It’s kinda funny how Johnny is more like the master splinter with how he has 3 students and one baby on the way it’s funny how this line up to those types Miguel/Leo Robby/Raphael Eli/Donny Now the baby I think that is funny
While he is not the best written & best developed of the teens, Miguel is mainly my favorite character because of his relatability, kind heart, fun personality, charm, charisma, & by far the best acted character of the teens. As a fighter, he's a Bad-@$$ & personally, I think he is the Best Fighter Of The Teens despite no longer being the Underdog. He's a Former Underog who remained a Bad-@$$ Top-Dog who is able to balance CK & MD in a similart fashion to Robby, whom he is equal to (I give the slight edge to Miggy) I love his relationship with Johnny as it mirrors Johnny & Kreese while also being The CK/EF interpretation/reconstruction of Daniel & Miyagi. Much like Robby, Miguel hybrids & emulates from both Daniel (personality) & Johnny (his primary parralel journey wise & in spirit). Miguel definilty works as the redeemed Johnny 2.0/Daniel In CK reconstruction. I also love his relationship with Sam (as VERY flawed as it is) as his chemistry with Sam is wholesome & at times heartfelt. They defintely pay homage to the chemistry Daniel & Ali have while being the redeemed version of Johnny & Ali when it comes to the stability of their relationship. My main negative with Miguel is that he is a bit entitiled, lacks some empathy, & hasnt taken FULL accountability in terms of his actions when it comes to his rivalry with Robby & him being stagnant in terms of growth for the last 2 recent seasons. But overall, despite the criticisms in regards to Miguels flaws is valid, he is overly villified in the most unesscary ways possible. They have 1 final season to give Miguel the most bad-@$$ way to end on in terms of his Johnny 2.0 Ex-Degenerate Arc. Hes not an irredeemable sadistic @$$hole who will never grow as many pesstmistic & terribly cynical fans on here are spewing out in their own bitter & pathetic drivel. S6 has gotta have Miguel escape Johnny's Shadow (while still keeping their relationship), have him take accountability in all his past actions, have him fight for something bigger than himself, & have him step up as a Boyfriend to Sam. Miguel's Character Arc should end with him giving it his all in the ST & taking a Honorable a loss like a True Bad-@$$ in The ST (like Vegeta in The Tournament Of Power) like a Champ while potentially winning sponsors to safeguard his future when it comes to his education & college. Miguel was always meant to be better than Johnny back in 84 & it would be a nice for him to take a Humble Loss while also gifting Robby the Trophy like Johnny did for Daniel along with supporting/rooting for his girl Sam if she wins The Female-Division as redemption for not being there for his Bae in S4. Plus, it would be super satisfying for Miguel to pay homage to Daniel in KK2 by facing a returning Hector in a real-life death battle in a similar fashion to that of Daniel VS Chozen while defending his family & loved ones in a final showdown after Robby wins The ST. I'll still very proud of my boy Miguel if he doesnt win as narratively Robby makes the most sense to win. Miguel will always be Bad-@$$ regardless. Regardless both boys (Miguel & Robby) are great characters & as people. At this point, its just a petty d\*\*k measuring contest. The criticisms regarding Miguel's lack of growth & accountability in the recent season is valid as I as a Miguel Fan has called him out in certain things & Miguel fans for being overly bias & unreasonable but some Miguel haters take it to the extreme to vilify him in the most unesscary way. Doesn't Matter If it's trolling, it still came out of bitterness & malice. There are users that claim that they don't hate Miguel & accuses his fans for not wanting him to grow or change (I do obviously) but the comments prove otherwise as they villify him disproportionately & unreasonably to the point that it feels like a hateboner. Miguel deserves to be criticized on alot of things including Johnny but villifying is petty bitterness. He does lack empathy sometimes, is a bit entitled, & is a bit protected by the writers I'll admitt but it doesn't mean he's this irredeemable malicious abuser as some says he is & neither is Johnny (though I do criticize his treatment & lack of effort when it comes to Robby). Both Miguel & Robby ain't perfect, sinless, or saints by any means. They are just flawed good kids. If people actually think Miguel is worse or irredeemable that