i played that ending just recently (the one where she goes back to the farm) and i couldn't help but notice the look on Cory's face when Jodi rode in and ran over to Jay with a huge embrace
Anybody else who also thought that they should have made an ending, where Jodie could choose to live and be with Cole instead of Ryan or Jay, because he treats her like she was his family and she kind of needed that.
Aladdin Al Mohamad but he used her... yeah he maybe treated her nice and all but he still used her just like Nathan. I thought the Jay ending was the best for her. maybe the homeless "family" too but, everyone else just used her, Jay acted kinda mean at first but thats just how he is with new people. i think with Jay she could have lived peacefully...
+LilyHelen Leyden She didnt eve know Jay that well, they didnt hang out much either.. besides life in that ranch.. well not my cup of tea imo. Living with the homeless would have been ideal.. then eventually she'll find a new BF down the line anyway. I loved those homeless folk. I felt strong emotion when i reunited with them in my first ending. I barely felt a thing for the other endings
+Kirstje Jodie and Ryan went on a mission together and they got caught. The bad guys force Jodie to reveal where they came from, and here, players get to choose to reveal or not to reveal. If they choose to not do so, the bad guy would torture Ryan and hurt his eye (that is why he wears eyepatch).
Just had an epiphany - the reason the order of events in the game seems so random is because, like Jodie says in most of the endings, her memories are scrambled and she doesn't remember which ones come first.
newbcake88 Yea i get that she doesnt remember which memories come first.. But with simple reasoning she can deduce that the memories of her being a baby\kid should, at the very least, come before the memories of when she's in a war torn country killing baddies.. It's an interesting concept bt has a few holes in it..
I guess the idea being put across is that we played the game in the order that she was remembering the events.. It's an interesting idea but i still believe it has loopholes..
I hated Ryan when I played. He was horrible to her and then suddenly claimed to love her after he put her through so much crap I just couldn't with him, something about him just made me not like him Jodie was much better off with the homeless people and Zoey because as she said they never judged her. They took her in immediately, not caring about her past Hell she was even better off with Jay tbh
PurpleAccio I just love that he didn't give a crap that Jodie had an over protective twin brother who has killed many people, and treated her like she was normal.
One of the issues I had with this game was the sort of forced romantic plotline with Ryan. I almost felt obligated to choose him over Jay at the very end. Kind of wish Jay was more integrated into the story had you chosen him as the romantic partner.
+Gumdrop_ Goody the thing that a lot of people didn't know is that ig you want to heal him you have to go inside the house first... if you start the ritual first then you can't go back
Was anybody else's heart dying watching Ryan sob over Jodie's dead body and looking sad and depressed afterwards? Even if you don't like him he obviously loved her and that was so freakin sad to watch, I mean c'mon how can you not at least feel sorry for him?
I actually liked the ending with Tuesday and the other guys, it felt nice for Jodie to have some people who loved her regardless of not knowing her that well. They accepted her and never treated her badly, they are like family to her and I think it's what she looked for. But her Alone ending is somewhat also fitting for the game, Jodie changed after the inferno world thing and made her realize more things about herself. However, for the romantic type of ending wasn't really my thing. It's somewhat messed up because you only get to choose between a guy you only knew for like 3 days and another dude who's been treating you badly and manipulate you. Even though he changed around the ending, it seemed like it was just a fan service or something.
i hated the romance options so i chose the homeless people. but i wish Cory was a romance option cuz he was so cute and was nice to Jodie the second she showed up to the second she left
You're not the only one. When Jodie talked about being able to meet, even merge, with any soul she wanted, it left a huge question mark. What about Aiden? Any of the other people who died in her lifetime? They're not mentioned at all, just shown *before* she chooses Beyond.
Anne Sofie Kousgaard second part on the way and main charachter will be zoey i think thats her name i only gues but thats most likely to be like i think because of visions you seeother girl and at 1 ending you see yodie at others 2 girl (zoey and jodie will be her aiden )
Interesting, the number of the people who died in that accident (as stated in the TV while Jodie is writing) doesn't change whether everyone dies or not. It's always 283.
