Exclusive Interview: Ellen Page on red carpet at Beyond Two Souls premiere

It's a confusing scenario, even for the most passionate of gamers. Hollywood starlet Ellen Page is starring in a computer game, called Beyond: Two Souls. She has walked the red carpet at the Paris premiere, and explained that we shouldn't be confused by two genres merging.
Ellen says the project is exciting, adding "I think it's about finding, utilising a newer medium to tell a story, and taking the cinematic scope of narrative and incorporating it into interactive game playing".
Beyond: Two Souls is released October 11th for Playstation 3. Report by Louise Hulland.

I really enjoyed playing "Beyond: Two Souls". Ellen Page delivered as both an Actress & as a playable character. I loved the musical score, the storyline, the characters & the look & feel of the game. One of the things that also impressed me was all the different outfits they had for her character. I don't think there was anything that she wore that I didn't love or wouldn't wear myself... which is kinda different for the video game genre since most games that have the main character being a female put them into super tight, revealing clothing. This one kept it fresh as well as keeping everything comfortable-looking & realistic.
I also love the fact that you get to see all the different times, places, people, & all the struggles of Jodie Holmes (Ellen Page's character). I had so much fun the first time, I decided to play it again. And now, after beating it a second time, I'm gonna play it again. This has become my favorite! I love that there are different endings depending on what outcome you choose.
I already adored Ellen Page after seeing her years ago in "Hard Candy" but after playing her for hours in BTS, she has made a devoted fan out of me ♥

I like that girl texting right in front of the camera, while on the job. And then moving aside, apparently thinking she gets out of the frame, and making signs to other people while still in the frame.
I gotta say - I was pretty suprised they didn't recreate the famous makeup scene option like in Heavy Rain
Not saying Heavy Rain was more grounding breaking thn Beyond...but Heavy Rain was a much more ground breaking achievement than Beyond
i really liked playing this game. i didnt feel quite the emotional attachment that i did with the last of us but thats a pretty high standard and this game still delivers

beyond is certainly an emotional experience that gets players very connected to the characters especially jodies holmes and her life. beyond is so not your traditional "game". im on my 3rd play through in beyond :D ellen did an amazing job, shes not only adorably cute but an amazing actress i so hope she stars in more games on ps4!
