Do you think we'll see Silver at least one more time in Cobra Kai Season 6?
Yes
Without any doubt, I am certain we will see Terry Silver again. He won't give up. He will find a way.
Hopefully WAY more than once!
I hope we get a fight between the two
he needs to
Cobra Kai did an excellent job of building up Terry Silver into that final boss type feeling. Thomas Ian Griffin did an excellent job in bringing this character to a new level, especially in season 5
Agreed. His level of pettiness is incredible . Basically going on this mission because Danny Boy didn't forgive him is crazy 💀
Thomas stole the whole show he was magnificent
They did until episode 10 which was very rushed and bad writing
@@aeh2435 Agreed
Thomas Ian Griffith is a top tier actor. Almost all of his scenes in Season 5 actually made me scared of him.
Terry Silver, this man is a time bomb. On the one hand, I was impressed by him, but on the other hand, I despise him. However, you have to admit that Silver is right that Daniel has something of Cobra Kai in him.
I thought it was great that they had Daniel take Silver down with the same move that Silver mocked in KK3.
100%
To be fair Silver was exhausted and pretty badly beaten up when that crane kick finally happened. An attack that is not efficient and can be seen from a mile away WILL WORK against an opponent who is totally exhausted and badly beaten up as their reaction times will be way worse. A fresh and well rested Silver would never be beaten by a crane kick.
Kresse is great but terry is a better villain imo
I agree 110% Terry is intimidating
he is probarly to great of a villain for it to maek sense for the good guys to win over him in season 6
The show made a 2 dimensional villain, 3 dimensional. I like him a lot better in cobra Kai than kk3
Silver is the Ultimate villian
I think his ego will seek retribution but will discover his true power in the form of friendship, redemption, acceptance, forgiveness and humility
Could be!
His grave illness may be a factor in
your redemption scenario for Silver.
@@StryfetheWarriorI just realised that Terry Silver brought the 'Payne' in season 5 in the form of Kenny!
I feel a bit bad for Terry considering if it weren't for kreese bringing him back to cobra kai he would have finally turned over a new leaf
Agreed.
Terry Silver deserves the same fate as Will Munny in Clint Eastwood's UNFORGIVEN.
Honestly, after watching the video analysis of whether Silver is a psychopath, there was evidence that he wasn’t as redeemed as he pretended to be in his first episodes
@@Bubaiel Sociopaths and psychopaths are very good at manipulating people by ACTING like they are reformed and if they commit a crime that is not off the charts like murder they can easily convince a parole board to grant parole by acting "reformed". Maybe when he was meeting with those "tofu eaters" he was playing some kind of a long game and planning to cheat them out of a lot of money or something.
Random thoughts. 1) There was absolutely no reason for Terry to have been led off in handcuffs, chiefly because he didn't do anything to warrant it. 2) Bribing a referee, while unethical, isn't illegal. 3) If you go back and objectively watch the Sam/Tory fight, Tory did in fact legitimately win. The only questionable call the referee made had to do with the out of bounds point Sam scored. Any referee could have misjudged that. Honestly, that isn't really evidence of a payoff. And back to point number one, all the police really have to go on is the word of a witness ( Stingray) who admittedly lied in the first place. On the basis of that alone, Silver may have been brought in for questioning, but he wouldn't have been arrested outright. 4) Silver could rightfully bring charges against Johnny, Chozen and Mike for breaking and entering, assault, aggravated battery, etc.
Responding for the algorithm. Thanks for the comment.
Hope you are right. 👍
Good point 👍
THANK YOU, I thought I was the only one to realize there wasn't really anything Silver could be prosecuted for. Stingray destroyed his credibility as a witness by deliberately accusing the wrong person and there doesn't seem to be any evidence tying Silver to the furniture store arson. Everything else that happened at his home and his dojo would fall under self defense.
But Sam definitely hit Tory before she stepped out.
I don’t think everything will be settled at the tournament. I think it’s going to spill into the streets this time
Could be!
You mean similar to the movie Never Back Down?? Interesting.
terry be having me shook through the screen
Another detail about Terry sliver that you left out is that he always gets people when there alone. Slowly however eventually weakning them.
Very good point!
Terry Silver was such a great Villain but the problem for me was that he was such a one-sided Villain, they could have elaborated more on maybe him having a terminal illness getting him so hopped up on cocaine so there's more complexity in him but hopefully in S6 we see some of that and I'm so happy they made Kreese the main villain rather than Terry take nothing away from him, but Kreese as the main villain is much more fitting because he was the one who began cobra Kai and is just the better character overall.