It's funny.. CIA wants that they should do the badass thing first. And if someone else is trying to do it, they should stop them because they can mess it up. And then they themselves mess it up.
I found Everybody Lives - Beyond to be the most satisfying. I would be completely content if that was our afterlife. No heaven, no hell, just existing. She was with Aiden, watched Ryan, prepared Zoey, and let Cole know she was still there. Good ending.
*Life* - *Ryan*'s Ending makes more sense. She goes to live with someone who cares about her and then on the end... *Spoiler Alert* Aiden shows up. I nearly cried during that scene. Aiden avoided doing any connection to Jodie during those months in order to allow Jodie to let it go. To live her own life... And that's so sweet... Well, the wone with Jodie and the little girl also makes sense.
Spoilers: That's the ending I went with. Choosing life made the most sense as i saved everyone expect Paul( i didn't know you could) and Jodie said there was so much left to do, plus seeing Ryan crying that he loved her pulled at my heartstrings. I choose ryan beacuse deep down he's a good guy and truly cares about her. . They knew each other most of their life. It seemed like the obvious choice. I also chose to spare him from torture earlier in the game. When Ryan pulled up to his house and saw her and they embraced and kissed it made me cry. Very few games have ever done that to me and I applaud the developers for that. This game was an experience i will never forget.
Cameron Will I chose life as well, same reasons as you Cameron. I think it was a great game but there were moments that were really sad almost depressing. I saved everyone which I am happy about but I didn't know you could save Paul either until I read about it later :( oh well..do you have a game to suggest that is similar to this besides Heavy Rain that anyone can suggest?
0:50 Jodie Dies 10:43 Everyone Lives Life 21:31 Life Zoey 24:32 Life Jay 28:28 Life Ryan 33:47 Everyone Dies Beyond 40:04 Everyone Dies Life 46:30 Life Alone 49:53 Life Jay 53:16 Life Zoey Not sure why the title says 24 instead of 10. And I'm also fairly certain there are 11, so there's one missing.
I wish they did a season 2. The ending was like a friggin cliff hanger. all you see is Jodie looking at a black ball saying shes not scared of death anymore. Or in the Zoey route her daughter goes with her because Zoey's daughter also has an entity. But when Jodie died did she become Zoey's daughter's entity? IDFK I JUST CONFUSED MYSELF
Not My Real Name zoey is actually her real name The reason why people called her Tuesday is bcuz she told people that was the day she left home or something like that
There's a lot of people who prefer the Ryan ending but in my opinion it's the Zoey option. Jodie bonded with these people so well because she was like them in some ways; broken, saddened, etc. They didn't have much to offer but it was enough for Jodie and that's what I love so much about it.
Ryan and Jodie have very much things in comun. Both have unhappy past and they have lots of moments together. Ryan can be a asshole, but i think he is the right choice, he really love that girl and i guess she love him too, after all, in the end with him she look soo happy! Zoey ending is good but strange, in my opinion. Who choose live with strangers then you see once? The same thing happen with Jay end. Sorry for my bad english, i am portuguese.
I don't think he ever leaves her, he's always there right next to Jodie. She just can't hear of feel him anymore. He's always looking out for her, she's his sister, he loves her. All the crap they've been through. He wouldn't just abandon her. They just make it less obvious that he's there in the Zoey ending.
You've replied to almost every comment I cared to look at where people said they cried because of the ending(s) of the game. All of those replies were negative about those people and the game. I can understand if you're upset about the game's endings, but don't take it out on others who loved the game.
