Xander how do you guys not pack a chair like your big bro? I’ve always considered that a necessity on backcountry trips. They are cheap, light, pack small, and super comfortable, what am I missing?!

Spent the last few months watching all of your videos. Just watched the one where you talked about your battles with addiction. Just wanted to say I’m so DAMN proud of you man. I come from a family that battles with it and has since I was a kid. I made it out but being surrounded by it was often times just as bad. You made it through. And we are all glad you did. Keep going!!

Man… you guys inspire me. I have learned so much watching your videos. You too Jon. Keenan and Max, I haven’t seen much of their channel but have subscribed. Can’t wait to see more. I may or may not have splurged a little bit to get my own backpacking/camping starter pack going lol. But really, I have binged almost all of your videos at least once. The scenery is amazing and hope one day to be able to see it first hand. I am about 100 miles from both Lake Michigan, and Lake Erie. Thank you for creating this art. What is your take on Keenan wearing hip waders? The first time I saw Keenan and Ashley wearing them, I thought that it was genius. Then, the more I thought about it, I could see a lot of cons to the idea. My jury (in my head) is still out on how I feel about it.
His waders were perfect. I may opt for those or drysuit pants in the future

Beautiful area, even if it was overcast and rainy. I live in central Kentucky and last night, into this morning we had our first snow of the season! A little earlier than normal, but it was still awesome to see. Glad you all had lots of fun ✌️🏕
I find it amazing that you continue to be so creative with your content. I wouldn't even care if it got formulaic because I just love watching bushcraft videos. Since I had my daughter I haven't been interior camping for some time. I'm not complaining but I am living vicariously through you. One thing I find so impressive are the new tricks you unfold. The drone shots with the 4 of you canoeing looks like something out of lord of the rings. You could craft a story out of those shots. A real narrative for an adventure. Thanks for posting.

That was a lot of carrying and walking. I would have done what you did at the end. Paddling in fog taught me to always bring a compass. Running with the buds and four canoes made this flick a great watch. You work pretty hard on your camera angles, it is wonderful to see. Good video. Pax.