Interesting.
It's interested that they poke at kreese being jonnys father.
@@atruceforbruce5388how and when do they do this?
@@josephcollins4823 it was a little bit during the Jonny back story. I'm telly you kreese is jonnys father.
@@atruceforbruce5388 Yeah absolutely not I feel like that would just ruin it
STRYFE THE WARRIOR: This a great Silver analysis. It's great having you back doing Cobra Kai video's again. You have the best analysis. You are a smart and wise person and I hope that you are having a wonderful week and that your life is filled with a lot of love and happiness. You are a great person.
Thank you so much, that means a lot!
@@StryfetheWarrior You are very welcome 😇❤
@@melissapas8474You're both very smart and very wise. You're an amazing person. Hope your week is going well.
He was great! But I feel as if his arc is over. There isn’t much more for him to do.
Edit: Nvm now that he has nothing to lose he may go full crazy mode and try to kill everyone like a monster
I just saw a leaked photo of Thomas Ian Griffith on set.
Yeah I didn't think they would write him out as of Season 5.
I liked this Terry Silver more than the OG one. This time around they really wrote villains and their motivations very well
Agreed
My guess is that Silver won't be in part 1 of S6, as Kreese/Kim will assume the role of the antagonist, but he will take his place back as the ultimate bad guy in Part 2 and 3
That'd be interesting!
he sure was right.
Julie Pierce from Next Karate Kid (Hillary Swank) has got to be fighting Kim at some point. I want the 2 top female senseis of each style to be mortal enemies and archrivals.
Why would Julie Pierce fight Kim Da Eun ?? They don't know one another at all.
Are they arch enemies now because of
a stolen boyfriend ??? 😂😅
@@chazarcola7639 There needs to be some plot device to make them fight. I cannot be the only one who wants to see that. The best female TEENS of each style (Tory and Sam) were brutal enemies so it feels obligatory for the 2 most advanced women of each style to be enemies.
@@Zurround
Would you accept TAKI TAMURAI
if Julie Pierce doesn't appear in the show ??
I think this will likely happen, too.
@@chazarcola7639 I think Daniel may ask for her help (like he did with Chozen in the s4 finale), to help him stop Cobra Kai from going global. As for Julie, I think she will be motivated by not only helping troubled teens whom have been steered down the wrong path (Tory being the best example), but to prevent Mr. Miyagi's name from becoming nothing more than a mere memory. Plus, the creators have teased that Daniel and Julie Pierce met during Mr. Miyagi's funeral so it's possible that Julie may have told Daniel her history with Mr. Miyagi which makes sense cause Miyagi considers Daniel to be the son he never had and considers Julie to be the daughter he never had.
Terry almost deleting Chozen, that was super terrifying
Agreed
They won't show Chozen without shirt much anymore as to do so they would have to pay a makeup artist to spend a few hours building a realistic looking scar. They might show his scar for dramatic effect but the character won't be shirtless much as every time he goes shirtless they will have to pay $$$$ to a makeup artist.
Cellmates can’t mess with Terry Silver in prison
Terry Silver will BUY the prison. 😂
Will silver bust any cheeks in prison
Will you do an analysis on the scroll of the dragon move we never saw? I really hope you do, I love your vids keep em coming ❤
Thank you! I think we'll see that in Season 6, personally.
Favorite character
Something I noticed in his fight with Chozen is when Silver draws that sword he could’ve cut Chozen down but he didn’t, he allowed Chozen to arm himself. Though he probably expected him to grab one of his swords not have a pair of sai on him
Silver definitely has the love for dramatics. I think even if Silver didn't wait, Chozen would know to get out of the way.
@@StryfetheWarrior oh I’m sure Chozen could but personally I think Silver wanted the fight fair. He wanted both to have weapons and to the death because the idea of Silver dying was actually part of that season originally and I think Thomas even confirmed this. This would have been a way of Silver proofing to himself he wasn’t afraid of it
@@StryfetheWarrior you can look up Terry Silvet dying and there’s part of an interview where Thomas talks about a storyline that was cut but he doesn’t specifically what because he doesn’t think the guys want him talking about it
Its the way of the warrior... Its about honor when allowing your opponent to arm himself after you challenged him
@@Arise12Tribes but a question I have is what motivated Silver to take this to the death and I think the reason is he wanted to make up for the lack of courage he showed in the same situation when he was young. When he shirked at the idea of fighting his captain to the death
He will be back for sure.
My one hope for S6 is that we get at least 1 episodes of full on coked out evil genius deceptive psycho Terry Silver as seen in KK3.