I think this game failed big time when they did not take the huge potential in the relationship between Aiden and Jodie. They should have focused way more on it. Aiden was her most important friend and they should have made more of an emotional moment when Jodie had to decide to have Aiden or leave him. I would have literally cried if Jodie had the chance to see Aiden literally as an entitiy and had the chance to decide to leave or stay with him. I mean there was so much potential for an emotional ending that would have shocked every player of that game, bringing most of us to tears, but Quantic Dream missed out on that one. I mean Jodie fking lost Aiden and it seems as if we as the players didnt really care, because it was just a 10 second scene where she lied there crying. The ending should have definitevly be the decision between Life or Aiden and then also script it better, so the emotional part of that decision would have been in the main focus. This game is one of the greatest games EVER that I played, yet I feel if they for example took the approach Telltale Games made with Walking Dead season 1 ( spoiler incoming ), where they let Lee die at the end and made Clementine shoot him. That ending was so emotional and beautiful in itself, just because the whole story was build around their relationship and then they finished it with perfect writing. That bullet shot at the end of TWD seaosn 1 ended the story and gave a shot into the heart of the player. Quantic Dream should have done something similar with the connection between Aiden and Jodie. That would have been a truly great ending, whereas those endings didnt really hit me. Same went for heavy rain, just that one of the 16 endings was ( spoiler alert ) Ethan shooting himself in his room or the other ending where he shoot himself on the grave, which also made the endings very emotional and beautiful. Still, Beyond two Souls definitvely is a great game no doubt, especially the parts within the game, which mostly where very emotional and intense.
+Dancinglings If you think about it, If you chose Life in the game, it's basically saying Jodie is going to stay with Aiden and the other love ones to die. :/
2018?? Am here after they made the game free on ps plus, and really if i knew that this game is that amazing i would of got it long time ago, but for real this is 2018 and this game is still a legend, one of my favorite games 🌸💗
AKARI Totally agreed with ya! I also downloaded this game for free and it was totally worth it. Such an emotionally and beautiful game I've ever played.
Finished it there. I got the beyond ending with everyone lives. Very satisfying. I downloaded the game last month and it took me ages to convince myself to play it. If I knew it was this good I would have played it much sooner. One of the best games I ever played
SmileyGirly2000 Jay was just a character that appeared literally once. Ryan is an ass at first, but later Jodie actually likes him. He's also the only character there to comfort Jodie when Aiden leaves.
***** At first.. Then he got better as he got to know Jodie.. He even kisses her if you don't ruin the date using Aiden. He also doesn't complain about what you pick for a dinner. Even pizza. Then he kisses you again before a mission and tells her he doesn't want anything to happen to her. (and we can see by now he cares about Jodie) Then, when she's surrounded by people who are ready to fucking TEAR HER APART, Ryan comes by and rescues her, and even comforts her. Then we find out he lied, but still.. He doesn't make the rules.. Then he comes back later, and she's pissed, but Ryan doesn't get pissy back. Then they go on ANOTHER mission.. Then they get captured.. And Jodie destroys the thingy thing. Then we find that Ryan didn't leave, even though he could've, and he would've had a better chance of surviving if he did.. Then they swim up, and Ryan confesses that he loves Jodie. Later, we're back to see Hitler has been resurrected and wants to take over the world again. (JK, lol) So then Ryan and Jodie have a nice conversation, then they go. Then Nathan does his fuck up, and then Hitler captures you and prepares to "Inject you with a Neuro acid". Later, Ryan is literally the FIRST TO FUCKING FIGURE OUT THAT JODIE IS IN TROUBLE. Then later he punches Hitler in the face (like a boss) and acts all badass. So then they all go into the black sun, and Cole gets hurt (Or dies if you don't heal him). So then shit happens and Ryan risks his life by giving Jodie his belt thingy. And then later, if you choose to live with him, he literally DROPS HIS GROCERIES at the sight of Jodie. And then they live on a fucking beach together and have babies with demons attached to them. (THEE AIND) Plus, I can understand why Ryan is an ass. He's in the CIA, and his dad used to beat him up.
its best to choose ryan because they have a longer passed they try to self destruct the containment field and they do CIA hitman missions but all she does with jay is get rid of the indian curse on the desert, ryan and jodie are mean't to be because history keeps bringing them closer and closer.. also if u choose ryan it writes still here in the sand when they travel to a far away paradise.