he is like his father or the worst version of Johnny, then they are high as hell. Miguel, at his worst, is a Flawed But Honorable Anti-Hero Typical Arch-Rival like Vegeta. Miguel definitely deserves sympathy but cutting him slack for how he is with Robby & his relationship issues is on him. We can't always coddle him. In conclusion, At his best, Miguel is a flawed bad-@$$ good hearted Protagonist/Deuteragonist but he needs to step up & take more accountability because he is not innocent nor a Saint when it comes to the conflicts in this show. Its reasons like "Miguel is a Gaslighting Abuser" is why I left the subreddit. I feel bad for the amount of former redditors who joined the discord because of the amount of brain-cells they lost hearing some Bitter Fans drivel. Miguel does have alot of negative tendencies (Gaslighting included) but that should not define who he can be now. I too am a bit underwhelmed by the lack of character development from both Miguel & Johnny since S3. Hell, I even call out Miguel & Johnny fans for being heavilly bias. Robby Fans do have valid criticisms & to a degree, I understand, empathize, & respect their views. But there are some (alot) that have a severe warped view of Miguel that is often times disproportionate & unreasonable. So don't let them get to you. Let's just hope Miguel WILL develop in the final-season. To quote Daniel in S1 "He's not a Monster. He's just a guy with alot of demons". Miguel does deserve to be criticized but not overly vilified. Miguel's character arc & purpose is more about being a better man than Johnny was, him not following under the shadow/footsteps of Johnny's past behaviors as a teen, & balancing his love life with Sam in which Johnny failed with Ali. Another is Miguel also playing a major part in giving Johnny purpose & a roadmap to his redemption. Yes, Miguel & Johnny are essentially Daniel & Miyagi to one another but its very apparent that Miguel's Character Arc is being a redeemed Johnny. In terms of "Main Teen Character" Miguel, Robby, & Sam share that title equally. Miguel is merely advertised as "The One Main Teen" but its clear, he shares that with Sam & Robby as a Trio. Miguel's Character doesnt depend on a Tournament Victory either as shown in S4. Miguel has already proven that he has redeemed himself & is already a Champ by heart by beating his injuries in S3 & fighting like honorable bad-@$$ compared to 1x10 going forward. Both Miguel & Robby are equally not dependent of the tournament win & both are deserving of it. By the end of this Miguel's Real Trophy is Sam. With both boys parrelleling elements of Daniel, one of them is getting that girl at the end & the other, the final tournament trophy & I dont think 1 is getting both. Im justs saying, its more preferable for the 2 characters who emulates elements of Daniel to have a Half/Half & Win/Win for both boys. Miguel's Trophy is Sam as his Ali (something Daniel & Johnny never achieved) & Robby getting The Tournament Win as a parrelel reverse of his father & homage to Daniel. Both Different versions of the Karate-Kids getting a win. Sam is considered to be this generation's Ali & Miguel did what Daniel & Johnny couldnt as a fusion of both men.
LMAO this is the first time I've seen the Cobra Kai subreddit's vilification of Miguel be called out on another platform. I was initially intrigued by the different perspectives and rightful criticism of the fan favorites. However the rants started to drift away from criticism and became biased rants while overanalyzing negative traits and making him out to be this narcissistic gaslighter with no redemptive qualities. It's mostly Miguel but Johnny and Hawk often get the same treatment while Robby and Tory are put on pedestals ironically enough.
@@TheIndulging I love Both Miguel & Robby as characters. Im mainly Non-Bias when it comes to Miguel being my favorite character as Miguel's past actions in S1 & 2 not being addressed & the lack of accountability when it came to Miguel starting thr rivalry with Robby & escalating the school-fight. But I hate that he is overly villified & downplayed as a character as a result of this to the point that some believe him to be either a stagnant Gary-Stu or a Gaslightet who was never meant to grow as a character despite all evidence to the contrary that he has grown (though it couldve been illustrated better). Miguel has flaws that are admittedly overlooked & should be callled out upon. Miguel is a good hearted character who deserved to be criticized to a degree but not sadistically villified & same goes for Robby.
