My favorite parts are always when Xander cooks and enjoys his coffee + breakfast. You can see the true joy on his face. :)
Keep up the great content, love your stuff!!
Cutting the woods also.
“So it’s 10Minutes after 30minutes til 10” 😂😂
ya man 2/3rds between 9+1
@@XanderBudnick lol
First time commenting on you video. It's so relaxing. I was watching only Joe Robinet in terms of bushcraft but when I discovered yours, I now prefer your vids (both joe and you are awesome) Thanks on sharing your trip with us. ❤️🌿🌲🍃
yea. im wondering if i like to watch xander even more because he's more my age than joe
100% can agree. I tend to stick with Joe and Xander for bushcraft videos. They never disappoint!
Gotta love em
Do not miss the Northern Scavenger channel ~ especially the recent 12 or 15-part Crossing Labrador series. And also the beast brothers at Jim Baird's recent 24-part series Over the Height of Land across northern Manitoba. Brother Ted also posted his perspective. Both unreal, with awesome whitewater skills! Yeah, poor Joe is a lightweight vs these guys, but for now, I'm sure he accepts that. They are all good buddies :o) Finally, Jon who is on this trip with Xander has his Lost Lakes channel that is always great, with a lot of Lake Superior footage.
@@Wakeupmrwestt See my comment to Eugene on 3 other not-to-be-missed Ontario channels!
Ahh right on time as usual, here to save me from my insomnia
Xander, I feel like you could have a show on OLN, seriously buddy.
Your content is always very interesting, never dull.
And your drone footage is fantastic!
Thanks brother :p

I was missing some xander adventure and here we are great to see you out with jon again and brad, always enjoyable.
Run into any animals while out there?
Look forward to seeing the trip from jon's perspective.
eh we're back :D we saw some beavers but nothing large :p

Great video man! That was a trip to remember for sure. Can't wait until the next one with you boys! I'm amped.
Awesome experience man. Can't wait for the next one:)
We did a lot of white water RAFTING in Alaska. Saw a lot of canoe bones. You guys handled it just as we did 40 years ago. Of course rafting is way different and harder to steer. It’s nice to see you on an adventure with buddies! So much fun. Loved how you guys stayed together, analyzed the rapids, kept safety first. It brings back a lot of fond memories and good times.
We’ve said it before, we’ll say it again. This is the content pushing the boundaries of therapy. Amazing wholesome adventure. Please never stop.
13:04 “So it’s ten minutes after 30 minutes till ten”🤣🤣🤣
Jon seems like such a lovely guy - your adventures with him are awesome!
Your videos always look so effortless, yet I understand all the work, during and post, that goes into creating them. Really grateful for the boost to my mental health watching your adventures gives me. Thank you!
Thanks for saying that, this one took me awhile to edit :p
Adandonedwest you sound like a creator. Yet no content. Just do it. No fear just do it
My friend, as a fellow canadian from Quebec, I must say you have reingnited my passion for camping. I have planned multiple weekends in the wilderness to disconnect from everything and it's all thanks to you! Take care Xander
Hey chris I'm so glad you supported me by subscribing ❤
Another great video I love burned out forests the green growth amongst the dead also great sorce of firewood everywhere. Love those drone shots really sets mood and shows terrain.
Yay, finally one of my favorite channels uploaded new video today. Thank you for always making a great content. Your video always accompany me before i go to sleep. I love you, Xander. Stay safe & healthy. 🤍
13:04 “So it’s 10 minutes after 30 minutes to 10…” fried my brain cells
Oh, the river has passed through the place safely. Thanks for inviting me to a nice place, my friend...
Dude, big fan. Watched you and John for a while now. Really helped me emotionally and mentally get through the lockdown. I work at a hospital in supply chain. So it’s been a rough few years. I get a lot of hope and inspiration from watching you and John. So I feel the need to say thank you.
Big fan of the 3 Amigos on this video! I would love to see the 3 of you do more whitewater trips. So cool man. I love the 2 really epic shots of all three of you guys paddling alongside. It was a fun shot and looked fun. Cheers Xander, I hope you keep exploring and sharing with us all. I can’t get enough. Deano
Thanks for the message brother
Best Burnout you ever had I guess ;) Looks like another great adventure Xander. Always cool to have a crew that is ready for a bro trip. Good and fun times outdoors are the best. And best cheat what John did in the beginning, just let the river take you downstream 🤣 Stay safe out there. Cheers, M.

i cant explain it but the song/music you use in those drone shots just sort of puts me in my place. im really here im really in this world. i have so many memories and regrets and it just all flashes when that music comes on. its bitter sweet
Im impressed with the fact that you guys are very cautious and watch the river and portage when you feel its beyond your capabilities or too dangerous . Nature is unforgiving, one wrong move and its over. Be smart and come home safe so that we get to enjoy your content for years to come!!!!
That is pure content! This guy really puts a lot off effort and dedication to us! A lot of cameras, perfect shots of drones, music, food, adrenaline, I can guess how much time editing these videos. Give a loud applause for Xander. Best regards! 👏👋🇱🇹👍
Love that you guys have a safeword and that you're aware of your limitations! So important if you're gonna have a good and safe trip.
NO FREE RIDES ... i died 🤣great video, really enjoyed this one. You guys must of had a blast. Thanks for sharing this one
Best time of the week bro