I hope they make the next Beyond Two Souls, possibly named The Pandora's Box or something, and it follows the player's decision at Beyond Two Souls. For example if we chose the Zoey option we would play as Zoey and Jodie trying to stop the condenser, but the creators will make the story long. I just REALLY REALLY REALLY hope that they will make the next season. If anyone agrees like or comment, I don't want this game to end. T_T
I really didn't like Ryan that much to begin with, that's why I let him have his eye gauged out by the asian interrogator...and then he had that eye patch, and gotdamn idk what it was about that eye patch but lets just say me and my sexy pirate sailed off into the sunset and made out on the beach. I never knew how hot eye patches could be. Best ending.
I cant breath hahaha that is psycotic I figured Id let Jodie take the high road and not let Ryan get stabbed to death or a missing eye. He was definitely a douche but he redeemed himself at the end I thought. Your comment has me *DEAD* though!
I chose Jay too, not just for him, but also because she had some of the best days of her life in that place. Finally happy and free, if you exclude the massive demon who wanted to kill everybody.
@@mikemajetzky8087 I liked it but I can easily see how someone wouldn't. You can't lose even if you try, most choices don't matter at all, the controls and camera are annoying, some levels were a slog, e.g. the burning levels, and even the story is a bit cliche, similar to stranger things. If it wasn't so high budget it would be meh.
@@Gaze73do you mean tv show"stranger things"? cause this game is 3 years older than ST . By the way I tottaly agree with you this game released in 2013 and makes me feel very old game sometimes when I play in 2023. But the fact is, this is the most movie alike game ever made I think. I didn't feel I'm playing video game I feel I watched a movie. So I can say these things you said are true but not important for me
@@samert2 Yeah I even found a thread that speculated that Netflix secretly bought the rights to film this so they could make stranger things. The similarities are uncanny. ST is 3 years older than the game.
*The screen fades back in to reveal Jodie in front of a normal-looking apartment door.* They took me in when I was alone. *Ding dong!* When all I could think about was dying.
I actually felt that the Ryan ending was the proper ending...I know he was a dick at the start but then everyone makes mistakes and they go through their trials and tribulations, I actually felt he redeemed himself when he gave up the belt risking his life so that Jodie could shut down the condenser, also he truly loved her. Being alone was not an option as I think it would have been unfair to Jodie. living with the homeless people is nice and all but its not a romantic ending and Jodie deserved someone. Jay was a nice guy, but their meeting was too short, its like we didn't know enough about him, I would have chosen him if they knew longer, but its like they knew each other only for barely 3 days.
+Ad Astra My GF and I played this game together. I played as Jodie, she as Aiden, and we both agreed to stand by the other's choices. So, when the final choice came, there were only two options to me: Ryan and Alone. And that was the most difficult choice in the game for me. When I ultimately chose Ryan, she looked at me like I had just stabbed a dog. LOL
+icyboy771z I feel like the Zoey ending is the best. Just because something isn't romantic, doesn't mean it's not happy. I feel like, with the Zoey ending, Jodie finally had a family, a group of people that loved and cared about her, which in my opinion is more important.
+icyboy771z I dunno, Ryan showing romantic interest in a woman he already knew when she was still a teenager gives me the creeps. With the homeless people, she is at least genuinely loved, has a family and a purpose (training Zoey for what's to come), that is worth so much more than mere romance. It seems so much more full with life than just "I'm going on a boat trip with my douchebag boyfriend".
+Insert Clever Name Yeah you're right. I'll reply last chapter to get that ending, missed that the first time. But Ryan didn't have to be rejected for her to go back and have a family.. That was kind of sad. And why didn't Aiden show up? Couldn't get that.
2013 was the best year for games. So many incredible games with good stories came out that year. The last of us, Metal gear rising, Gta 5, God of war Ascension, Beyond two souls, and Batman: Arkham origins.
What a beautiful game, but they really hinted at a sequel which I think would ruin the point of this game. Would there be left to do? Just survive the apocalypse? And damn, Jodie dying was one depressing finale.
