, oh, so true And the hand that I can hold To feel you near as I grow old 'Cause I want (yeah-yeah, yeah) A girl (yeah-yeah, yeah) To call (yeah-yeah, yeah) My own (yeah-yeah, yeah) I want a dream lover So I don't have to dream alone Someday, I don't know how I hope she'll hear my plea Some way, I don't know how She'll bring her love to me Dream lover, until then I'll go to sleep and dream again That's the only thing to do Till all my lover's dreams come true 'Cause I want (yeah-yeah, yeah) A girl (yeah-yeah, yeah) To call (yeah-yeah, yeah) My own (yeah-yeah, yeah) I want a dream lover So I don't have to dream alone Dream lover, until then I'll go to sleep and dream again That's the only thing to do Till all my lover's dreams come true 'Cause I want (yeah-yeah, yeah) A girl (yeah-yeah, yeah) To call (yeah-yeah, yeah) My own (yeah-yeah) I want a dream lover So I don't have to dream alone Please don't make me dream alone I beg you don't make me dream alone No, I don't wanna dream alone
Wow, whatta lovely, lovely rendition of Bobby Darrin's classic song. I simply love their voices that match their good looks. Simply beautiful! Who's the lead singer? She sounds so ANGELIC and gorgeous!!! She reminds me of the lovely Shelley Fabares.

Now that's beauty! Simplicity should be the new look! I love how they said they will wear an outfit many times over in shows. I don't think I have every seen anyone famous now a days where the same outfit even twice! So wish to live the 60's
This version was played as a continuous loop at a 1960s exhibit at the MOMA (Museum of Modern Art) in Manhattan the other day. Thought I'd check it out. I find it an interesting version but think there are more representative songs from the decade.
I hands down love this version better than Bobby Darin's.They simply make it softer and more romantic. Their voices fit the song "s words So beautifully done. I will play it over and over and still not tire of it. Now that is the test of a beautiful great song.

You're absolutely right - I'm 73, and I would go back in a heartbeat - To the innocence, safety, the music and fun and the anticipations.
Never again will we ever have sweet music like this-------gotta love it.
The song was allso in KENETH ANGER SHORT. I NEVER GOT TO SEE PRICELLA. SHE DIED IN PARIS. IN HER SLEEP. THIS WAS JUST AFTER THEY LEFT PHILL SPECTOR.
There's still music like this being made, you just won't find out about it on mainstream media
They have the pretties voices. Especially the leader.
This music will never be replaced !!!!!!!!
The romance it inspires in people, doesn’t exist with the
Music that is introduced to
the world today!!!!!!!
This is amazing. They are a great trio. I was so born in the wrong era. Making up time watching and listening now though.
Welcome to the best singers, best songs, and best musical arrangements.

The best rendition of Dream Lover
So passionable and great

My heart aches for a time I never knew, when beautiful girls exuded innocence and wholesomeness. (b. 1965)
I count myself lucky. I was born in the early 50s, so I was able to enjoy this time period of music. I continued until the end of the 70s.
@@moemcgovern7345the 70's were shit though, the innocence was already over
Absolutely a PRAY for all that enjoyed true romance and romantic music that filled our hearts and minds with Happiness 😁
I'm in ❤ 2:30
I grew up in this area. It was plain simple fun. I was proud these girls actually looked like girls and they were ladies.
That VOICE ,Those EYES and then the GENTLE hip sway......WOW.....Dream Lover!!!

Anyone besides me long for singers who sing a gentle song properly? Just a sublime and controlled sound they create. And lovely harmony.
You know l love your version too. Im 70 years old even though l had heard you. I had seen you until now your beautiful.
Beautiful voices , beautiful girls
Beautiful girls - and tattoo free to boot! What's not to like?

I’ll take any of them but the one in the middle is killing me!!
And we knew they were girls
@johnparker8588 run boy run!
I love the bow in the hair! I wore that back in the 60’s! Great time as a teenager! Seniors were great in ‘68! I’m 75 now🙃
Amazing harmony.......It's saddened me to learn of Priscilla's passing about ten years ago.
WOW! I remember watching this when I was in 6th grade. Love it! Thanks for sharing!

Wow, I never heard this version before ! I grew up in the 1980s but I always felt out of place and still do . I grew up in the wrong decade .
Another 80's teen here. Guess what, today's young people wished they grew up in the 80's. Time travel would be fun.
I grew up in the 1950s and 1960s wonderful times and wonderful music like this. Would that I could go back there. Today's world is absolutely sxxt.

Great song and very very nice. Some of the songs of this pop band give me peace of mind, just like New Age genre music.
Lovely. Thank you for posting it.
I just love these women!🔟
This is the music of my teens! I was lucky to be there at the beginning! 78 and still rocking! 😊

Beautiful voices and boy do I wish music was still like this. Shame it was not in colour
they are very beautiful, even in 1964 when i was 7 lol. Greg, Phx.
Kissable everyone of them. Love their music. This hairstyle is how my wife wore hers in 1966, no wigs just a ton of hair spray.
and you didn't divorce her?!?
I loved the smell of aqua net and perfume.
Beautiful voices they have wow
I love the one in the middle’s voice. It’s so soft.
I miss real music like this.

Beautiful girls and beautiful harmonies!
Very original~. You don't have to shout to sing a beautiful song. Reminds me Fleet woods.
I’ve never hear their version of this song! I’ve heard the male version. Love this!
Best cover of any song ever.
I watch this every late afternoon just to look at that lead singer and hear that sweet voice!
Beautiful girls...beautiful voices...no tats, no filth, just real and sweet..
Eww… weird thing to say
You don’t know what people are like just by looking at them. Most of these people that inhabit churches are vile. You must have special powers.
Gosh, this is such an absolutely beautiful rendition of this song.
BEAUTIFUL MUSIC AND GIRLS 🌹💞😘
I grew up with these ladies singing on many tv shows all through the 60s
Shivers and goose bumps...
WOW! Great singing and very charming to boot!

Every night I hope and pray
A dream lover will come my way
A girl to hold in my arms
And know the magic of her charms
'Cause I want (yeah-yeah, yeah)
A girl (yeah-yeah, yeah)
To call (yeah-yeah, yeah)
My own (yeah-yeah)
I want a dream lover
So I don't have to dream alone
Dream lover, where are you
With a love, oh, so true
And the hand that I can hold
To feel you near as I grow old
'Cause I want (yeah-yeah, yeah)
A girl (yeah-yeah, yeah)
To call (yeah-yeah, yeah)
My own (yeah-yeah, yeah)
I want a dream lover
So I don't have to dream alone
Someday, I don't know how
I hope she'll hear my plea
Some way, I don't know how
She'll bring her love to me
Dream lover, until then
I'll go to sleep and dream again
That's the only thing to do
Till all my lover's dreams come true
'Cause I want (yeah-yeah, yeah)
A girl (yeah-yeah, yeah)
To call (yeah-yeah, yeah)
My own (yeah-yeah, yeah)
I want a dream lover
So I don't have to dream alone