Miguel is the chosen one he learns how to improve himself to become person & he is perfect balance of Daniel true way in peace & balance also he had Johnny way aggressive & doing things his own way.
I think it would be best if Robbie wins the Sakai Takai tournament. Bc Robbie has been in Johnny's shadow, probably his whole life. Especially since he decided to learn karate, enter and failed on two occasions to win the all valley. What better way to step out of your father's shadow then to win a tournament your father never competed in?
Miguel did have the upper hand, yes, but Robby was the one left standing. Robby also defeated Miguel in the Season 4 Prom Fight. That's like saying Chozen won the fight against Silver cause he had the upper hand. Ultimately, Silver got him with a sneak attack and won.
Julie is 3 inches taller. Julie appears to me to be in much better physical condition. Sam would have to drop weight to be in Julie’s weight class thus negating her power advantage or Julie adding pounds to fight up in Sam’s weight class thus giving Julie height and power advantage. I’m going with Julie.
What really annoyed me about this season is that they completely ignored that this is a school competition. Even if one of the students loses, the other can win it for the school. So the rivalries were really forced.
I really dislike Robbie as a character and I really prefer Miguel and hope he wins the final tournament, he was the main character in the initial chapters, I hope he regains his importance
@@StryfetheWarrior sorry man, but I don't see how you can defend hawk and the other 2. Hawk purposely stood behind Kenny and they all started surrounding him. It wouldn't have ended well if Robby didn't see them

I think Miguel won't win the sekai tekai because I think he will fight something even more worth than a trophy which is his family as I have theory that his father will come back and more cause chaos for his family which will probably force Miguel out of the tournament which will probably create lessons that you can use karate for much greater things instead of winning tournament's
I need a Robby video I’m tired of the Miguel glaze… Robby is the true karate kid… the blood of Johnny Lawrence and Miyagi do at heart and the first student of Miyagi do
Both Miguel & Robby are the New KK. There is no longer "Only One" between the 2 like it was for Daniel. Miguel is a new, fresh & different KK under CK/EF while Robby is more traditional under MD as he is trained by The OG (Daniel). Both of them are like The Yin & Yang/Perfectly Balanced. Miguel is The Bad-@$$ & Robby is The Underdog.
What do you think it's in store for Miguel in Cobra Kai Season 6?

@@MoonlessSky_there’s a leak of him wearing the captain’s headband, and leading theory is that Kwon injures Robby outside the tournament, or Cobra Kai cheats to put Robby out of commission, and Miguel steps in to win the tournament for Miyagi Do
In my opinion miguel is my favorite character of all time in the show
Dear @Stryfethewarrior please can you do a video for the hawk 🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅
Dropping next Sunday (the 14th)! Keep in mind since he had a smaller role in Season 5, the video won't be long. I talked about what I could with him but I also didn't want to just stretch out for the sake of time.
In season 5 when Robby and Miguel fought to end their hate relationship
When Miguel first kicks Robby you can see Miguel felt bad about it
Please do a video for Robby next
That one drops tomorrow!
It’s kinda funny how Johnny is more like the master splinter with how he has 3 students and one baby on the way it’s funny how this line up to those types
Miguel/Leo
Robby/Raphael
Eli/Donny
Now the baby I think that is funny
the farm just stops working after a few cycles.
3:49 And people say Miguel doesn't go through any growth at all.. lmao
Just wait, I tried to cook in this video 👀
@@StryfetheWarrior As you always do!
how did bro predict 24:08
Bro called the double date
Miguel is the chosen one he learns how to improve himself to become person & he is perfect balance of Daniel true way in peace & balance also he had Johnny way aggressive & doing things his own way.