I don't think they will. It's one of those stories where you decide how it goes from their forming your own theories based on how you played. It's funner that way.
there's interviews with David Cage online. he's not making a sequel however there are DLC's for this game. he's not completely against making sequels in general however his main focus is creativity and i think he thinks that making sequels takes away creativity because it's like using the same ideas. that's why he didn't make sequels for Fahrenheit or Heavy Rain. both games feel like there could be a sequel, however there wont be one
So in order to get Jay ending you need to ignore Ryan? haha i never let that guy kiss Jodie, even Aiden doesn't approve him :D Hopefully i will get a good ending with Jay, too bad we didn't really get to know him that much and he is only in one chapter :( sucks, i really love the peaceful place they have there, i think its perfect for Jodie to start a new life
I don't think they're actually linked, I think Zoey is just able to communicate with souls, and if Jodie dies, she chooses to speak to Zoey and guide her. I could be wrong though, just speculating.
+Hayleybug To get the "Jodie dies" ending, you need to fail all the Quick Time Events during the "Black Sun". Jodie will die and the sun will not close.
alone ending means you are a loner , jay ending means you choose love and being simple and want a quiet life , ryan ending you choose the fine things in life and love , zoey ending you choose friends and you dont like being alone..
Beyond ending: I want the ones I love to know I'm still there, that I'm okay, but I can't. 3 seconds later she writes "Little princess is still here" in Cole's monitor. An she doesn't even make a signal to Ryan who was destroyed because of her death. Awesome game but full of plot holes.
4 years later and I now realize what if it was Aiden who wrote that? It would make sense since he didn't like Ryan but Cole was Jodies mentor? Maybe it was Aiden showing Cole that she's fine instead of Jodie herself
all i want is an ending where jodie can be with aidan and all her dead family and friends together and have her be happy without god damn ryan the creepo and not have some big confusing thing happen with zoey. I love aidan waaaaay to much as a character to le him leave jodie. there, i said it.
i ship johnlock till death, so i want to give you a gift, because of your amazing name (Sherlock in books):Mr. John Watson, Mr Watson, Doctor (who) (Sherlock in the series): Jaaaaaaaawwnnn
I chose for her to be with Jay (everyone alive). We did not have a big romance story with him, yet, ingame. But while he's reserved, he has a good heart - he is deeply loyal to his family and he's kind to animals. He never pressured Jodie into doing anything romantic, and they are connected through the experience with the spirits. He'd understand what she dealt with more likely than most other people. And the life out there in the desert is free and simple and far away from the drama and complications of the world. She can find peace and company there. For I doubt she could function well in a city or so. Her life and experiences are too different from everyone else's, and it would be much easier for the CIA to find her again. If there grows deep love between her and Jay, time will tell. Even if not, it's a good place for her right now to finally take a breath. And who knows, maybe she can study the mysteries of the other side there, too, as there's already been a connection to spirits in this area before. Maybe she can learn what the natives knew about the other side, or how to stabilize the connection to Aiden again. Either way, this place has potential for her ^-^ I didn't like how hard the game tried to push us towards Ryan. Aiden clearly didn't approve of him either, whereas towards Jay he had no aversion. I trust his judgement and my guts there, plus Ryan turned on us before. Forgive, yes, but don't forget.
Ok im not the only one wanting to see how Aiden looks right? not that it matters... but its killing me to not know how Aiden looks like ;-; edit:i mean how he would look like if he was alive..
the ending with ryan and everyone living is the best ending by far. Although, in mine, when she's overlooking the dimensional rip, ryan was standing with me. Idk how I got that one but that was the best one imo.
I would love a sequel but thanks to the internet and their cancerous bandwagon, I doubt we will ever see one. TellTale gets praise for their interactive narratives yet this one gets bashed for it. This is a beautiful game and told a fantastic story. It's a damn shame, really.
Brandon MacLeod Re-read what I said multiple times to find any facts I may have stated, didn't find anything more than my opinion of it so...what are you on about, friend?
