You know how guys scream at the TV during a game? As I watch you shop, you'll reach for something that doesn't appeal to me, but right next to it is something I would have been drawn to, and I want to scream at the screen, "No, the one next to it. Pick it up! No, not that one!" It's a good thing I watch these videos when I'm alone! HA! I live so far away that it isn't like I can drive there and grab it myself! I think it makes these videos that much more fun!

The Sled that had the Greenery on it would be a PERFECT DISPLAY for Christmas!!!! We have one in our Garage. I think I might be getting it out just for that!!!! And yeah Kelly, I grew up with a phone like that too. Couldn't talk PRIVATELY TO SAVE YOUR LIFE, THAT DAGGONE CORD WOULDN'T MAKE IT TO THE HALLWAY!!!!
I had a yellow wall phone and ditto-- I think I stretched the cord way out! No one today would want to be strapped to the wall and try to talk and cook at the same time!

I think that dress form was made from upholstery springs! I have an idea for some horse decor, but I have to try to make it myself first.
Watching your videos makes me want to re do my entire house!! I may as well use my easy bake oven as well. lol. That’s so cool that you mentioned the ceramic Santa. I’m a potter and I also pour molds, slipcasting. I worked for a cement statuary place and had to re do all of the eyes on everything they us when I started working there. Lol. I don’t know how you got that cement pedestal to the car!! Debbie’s pile of stach was incredible!!!! Just an fyi. For a Click in our bedroom we bought one that shines the time onto the ceiling!!! It’s the best thing EVER!!!

I’m with you Debbie , 90 percent of my home is from market place, goodwills, thrift stores and antiques stores when they have sales. I get so many compliments on my items and decorating!

I inherited my grandmother's house and all of her stuff when she passed, and I have that same phone in the kitchen that she used. It is red.

Wish I could come up and visit your shop and the area where y’all live!! We just don’t have the same flea market & thrift stores like y’all! I’m in Florida! I used to have the most awesome second hand store called From Trash to Treasure! It did fantastic but got divorced, moved away, life happens.

Debbie…..my friend lives on Fl. the land of furniture reselling. We always talked about getting rid of everything we owned except a mattress. Then we would ho out and buy everything used for our home. I have never done this but I come from two generations of antiquers. Boy did I ever catch the disease, the used stuff disease. Almost everything I own is inherited or collected. A lot is repurposed. I love it. It is ME! Thank you two girls for great content!

The Metal owl sitting on the long bench behind the pumpkins and runner was hilarious! I probably wouldn’t keep the saying (even though funny), paint over it with black and decoupage a beautiful landscape pic there or just add a clothespin and use as recipe holder or photos. Too cute!

Rotary phone. I remember using that kind of phone at MY house. Grandma had a wooden board/box with a bell shaped receiver attached to the device with a wire cord and a device to speak into. There was one like that at our house when I was pre-school. Had a rotary up until they didn't work anymore with my house wiring. In case you're interested, I do NOT have a cell phone.

The old trashcan I have one in my kitchen I found a plant stand at Home Depot is on wheels and has like an edge for the plant to stay in so the old trashcan fits in there perfectly and a 13 gallon bag also fits perfectly so if I am doing something where I need to move the trashcan around it’s on wheels and it goes everywhere I need it needed to go

Have you visited “Our Little Shop” on Mound? It’s a great vintage store with tons of cool stuff. The next time you are shopping at one of the Salvation Army stores in Utica Or Shelby or Rochester, you should stop by. It’s amazing! Mound Road just north of Hall Road.

I miss being able to decorate. I haven't been able to since I lost everything. Maybe someday though. I still love to make and design stuff, even if it's not for myself.
I just watched Garden Answer’s video where her mom and her went antiquing and they discovered the knife rests for the first time also! I wouldn’t have known what they were either!
I love the way you give us thrifted style ideas - especially when we can see how Deb styles her home. I work for a gift/antique store in Canada and my boss buys in those Goddess heads (name on the invoice) Unfortunately, our supplier buys them from a Chinese maker. I think we pay $18 Cdn retail for them.
