Go back in late May or any Sunday in June - despite daylight stupid time delaying sunrise an hour, it's still fully light by 7am for the drive up. July or August it's much hotter, and I've usually completed my rounds by no later than 10-10 : 30 am
First, don't base your opinion of this flea market on one guys visit on opening day when it was still cold and most vendors hadn't come out yet. I am there every sunday selling and today was a great day with two full fields even though we had rain this morning. You gotta get here by 8:00 to really get a good look at everything. I get there at 3:30am and drive an hour to get there so don't cry about getting there late. I start packing at 1:00 to be out of there by 2:00. Then drive the hour home. Its a great flea market worth the drive from almost anywhere. Happy hunting.
I agree. I'm not judging the flea market as a whole based on one day. I realize that it was cold and raining, which put a damper on things. I'll be sure to go back sometime this summer when the weather is better.
24:46 - What ever happened to METAL kids toy cars and trucks, like the ones at that vendor! Hey, glad to see you discovered the Trunk! I've been attending it for almost twenty years since hearing about it in 2002 or 03
Thanks for watching again! The rain was especially depressing when it started 10 minutes after driving an hour and half to get there. I'll definitely go back sometime this summer or fall when the weather is better.
I understand what you are saying, but a lot of the items don't have prices on them and I can't really pick up each item and hold the price tag close enough to the camera for it to be readable. I also think that some of the vendors would get annoyed if I did that. Thanks.
@@fleabittenadventures I hate when vendors don't price sticker their items. I tell them them this: A lot of people here - are not SUPER collectors - they are more casual buyers . Let's say the vendor has a $8.00 cat figurine with no sticker - people might think it's $50.00 or $100.00 , not $8.00 . Everyone loses.
I don't think my video was negative about the flea market itself. It was negative about the fact that it started to rain and everyone started to pack up and leave almost as soon as I got there.
@@fleabittenadventures Nothing worse than when that happens. I will not go if there is a chance of rain. Not worth the disappointment . So depressing .....
I appreciate that advice. I wish I had enough time to film everything in detail, but if I did that this would probably be a 10 hour video. I have decided I'm only going to stop and look at things that I find interesting. Thanks.

@@fleabittenadventures My rule : no go unless 0% chance of rain. I won't even go if it's a 20% chance of rain.
@@joesimon2029 What about people that make plans ahead of time and are coming from far away?
Thanks for the tour! Love old stuff! 🆕sub here thanks!
I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for watching and subscribing!

Nothing, but nothing, but NOTHING is worse than a flea market day - with a THREAT OF RAIN. Nothing ! So depressing.

My spot was the lab statue and the camera......
I didnt notice you there as I was taking a break.
Thanks for watching! Maybe I'll see you next time I'm out there, probably later this summer or fall (on a day it's not raining).
25:07 - The MAVICA camera!
I love those floppy disk Mavicas! I've got three of them. I'm looking to get one of the equally weird CD-R Mavicas! Thanks for watching!
Very sad not many people's was there.
Yeah, but it was just due to the bad weather. It'll be better next time.
Try to show the prices each thing, pleace.

Wow, the most negative review of a flea market ever. Lighten up and enjoy yourself.

You have to show things well, you pass his camara too fast and we can't appreciate things. It's advice.