I love this stuff. I am glad you continue to paddle whitewater and share it. You're an inspiration. I am no where near your level, but because of you, I am trying harder to improve my videos. Thanks Xander.
Zander wow this was exciting it felt like i was on the water fighting the rapids And I'm glad to see you eating well And your friends are ausm Having some one to go with on trips great 👍💯 video

What a ripper! Looks so cool riding the rapids!
Amazing content Xander! Very jealous of you three guys. Looks like an incredible, fun journey. Keep the vids coming. I look forward to every one
This one is another level of enjoyment. Canoeing is fun with friends. I also like the way xander cooking his food. Keep it up. Always watching...from philippines❤️❤️❤️
We watched it on our big screen, as always. Thank you for bringing us along.
Great trip, Xander! Love the camaraderie between you three. And Brad is a beast in the whitewater.
Great trip Xander. Always nice to see you with Jon. I've been hoping you guys do another 12-14 day canoe trip. This definitely wets the apatite.
Saturday Jon and I are starting a long trip :p
@@XanderBudnick awesome stoked to hear it. Hope it goes well.
Not even gonna deal with the whole apatite thing….
The triple high five at the end is so dorky, i love it, great video again thank you.
Been watching you about 2 months ago and loved it!. I hope you guys have a great day.
I need to stop coming on youtube when I am supposed to be doing work or homework. C'est la vie! It always excites me to see you, Jon and Brad on a trip together. "Rocks and Canoe are bad!" Omg that comment killed me, you guys are hysterical. I can't wait to see Jon and Brad's takes on this trip.
:D
4 days camping and boating was amazing but also very dangerous. Good luck to all of you
Always a good day when Xander uploads😎😎
I could watch this all day dude!
Damn Xan-man get some videos in the queue before you up and leave on a 2 week trip! Excited for the new videos
As a person who used to live in the PNW and now resides in Arizona, watching your video gives me a calm and reminisce about the great times I had in the PNW.
Might move back one day in the future and go back to my root of exploring the forest/environment.
I’m going through a rough time right now and this video gave me the right amount of distraction I needed, great vid as always
Just the sounds of water make it special 😎♥️
I could listen to hours of your drone shot music :) What a great trip, thanks for bringing us along.
What an beautiful, fun and exciting video:) Absolutely loved it! Ty for sharing!!
Brings tears to my eyes when I see all those trees ..but its all gonna be green again..your lucky to be I that kind of environment and have those moments..Al we have in the Netherlands is flat land ..and no wild camping...
Great video man. I myself packed up the truck last Friday and drove from Ohio to St George, Utah for some hiking. I'm not camping because I'm a rank amateur but I'm still getting some amazing photos. Thanks for being an inspiration.
so sick - Utah is beautiful
I do enjoy the drone footage inserts with the surreal music tracks playing over top. It gives us a great idea of space and how small we are compared to that area of land.
That as an awesome river- rapids trip!
So glad you took good care of John, he just got engaged.
Wouldn’t want anything to happen to him before the wedding.
This was awesome Xander! I saw jons also. What a trip this was! Loved the Kato from pink panther bit with the knife! Classic! Good stuff man! Take care. Paul
I always know it’s going to be a great drone shot when that dreamy music starts up...
Absolutely loved the video, and the music just makes it 1000 times better!
That music is great! So beautiful with the drone footage. Perfect pairing.
LOVE watching you cook awesome meals on the trail.
Amazing video , you are real warrior . The landscapes are magic. Keep going
Challenging trip with good friends. Xander being the character among them. Lol. Makes it interesting !
Very cool Xander
"So its 10 minutes after 30 minutes until 10 and we are back on the water"....LOLLL WHO TELLS TIME LIKE THIS?!! I was laughing my ass off when you said that!! Thank you for inspiring me to go camping again my friend!!
Another exciting video.
Thanks to share your adventures with us.
Love this trio, the collabs are so much fun. Looked like a great trip.
glad to hear :D
This has gotta be my new favorite Xander-ism "...its 10 min after 30min til 10..." 😆 I gotta sneak that into daily conversations.
really enjoyed this one Xander, now I'm craving bacon😮
Thank you Xander for your great videos! I often watch them just before going to bed because they have a calming effect on me.
I really enjoy the peacefulness of the scenery, the fireplace and cooking or you breaking logs apart :D Makes me reminisce about my own experiences in scandinavia and the incredible freedom I felt staying in the wilderness. Many thanks from Germany 🥨
What a show! Love watching these. My favorite outdoor channel now. Keep up the great adventuring!
Brother you nailed that drone shot at around 7:35. Thanks for another gem.
Always happy a new Xander video is up!
Just amazing, Xander!! Thank you for risking life and limbs bringing us such thrilling episodes. And, Jon, you reminded me of my experience from many, many years ago, when I took my first class of canoeing in the NAIT pool.... then our instructors hauled us out to the Wild Hay river, not too far from Jasper... I thought they were C5 rapids, for corn's sake... most likely only C1. Scared the heck outta me. Yup, a whole bunch of our canoes ended up flipping. But such fun.
