i love ellen for her humble personality. she is someone i understand and can identify myself with really well. i'm so glad there are people like her among my generation.

When I first saw the cover for Beyond: Two Souls in the store, I thought that it was a sequel to The Last of Us, because Ellen Page looks a lot like the girl from The Last of Us. :D

This is old, but oh well. Beyond: Two Souls came out on PS4 a few days ago, and it's the first time I played it, as I was somewhat hesitant to play it originally, and I want to say, while the game had some issues, overall I thought the story was pretty good, and Ellen Page as well as the rest of the cast did a great job. Also, while it should be obvious that actors are different from their characters they play, I've never really watched an interview where Ellen Page talks that much (unfortunately), and going from Beyond, or even Juno, and even Inception, it's jarring to see how different she actually is.
It's not a bad thing, just something that I am noticing here and surprises me a bit, even though it shouldn't. I hope something else in the game industry comes along that interests her, because it'd be cool to see her be in one again. One last thing I wanted to say, as she brings up the whole women in gaming topic; in 2013, while there were a handful of memorable male characters, I actually felt that the women characters/actresses stole the show. Jodie (Ellen Page in Beyond: Two Souls); Ellie (Ashley Johnson in The Last of Us); Elizabeth (Courtnee Draper in Bioshock Infinite), and even Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider reboot (Camilla Luddington).

I know it's been 4 years but i've played tons of times beyond two souls and watched some Ellen Page 's movies and I still can't imagine anyone better than her for that character, Jodie is strong and brave and smart and sarcastic and honest and so seems Ellen Page, she is such great actress. I dont talk perfect English but I hope ppl get my point of view, but just wow, I admire her a lot not just because of the game etc but still she seems such a nice person. is one of those famous people you look forward to meet not because is famous but because she is really nice and seems really interesting. Elliot Page should have gotten an Academy Award for her role in "Hard Candy!" Omggggg..I've only seen one other actor who compares to having the intensity of a role and that's Meryl Streep! I would LOVE to see Elliot Page and Meryl Streep do a movie together! I'd definitely be gliding through 7th heaven..just sayin'!

She's not Ellie. She looks like her, yes. They based Ellie's look on Ashley Johnson (the actual Ellie) when she was younger. When The Last Of Us first came out there was controversy about her looking like Ellen Page so they altered Ellie's model in-game to look less like her, she still sorta does though.

These DP/30 interviews are very good. The questions go beyond the film that the actors want to plug and are very interesting and not intrusive. The actors seem very relaxed and comfortable and not just in their regular "Interview" mode. Keep them up!

No i think people should stop saying she should have played it! Ashley Jonhson did an amazing job voicing Ellie and just like one of the directors said, it couldn't have been played by anyone except her. Stop giving Ellen credits for something she didn't do. Ellen did an amazing job on Beyond and i loved her acting.

Beyond Two Souls is propably the most emotional and heartwarming game i´ve ever played. I lituraly think i cried for at least half an hour!
I simply can´t describe the love i fell for this game.
