We hit several different Goodwills while on vacation throughout the states and we even stumble upon a great store where we find even more gems to purchase and take home! So, if you're ready for an adventure....then let's go ahead and do this!!!

That meadow picture reminds me of a story my dad told me of him sitting in a tree like that when he was around 10 and a man appeared walking across the meadow with a long white flowing robe then he just vanished before his eyes. He swears he was an angel. He remembed that his whole life till his death.
Yeah, I'm with you. What is it about $4.98?! But that Goodwill looks like a REGULAR STORE!!!! EVERYTHING is in order, instead of THROWN AROUND EVERYWHERE!!!! You and your HONEY were in my State of Kentucky. And I've ALWAYS said, "Peddlers Malls and "Estate Sales" are sooooooo MUCH BETTER than our Goodwills"!!!! Glad you found that out Kelly, and realized we weren't exagerating!!!! Also, WELCOME HOME!!!!

I had to comment on this video since you were in my neck of the woods in Richmond Kentucky. As a matter of fact I was at that Goodwill yesterday. The peddlers mall is also good but we usually have to find smaller venues to thrift at or go to Lexington. I absolutely love watching your videos! You guys have inspired me. I have my own booth in the country South of Richmond right next to Renfro Valley. It’s called Southern Sisters, a family venture that we craft and thrift items to share with others. If you are ever back through it’s called Valley Treasures and it’s just a minute off I-75 too.
Omg Kelly when you said the chickens were discussing the price of the cake stand I laughed so hard 🤣 you make me smile girl btw it's Traci from Vassar I brought you a box and some fruit for mom ..I found 2 boxes of sugary fruit at the mission store here in vassar for a 1$ I'll bring them to your next event! You really need to come to this store here the prices are crazy good I wish I could show you the frame I picked up for 5$ with monet art work 😮 I am glad you got away for a bit! Glad you had a great vacation! Your husband is such a good sport to sit in the car while you were working the shops ! The prices @ most thrift stores have definitely gone up but what hasn't? Thanks for sharing your adventure with us & you were missed ! Hopefully you don't have to wait another 10 years to do it again . Xox
That pillow with the yellow stripes was probably an easy fix. With that type of woven fabric you can usually easily push any picks or knots back through to the other side. I use something like a tiny crochet hook or take a large safety pin, open it up and bend it out and use the sharp end to push the knot back through to the other side. I've had many woven blankets and sweaters that I have fixed this way. I'm in Kentucky but, haven't been to Richmond in quite some time. There is a peddlers mall in Lexington that they recently remodeled and it's quite large and two stories. You should stop at that one next time you're going this route. And there are 7 goodwill stores in Lexington as well. Thanks for taking us along. Always enjoy your videos.

Goodwill prices have gotten RIDICULOUS. I love to thrift, but I don’t go as often now. I went today, 2/1 thrifting at CASA, prices sent me right back out the door and headed to the beach.. St. Petersburg, FL

LOVED seeing that you were in Kentucky the Peddler's malls are everywhere here more than was on your list and most are great. We do have a Goodwill outlet in Louisville that's great but the others are a little on the high side.

You were so close to where I live, I'm in Warner Robins, GA, before Macon. There are several places to go there on Watson Blvd, an antique store , a thrift store, and further up the road a Good Will. All on Watson Blvd, maybe next time on another trip you take.🙂

Dixie Belle Paints are made in the south..new port richey, fla...of course they have them in KY! Name kinda gives it away😅. I wish you could've looked up thrift stores in no. Ga. There's alot of Goodwills but so many regular thrift stores. Come back ya hear!

I live 30 minutes from Richmond, KY so it was fun watching you shop at stores I go to frequently. That goodwill is hit or miss. I did find a sterling silver compote for $2 once. Goodwills in KY aren’t the best. But the Peddler’s Malls are amazing. ❤❤

I live in central fla(Orlando area) and I am constantly amazed at the thrifting prices on the videos I watch. We most definitely don’t get those good prices here in fl.
I just did a instagram post about Goodwill's ridiculous prices. And I do not like all of the high priced new items that are seemingly taking over the stores. Thrifting is a treasure hunt.