I will be rooting for Silver throughout the season. He is treated unfairly by both Kreese and Daniel. If Daniel had left Silver alone, Silver would not have bothered him and both dojos would have been able to operate in the valley. Silver tried to apologize. In my eyes, Daniel is a hypocrite who cannot stand for what his dojo stands for, therefore I am more for Silver than Daniel. Not to forget Daniel's side broke into his home and in his business he was threatened in his own home.
Thanks for the comment
Imagine walking in on Terry Silver taking a shit, and he just looks up at you and says, "The real pain is about to begin." *Immediately Rips a Fart*
💀
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Good vid
Thank you!
SHOCKING PLOT TWIST OF SEASON 6 :
What if Terry Silver turns out to be a necessary evil with whom Miyagi Fang must form an alliance to fight against the growing threat of Cobra Kai ?
1. Terry Silver can never return to Cobra Kai because John Kreese and Kim Da Eun hate him now. John hates him for throwing him in jail and Kim hates him for losing to Daniel.
2. The new Cobra Kai led by John Kreese and Kim Da Eun may increase in dangerous power with the inclusion of Hector Salazar and the emergence of Kim Sun Yung.
3. Miyagi Fang has no resource person to provide them crucial knowledge about the mysterious Kim Sun Yung. John Kreese and Terry Silver may provide that as his former karate students. But Kreese is in Cobra Kai.
Unlikely to happen, but we can only wait and see.
@@StryfetheWarrior
Repetition of karate fights and rivalries will be a major problem in season 6. Hopefully, plot twists will help the narrative flow.
So, I just recently watched the first part of season 6 Cobra Kai, and I think it set up perfectly Kenny returning to Terry for more training and transformed him into a beast of a cobra. After what was done to him, he will only believe in Terry Silver, which makes him go further into the dark side. I think Terry will start to look at Kenny as his legacy that will keep his vision of Cobra Kai alive and well long past his death.
I’m just curious about how long it takes you to do such awesome editing.
Editing is probably the easiest part for me. I can usually get through 4 - 5 mins of the final footage in about an hour (i.e., this Terry Silver vid took me maybe 3 and a half hours). But the overall video process, depending on the character's arc can easily be anywhere from a 10 - 16 hour process.
bro is literally too good at acting like a movie villain
Just like said Uncle Iroh " Perfection and Power are overrated.".
In all fairness, Terry Silver made Daniel a fair offer. Just stay out of his way. Daniel is the one who set off the trip wire by calling that lawyer referenced by Mike Barnes. All Silver wanted to do was train his students for the world stage. Johnny said to Daniel, "Robby is out of Cobra Kai and Kreese is in jail. That's two wins". Daniel has acknowledged that he needs to let the kids find their own way. However, he still refuses to let the bs rivalry stuff go. He is determined that his way is the right way and the only way to do things. It's truly Daniel who either needs some serious wake up call or a new perspective on things. John Kreese, Terry Silver, Johnny Lawrence, and Daniel Larusso all share the same blindness and weaknesses. The old days are dead and they all need to find a new way of doing things. The old ways aren't working anymore. As a matter of fact, that's what has made everything worse. Like Daniel always spouting, "Defense Only". Chozen shed a new light by telling him, "Defense takes on many forms ". Chozen has been a great mentor thus far. Hopefully adding Mike Barnes in the mix will make the Miyagi-Do students tough as nails.
Barnes will help Miyagi Fang win the Sakai Taki tournament in the trailer Barnes is there training the Miyagi Fang students
I actually talk about this in my newest Daniel video, and it's confirmed that Mike Barnes is helping to teach in my Season 6 Part 1 final trailer breakdown video.
@@StryfetheWarrior Awesome! I'm trying to keep up. I still think Silver will find a way out of jail with his connections.
I do wonder if Terry & John will eventually settle their differences similar to Johnny & Daniel. There's quite a bit that Season 6 needs to cover & I'm hoping there's enough screen time for all of it. Also nice attention to detail at 11:35. 👌
NEVER. Terry is pure evil and a major enemy of Johnny and Daniel. There is no "reconciling". Say, we still don't know who Johnny's biological father was. How ironic if it turns out to be Terry?
This is great this is gold
Thank you!
It’s rare these days that a villains arc ends perfectly. Terry is my fav character in the whole franchise, but I hope he doesn’t come back. He wasn’t meant to be a grey character and made it work brilliantly. I don’t want a redemption story.
I don't either.
