Well said, @greenpostdoc! :) As @Paultization said, Ellen is a very genuine person, not just out there for more fame and fortune, like some are... She uses her status to bring attention to an issue, not herself, and that is fantastic! I
Okay, it kind may be difficult to understand why she felt offended, but imagine that all the things that you do or say, no matter what, interviewers just don't care whatever you say, any word, they just want to get to you just because your a public celebrity. I don't think there's a person who wouldn't get offended by doing that. Every single person would automatically feel upset if it'd come to their minds that maybe the interviewer never cared of your purpose. If you think you wouldn't, it is because you are not famous, but if we were famous, at first it'd be really fun and precious, damn *-*, but later you would want to talk, and interviewers to listen you.
Nicely done Ellen. Spoken with a passion and a genuineness that are the hallmarks of a truly great leader - which it seems you are naturally evolving into. Hopefully you don't find this prospect daunting. You're clearly learning your lessons well and this planet and all living things on it are reaping the benefits of your efforts (as well as the efforts of ALL contributors to the environmental movement). For facilitating a greater good - and fighting the "good fight" - we thank you.
Good thing she really seems to try to use her own fame to make these problems known instead of making herself more famous by showing that she cares for the world too.
You can clearly hear some off-camera whispering going on at that point and it's obvious this is the case. As M. Sorge said, it's really just a safety precaution.
Yes, I assume it would be because Ellen's agent or whatever (off to the side), said no to openly saying something like that because she doesn't know what it is... It only makes sense for her not to say she supports something (or make it sound like she does) just because someone asked her to. You never know what sort of consequences that can lead to, or public perception, if you don't know what something is or what it believes in, even though it may seem safe enough to.
because she felt like rthe interview wasn't because of the matter that they were talking about, but because she is who she is. It was an interview because she was ellen page, and not because it was ellen page that cared about the enviroment. Thats the way i took it anyway
Her voice always sounds like it's gonna crack lol.
"ooouuu.. errrr... eerruughh" lol. Cute.

Julius Thomasson I think it sounds kinky ;)

Yup...about that
I kinda wanna go back to these old times just so I can appreciate my innocence and naivety.
@@grey6545 ohh yes totally agree
Так почему Русский коммент не в топе?
It seems she has lost a lot of weight :o
Oh god yeah
потому что не у всех есть ps3)
I dont understand .. why did she felt offended?

Julius Thomasson I got the exact same impression I think its the right one :D
I guess she doesn't know "Wams" and isn't willing to support something she maybe doesn't approve.
Cobb was she even allowed to say what the interviewer wanted her to say?
*sigh* Being an actor does *not* give you a background in science.
as an actor shes not bery poised
Hope she won't turn into an awfull hippie like Mia Farrow
awful hippie or someone who is realistic with the worlds problems
Another POOR acting performance from Ellen Page!!!!
mnauto455 you’re joking right?
LOL