There is only one reason that I see this game doesn't need a sequel. I know the ending pokes at there being a sequel, but with all the different ways the ending can be altered, they would need to preform what Mass Effect did, or select a cannon ending. In Mass Effect 2, it read your old save file from Mass Effect 1 to keep up with your choices from the first game. A cannon ending is just the developers selecting their favorite ending and making the new game from that. Either way, a cannon ending would get a lot of people pissed, but since it's been years, from 2013, and the game hasn't gotten a sequel, it probably won't get one, unless the devs are keeping us in the dark and taking their longest time making it. With it actually being on the ps4 and a lot of people playing it, they could actually pull off a sequel by using the Mass Effect idea. I'm just not going to hold my breath.
Best ending is: Everyone Lives - Life - Ryan. And worse and the most saddest ending is: Everyone died - Beyond )) OR Everyone died - Life - Alone.. :((
Everyone lives --> Jodie rejects the "Infraworld"/Necropolis --> Jodie stays with Ryan "...as if it never happened." Pandora's box has opened. After going through most of her life with the man, Jodie settles her differences with him and decides to live with him. They go on many vacations, and try to forget about the Necropolis as if it never existed. Although Aiden returns, it is fairly obvious both of them are too out of practice with absolutely no help to face the coming apocalypse. The Secret Hero does not receive her training, and Humanity fights a losing battle against the entities that come from the depths of the Necropolis as well as being unable to stop the surge of the souls of deceased Humans from returning to the world of the living. Everyone dies --> Jodie accepts the "Infraworld"/Necropolis "I continue to watch through your world..." A terrible darkness will fall upon the land. The events of the Black Sun were catastrophic. Many people in the Pentagon have died due to the reckless actions of an unknown terrorist. The government is doing their best to hide it, but many other countries are attempting to gain access and control the "Infraworld"/Necropolis. Over time, the people involved with the Black Sun fade to the strands of time, and everyone is looking forward to the future of this new frontier. Only Zoey sees what will come, but who will believe a little girl with voices inside her head? Together, the spirit of Jodie and the Diamond Child, Zoey must prepare to fight a losing battle against the coming Ragnarok. Perhaps one day, Aiden may return as well. Source colored for your immersion pleasure.
MiguelAngel Rabago I did. It's based on what happens during the second half of the general run, explaining certain things as if either Jodie or Zoey saw it, and explaining what I think what either Jodie or Zoey would want to happen. The only thing that wasn't coloured based on the source is the better name for the "Infraworld", which is Necropolis, or City of the Dead.
My favorite endings are Everybody Lives - Life - Ryan or Everybody Lives - Life - Jay. I like the Everybody Lives - Life - Zoey as well but I don't like it as much as the Jay and Ryan ending. I feel like Jodie needs someone in her life who could love her like a partner.
awesome video. As far as the endings, I feel like the game led you toward everyone lives/life/ryan as the "correct" one. It was so much longer than, say, the Jay one. Also, I didn't like that both the alone endings were sad/depressing. Alone is not always bad. She had to depend on Aiden her entire life, I feel like she needs to be alone for once to get her life back together...
Gosh DANG! The endings.. Powerful stuff. Thanks for uploading and sharing all the endings. If they are making a sequel to this game, it should definitely very interesting and probably way more intense.
I think I like "Everyone dies - Life - Alone" best. It does make for the most depressing ending (sorta) but it fits the game best I think. (All in all I do think they made the endings too strict though; it's pretty much "choose one and don't give a fuck about anyone else ever again" ó_o Perhaps that's why I like "alone" best - at least you don't choose one in particular over *everyone* who lit up your life along the way... You also kinda get to stay alone with Aiden, so that's a plus ^^ )
I actually felt like the ending to stay alone was the best ending, plus Aiden comes back in that ending. It leaves this whole world of untold adventures to the imagination; as Jodie travels from place to place finding new stories and souls to help. That's always what's she's done in my mind - so it's the the most fitting,
I was honestly crying halfway and I love when everyone lives, I don't care who Jodie is with (except alone), I just feel uplifted when i found out Aiden was still with her.