Hey jan I'm so glad you supported me by subscribing ❤
Looks like an awesome trip! Rapids looked pretty knarly at some points! 🙌🏼🛶
man you motivated me to quit smoking 🍃 now i gotta focus on quitting drinking never been happier thank you for always being positive and amazing dawg 🙏
What a rush!! Perfect weather and great company 👌 I would love to try more whitewater at some point, can't wait to see it from Brad and Jon's perspective... Keep up the excellent content my friend!! See you on your next adventure. 🍻
Killer trip and the way you showed it. Its great when you and Jon do trips together and we get to see both your versions and Brad is badass. Fun video to watch. Keep em coming Xander and stay safe
Outstanding video! You have only scratched the surface of you talents. Thank you for sharing. great group of guys!
So good to watch guys. Absolutely enjoyed every minute. Liked your sound to the drone views. Dehydrated pre-cook. I learn again. 👍 cheers Xander and co. From Toowoomba. Qld Australia 🇦🇺🐞
Stumbled on your page yesterday. Love the adventures and your content is fantastic!! Thanks!
Really happy u r back missed your videos
The vibe in this video once the music and visual montage begin at 7 minutes, it really perked me up for some reason. Maybe it reminded me of the scenery here in New Jersey in the woods as a kid, but wow I really love this video
Thanx again Xander for another worthwhile video.
Love your videos! I'm always more hungry after watching them though. Also, I love the collaborations you do with John! You two make a great combo.
Great adventure!!! Nice to see you all together playing in the water!!!😃❤👍
Always a good day when xander uploads
Your videos fill me with unbelievable amounts of peace.
Thanks man keep it up don't ever change.
Good luck on your next journey.
The best channel on RUclips to relax with some good food and a beer 🍺 fantastic trip guys thanks for making such a great video 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
What a fantastic adventure Mr.Budnick. I have never heard of that river before and now it will be on my list of rivers to paddle. I love how you were able to take footage of you actually doing the rapids and it felt like I was there with you. Great job and I am very impressed if that means anything. All the best Xander and always remember to follow your nose! 🍁🦫
Thumbs up all around 👍👍👍🇺🇲🦅❤️
As a Whitewater kayaker, ya love to see it! Enjoyed every bit of it. Given the rapid size, speed isn't going to help you as much as being point strait into the rapids. Focus on just keeping the boat pointed downstream as your plan for success.
Oh and thanks for making this a longer video I look forward to seeing more of those .
I find your cinematic clips so therapeutic I could watch them all day, can’t wait for the next video!
wonderful, simply wonderful and so relaxing to watch and listen to those fly overs. Thanks 🙏
Talk about a bit of extreme canoeing dang. What a awsome time you all must of had. Very cool vids as allways.
Hi ya Xander, I love watching your channel with my sons. My favourite part was a couple of videos ago when you spoke of your Mental health issues, it gave me a chance to share mine with them........ thank you for that opportunity. Much love from Australia.
.
That's amazing my friend I'm happy to hear that you got to share that with your kids :)
LOVE the music and aerial shots
Such a lovely video. The filming, editing, camping, cooking, canoeing, was all phenomenal. I felt like I was along for the ride the whole time. Thanks for doing what you do brother
Dear Xander,
I really love your videos and wanted to give you some important infomation about cooking with aluminum foil. I see you use it very often. I just wanted to tell you that heating up your food wrapped in the foil will make some aluminum go inside your food. It's not significantly much so it's also not damaging to the body as much but still... there are studies that have reportet a high aluminum content inside the body of people with Alzheimers for example. And other concerning diseases that come with getting to much aluminum into the body.
The topic is still not that much researched but I have a great tip for you and all others that still want to enjoy simple and tasty fire baked potatoes.
Just wrap the veggies into baking paper first and then into aluminum foil as it will prevent basically any of the aluminum getting inside your potatoes. Just tried it recently and it worked great.
Like so Xander can see it :)
You're welcome. Stay healthy yallllll
What a wild ride! So great to see the 3 of you out there and Jon getting his hands dirty in the moving water more. You guys are really inspirational to just appreciate the nature we have while it's still here.
As always allowing us to enjoy nature and camping thru the screen, thanks Xander you're a legend bro 💪🏽👑
Thank you for sharing the trip with us all...like being there with our mates. Appreciate the work that goes into it all ...
Love these long trips and longer form videos. i live vicariously and enjoy while sipping a hot tea haha. Keep it up Xander!
I love, love, love the drone shots 😍
It's funny how you eat your lunch wraps with both hands like a little kid. Thanks for all the videos very high quality