Cobra Kai season 6 without Terry Silver is like Dallas season 9 without Bobby Ewing. Daniel will awaken from his sleep and find Silver in the shower. With Amanda. 😂
Silver is playing chess, while his opponents are playing checkers.. so to speak
The series writers appear
to be playing checkers as well.
@@chazarcola7639 If the show bothers you that much, don't watch it. That's what I would do.
@@StryfetheWarrior
The show doesn't bother me at all.
I do think he did actually regret what he did to Daniel all those years ago but apart of him misses the action and drama . He is worse then kreese because kreese never tried to kill anyone where terry was willing to cross that line . Kreese was never a villain in my opinion just effected by the war and I understand where he’s coming from , in a life and death situation , your not gonna show a enemy any mercy but in a tournament , you must stop .
I agree with most of what you said but remember that Kreese was willing to end Johnny and Daniel in Season 3 in "December 19th."
@@StryfetheWarrior Exactly. Any remorse Kreese has shown (like in season 2 where he apologizes to Johnny for what he did), it was all a trick to get back into his good graces. And while Terry Silver maybe had some remorse over his actions, any remorse he had is gone now due to Kreese reintroducing Cobra Kai back into his life and reminding him of who he really is inside.
He'll be back in part 2. He's more terrifying than Kreese tbh with u. It's possible that him and Kreese fight to the death.
While Kreese is still a villian, Silver is a lot worse. Silver is way more diabolical, crafty, has a lot more means, and engages in a lot more psychological abuse to boot
Agreed
@@StryfetheWarrior That means, he had those traits for a long time. You don’t go from decent to treacherous just because your war buddy and ex business partner wanted you to rejoin his dojo
Terrifyingly cool
Silver gets out and goes after Robby, who he blames for exposing him. Robby does some digging and finds out that Kreese is his grandfather, Johnny's dad, hence the same name. Gus was only his step dad. Before Robby can tell his dad this, Silver finds him, beats him up badly before Kreese comes in and saves Robby, killing Silver in the process. Then Johnny comes in, thinks it's Kreese who beat up Robby and kills him, kills his own father. Robby comes to, and Johnny ask "what it it you wanted to tell me?" Robby realizing his dad just killed his dad, Robby's grand dad, decides to keep the secret and not tell Johnny. Cut to Kreese and Silver in the afterlife and a erie voice "cobra kai never dies" The end.
Highly doubt this would happen. If Kreese was Johnny's father, you don't think Johnny's mom would mention that at some point? Kreese just HAPPENED to be his teacher?
you say johnny was the reason they didn’t enter the Sakai tekai but with all the respect, I think Johnny was going to enter had he Daniel in the 1984 tournament
Hey Stryfe, what is Terry Silver's favorite dinosaur?
A pterodactyl
"Terror tactical"
I'll show myself out 🚪 🚶♂️
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
💀
I think what was interesting was, how kreese had terry confused on what he exspected of him. I feet it lead to silvers defense.
Agreed
Silver is the Ultimate villian, and my favorite character
My favorite character is Sting Ray. I want him to have his own spinoff as a hero.
Do you think Kreese and Silver will interact in Season 6? Do you think they’ll fight?
I'd like at least one Kreese vs Silver fight.
Do you think they’ll meet?
Man its clear he gonna have a redemption arc why else would they keep him so secretive in season 6
Highly doubt it'll be a redemption arc, but we can only wait and see.
I agree. Besides, he can never go back
to Cobra Kai anymore because Kim and Kreese will never allow him to return.
@@chazarcola7639 Yeah, especially since Kreese is known for holding tremendous grudges for years so I doubt Kreese would ever allow Silver to come back, not unless he was desperate to destroy Miyagi-Do.
@@dragonfire4527 Excellent point.
Another interesting question :
How desperate is Miyagi Do to destroy Cobra Kai ?? Silver can play both sides.
At 16:40, does anyone notice how the newspaper repeats the same sentences?
Yep! I saw that
Do you think Kreese and Silver will interact in Season 6? Do you think they’ll fight?
I think Terry Silver gets out on bail and links up with Kenny. Though I don't know how they would get in the tournament...
If I met Terry I would shit myself lol even if I was a jacked up dude on Roids which I’m not he would still have a way to end me.
Guy was a bum
Oof
Good thumbnails
Thank you!
The "final boss" and most dangerous villain should have been Mike Barnes which of course would have required a very different plot. I was hoping that Mike would dominate Silver in some way and take all of the dojos from him which would have been super ironic since its what Silver did to Kreese.
It's kinda ironic because Mike is what Johnny would have been had he left the past behind him.
