And you also have to consider all this hard work and money spent so as to create this masterpiece (famous actors, outstanding musicians including Hans Zimmer etc) Well I believe the underlying cause behind all this hatred is David Cage's bad reputation. Some didn't even play this game and criticize it as being one of the worst titles.
There's more to art than presentation. Story, character writing and gameplay are always weak in David Cage's games. His game's also have a tendency to jump the shark. Indigo Prophecy: Starts with a paranormal murder investigation, ends with aliens, the apocalypse and Matrix Revolution style kung fu battles. Detroit Become Human: Starts with androids going rogue and becoming sentient, ends a literal holocaust allegory and androids brawling in the streets for the fate of humanity. If David Cage made actual movies he'd be a laughing stock.

IVAN AJ I haven’t had the time to play it again. But when I first played it at 11, I was obsessed with it. I really enjoyed it. My ending sadly wasn’t the good one. But if I had the chance to play it again, I would definitely still love it.
I discovered this game this year on Playstation Now. I played the game with my mom watching and we both really loved the story, it was extremely unique and we enjoyed the idea of having multiple choices in every chapter. Thank you creators for making such a wonderful experience for all that played this masterpiece.

I bought this game for Elliot and William. Boy I wasnt disappointed. William as usual is just unreal here. They captured character models really well and you can see the acting range from Elliot here.
As a game it has many flaws (gameplay, some of the character arcs, not a lot of jeopardy in the choices you make), but it is certainly emotionally intense and Jodie is a hell of a character.
I just completed this game tonight. Kudos to the quantic dream for creating such amazing games. They don't get the recognization they deserve. Criminally underrated!
I've always wondered who's idea it was to pronounce Aiden's name as Eye-den instead of A-den. Don't tell me that Eye-den is the way it's pronounced. I should know.
That's a weird name to pronounce correctly because it has existed way before Ireland was a country. They used a variable of the name in the Middle East (Aidan) and also the Hebrews used a similar one (Aden or Adin). So there is no point in getting upset over it.

We all sure as shit know how to pronounce the name Aiden. It's like watching a movie or playing a game where everybody in the movie or game pronounces the word tomato as termatah.
Then the actors have to portray and film multiple options based on the user's choices. If Jodi gets hit, doesn't get it. If Jodi falls, passes out, etc

I can't believe this is only $20 on Steam. It really is one of the most beautiful stories I've been told by A video game. The only time I stopped through the whole game was trying to play the CIA training with a goddamn mouse. Poor girl took a beating because I couldn't swipe left fast enough or on time. Had to switch to a game pad. The only bad thing I can say about it was that the controls were a pain in the ass. I got used to it. This game needs to be played. It's story is immense. Playing through it the non-chrono way definitely made it feel like a MUCH longer story. Idk really know who David Cage IS, but if he made a game like this. Man is awesome. So yeah, play it. Do this for me. :)
This game made me cry a couple times during my first run through. While it does have it's sluggish, buggy gameplay, the story far surpasses the initial "clunkiness" of the game that you get used to with David's games.