The Zoey ending is the ending that makes most sense to me. If it had Ryan in it it would even be better, but it's a choice to make after all. The Jay ending makes the least amount of sense to me though. Why the hell would she choose to live with a random dude she knew like, 5 days
Am I the only one that thinks Cory (jays brother) was brutally friend zoned 😂 he was totally flirting with Jodie first and then she went and chose jay
I WAS THINKING THE SAME FRICKIN THING 😂
yeah
you are not the only one
i played that ending just recently (the one where she goes back to the farm) and i couldn't help but notice the look on Cory's face when Jodi rode in and ran over to Jay with a huge embrace
+Emily Haden haha, really?! did u hit yourself over the head with the controller or something?
Anybody else who also thought that they should have made an ending, where Jodie could choose to live and be with Cole instead of Ryan or Jay, because he treats her like she was his family and she kind of needed that.
Yes thank you
bit weird with the age gap and the fact he was a father figure who called her princess...........or do you mean just live with him?
Well I mean just live with him, because just like you said, he's a father figure to her
Aladdin Al Mohamad but he used her...
yeah he maybe treated her nice and all but he still used her just like Nathan. I thought the Jay ending was the best for her.
maybe the homeless "family" too but, everyone else just used her,
Jay acted kinda mean at first but thats just how he is with new people.
i think with Jay she could have lived peacefully...
It's weird seeing Ryan without his eyepatch....
yes, I know
Its weird seeing him with one
Can anybody explain when he haves the eyepatch and when not.
ImKirstje cuz theres one mission when they got captured and they torture ryan and yea
Just had an epiphany - the reason the order of events in the game seems so random is because, like Jodie says in most of the endings, her memories are scrambled and she doesn't remember which ones come first.
Very true bt how abt the events when i was a baby come before those wen i'm an adult?..
Firas Kalungi Reflective already answered your question.
newbcake88
Yea i get that she doesnt remember which memories come first.. But with simple reasoning she can deduce that the memories of her being a baby\kid should, at the very least, come before the memories of when she's in a war torn country killing baddies.. It's an interesting concept bt has a few holes in it..
Not really. The mind is more complicated than you want to think. Let the bias blow away with the wind.
I guess the idea being put across is that we played the game in the order that she was remembering the events.. It's an interesting idea but i still believe it has loopholes..
can't believe William was the-foe
i kek'd
de foe he doin though
lol
wormwearingcowboyhat 829 What da foe?
😂 best comment doe
Ryan is playing with my emotions throughout the game
MatchaLatte for real... BUT he‘s handsome ugh
That pretty much summarises my decisions in regards to him xD.
Insult -> Kiss -> Insult -> Kiss
Hes funny but weird
That’s why I didn’t choose him lmaooo
FUCK RYAN ALL MY HOMIES HATE AND LOVE RYAN 😭😭
Best ending = Living with all the homeless people, with none of them having died.
Sillyness terminated.
But then Aiden doesn't come back...
Oh well.
PS3GamerHD2012 lol
yeah aiden may come back cus of zoey
I hated Ryan when I played. He was horrible to her and then suddenly claimed to love her after he put her through so much crap
I just couldn't with him, something about him just made me not like him
Jodie was much better off with the homeless people and Zoey because as she said they never judged her. They took her in immediately, not caring about her past
Hell she was even better off with Jay tbh
I would choose Jay (if my game would stop freezing on me at the same spot every time I play) his personality and good looks just won me over.
Amanda Aschenbrenner I agree, he was a much better fit for Jodie!
PurpleAccio I just love that he didn't give a crap that Jodie had an over protective twin brother who has killed many people, and treated her like she was normal.
Amanda Aschenbrenner jay
PurpleAccio SHES BETTER WITH COLE
One of the issues I had with this game was the sort of forced romantic plotline with Ryan. I almost felt obligated to choose him over Jay at the very end. Kind of wish Jay was more integrated into the story had you chosen him as the romantic partner.
i felt the same way!