I think it would be best if Robbie wins the Sakai Takai tournament. Bc Robbie has been in Johnny's shadow, probably his whole life. Especially since he decided to learn karate, enter and failed on two occasions to win the all valley. What better way to step out of your father's shadow then to win a tournament your father never competed in?
I'm pulling for Robby too.
Robby has never won against Miguel. Including the season 2 finale fight. Miguel showed him mercy after putting him in a shoulder lock
@@StryfetheWarrior not comparable. Robby has lost 2 all valley tournaments and the last fight against Miguel. Let him win the tekkai
In season 4, Robby defeated Miguel in the prom fight
@@imtiyazyasir23 not an important fight
@@Hello_Ruby_troll_vidsit still counts as a fight between Robby and Miguel
This show better end with Miguel and Johnny getting a W
Julie is 3 inches taller. Julie appears to me to be in much better physical condition. Sam would have to drop weight to be in Julie’s weight class thus negating her power advantage or Julie adding pounds to fight up in Sam’s weight class thus giving Julie height and power advantage. I’m going with Julie.
what would have happened if carmen moved to a different place besides cali
What really annoyed me about this season is that they completely ignored that this is a school competition. Even if one of the students loses, the other can win it for the school. So the rivalries were really forced.
“Female body inspector” very interesting
I really dislike Robbie as a character and I really prefer Miguel and hope he wins the final tournament, he was the main character in the initial chapters, I hope he regains his importance
Wym robby misunderstanding kenny and hawk? Hawk purposely bumped into Kenny.
Not really. I explained this in a previous video.
@@StryfetheWarrior which video? No hope for Robby?
@@StryfetheWarrior sorry man, but I don't see how you can defend hawk and the other 2. Hawk purposely stood behind Kenny and they all started surrounding him. It wouldn't have ended well if Robby didn't see them
I hope it ends with miguel winning in the end it would be the perfect end
I think he needs more development honestly kinda think they blew it
LOL what are you even on about. He got the most development and most consistent development at that in the show.
@@hartfantom did he? What came of his karate journey and his injuries? I get what you’re saying it just feels incomplete
@ivancastro365 That's why he's the one to win this tournament. He's been up and down since season 2. He's absolutely the best character, but he was pulled back to let others be built up.
@@rawtruth78 I hope you’re right
it makes sense for the character arcs for Miguel to win
We shall see!
About that double date....
It feels like Miguel stole Daniel face. Miguel is the clone or doppelganger of Daniel. HIs mom is also similar to daniel mom.
I just want to say something all of these comments are about Miguel winning in a myagi do way but this show isn’t called myagi do it’s called cobra Kai and it all started with Johnny Lawrence and Miguel not Miguel and Daniel Larouso and just remember the leaked photo of Miguel in the og cobra Kai tournament gi and Miyagi do had its era of winning so really Miguel should win not using the crane kick something from the cobra Kai way to win like the tornado kick and that all that I want to say
Yeah for his father to come back it'd have to be a well-written arc. I could somewhat see this happening, with Johnny getting roped in.
It’s becuase of plot armor
people who think robby is a better written character than miguel dont understand writing
They're both well-written characters. People can like who they want to like.
@@StryfetheWarrior it’s not ab who u like here it’s ab who’s more well written. That’s more of an objective than a subjective thing.
Robby was boring good guy in season 1 and season 2 felt forced character but in season 4 is were i started to like him as character
i love this vid abt me i will win the seki teki mark my words
I need a Robby video I’m tired of the Miguel glaze… Robby is the true karate kid… the blood of Johnny Lawrence and Miyagi do at heart and the first student of Miyagi do
That's dropping later today!

Miguel is The Bad-@$$ & Robby is The Underdog.
he didnt give his real dad a chance
Nah, his Dad was way worse than others.
Like early Miguel better. All new characters have outshined him
Thanks for the comment
I wish Miguel tell his dad he is son
Not sure if it would've made much difference
