When I first saw the cover for Beyond: Two Souls in the store, I thought that it was a sequel to The Last of Us, because Ellen Page looks a lot like the girl from The Last of Us. :D
This is old, but oh well. Beyond: Two Souls came out on PS4 a few days ago, and it's the first time I played it, as I was somewhat hesitant to play it originally, and I want to say, while the game had some issues, overall I thought the story was pretty good, and Ellen Page as well as the rest of the cast did a great job. Also, while it should be obvious that actors are different from their characters they play, I've never really watched an interview where Ellen Page talks that much (unfortunately), and going from Beyond, or even Juno, and even Inception, it's jarring to see how different she actually is. It's not a bad thing, just something that I am noticing here and surprises me a bit, even though it shouldn't. I hope something else in the game industry comes along that interests her, because it'd be cool to see her be in one again. One last thing I wanted to say, as she brings up the whole women in gaming topic; in 2013, while there were a handful of memorable male characters, I actually felt that the women characters/actresses stole the show. Jodie (Ellen Page in Beyond: Two Souls); Ellie (Ashley Johnson in The Last of Us); Elizabeth (Courtnee Draper in Bioshock Infinite), and even Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider reboot (Camilla Luddington).

Beyond Two Souls is propably the most emotional and heartwarming game i´ve ever played. I lituraly think i cried for at least half an hour! I simply can´t describe the love i fell for this game. I simply want to write the story down in a book so that people thousand years later can get the same experiance as i did! @@journ753 OP is infatuated with a specific person who existed at a specific time, and that person has changed significantly. And honestly I feel their sentiment too.
As far as the pronouns go, I really think people should ease up with calling people out, especially online communities. Acting like every instance of misgendering (especially in a convo which that person will never read) is an act of transphobia that is going to cause a suicide is really not the right way to go about it. You just gotta let people ease into the idea that this person is now someone different, and that takes time.