Drive ssjm fuck off weirdo
Hands down preferred Jay over Ryan like it seemed like a no brainier but they rly did push Ryan lmao
Drive ssjm can’t tell if you’re joking or not
Shaye J same, I actually felt stuff with jay so I picked him. Felt right
she should have stayed with Cole.
Omg thank you I was thinking the same thing xD
Amoriana N. Cole dies.
+Idek what to put here !MCR and BVB trash! Look at cryoatic let's play and Cole is still alive there (sorry for my spelling)
Amoriana N. look at pewdiepie coles alive there

I don't think it's possible. I mean at what moment makes the marker of he lives or dies?
+Gumdrop_ Goody it is messyourself did it
yes u can it is just eally hard
+Leslie Tamares Messyourself its the best at the series
+Gumdrop_ Goody the thing that a lot of people didn't know is that ig you want to heal him you have to go inside the house first... if you start the ritual first then you can't go back
Was anybody else's heart dying watching Ryan sob over Jodie's dead body and looking sad and depressed afterwards? Even if you don't like him he obviously loved her and that was so freakin sad to watch, I mean c'mon how can you not at least feel sorry for him?
I tried so hard not to cry... D;
You are right
I was crying a little whoops
+Taylor Wehle Sure I felt bad, sure, but I've never liked Ryan. In his case, once a douche, always a douche.
+Taylor Wehle Yea, that ending was so sad. :
I thought so too.
I just feel like she didn't really know them that long. She really only stayed with them one night. She barely knows them.
exactly
i hated the romance options so i chose the homeless people. but i wish Cory was a romance option cuz he was so cute and was nice to Jodie the second she showed up to the second she left
Its like Ada Wong and Leon Kennedy
Am I the only one who finds it weird that Jodie doesn't talk about being finally united on the same plane with Aidan, when she chooses The Beyond?
You're not the only one. When Jodie talked about being able to meet, even merge, with any soul she wanted, it left a huge question mark. What about Aiden? Any of the other people who died in her lifetime? They're not mentioned at all, just shown *before* she chooses Beyond.
aiden is her brother that men in the beyond
I wanted to know so much more about her mother and Aiden.
Anne Sofie Kousgaard second part on the way and main charachter will be zoey i think thats her name i only gues but thats most likely to be like i think because of visions you seeother girl and at 1 ending you see yodie at others 2 girl (zoey and jodie will be her aiden )
@@AnsoCreativity Aiden is just her dead fetus brother, what is there more to know?
Interesting, the number of the people who died in that accident (as stated in the TV while Jodie is writing) doesn't change whether everyone dies or not. It's always 283.
I guess their deaths were classified (-;
@@KKhhoorrnniittee Or maybe it could mean that incident is another (another condensator maybe?)
@@KKhhoorrnniittee i think it’s more of a way to spare the effort of making so many different cutscenes
Am I the only one who thinks Ryan looks better with an eyepatch?
Yeess he looks waay more badass!!!
+Elisa García Gámez But why did he have one? In my endings he didn't. Was there some accident?
+A.N.T Bhatti yes, when you are in the Korean base if you don't speak they take his eye, and if you speak they don't
It's funny.. CIA wants that they should do the badass thing first. And if someone else is trying to do it, they should stop them because they can mess it up. And then they themselves mess it up.
+Elisa García Gámez was it Korean, I saw Chinese symbols and I'm a k-popper
the zoey ending is beautiful
Loreto Hidalgo if there's beyond two souls 2 i think zoey is the next player og the game
(Of)
Loreto Hidalgo which one exactly? the one where she and Jodie are seeing the dream?
Its the only one I like. At least the one where Cole lived
Cole lived in mine when I chose Life, and Ryan.
I found Everybody Lives - Beyond to be the most satisfying. I would be completely content if that was our afterlife. No heaven, no hell, just existing. She was with Aiden, watched Ryan, prepared Zoey, and let Cole know she was still there. Good ending.
Good point.
But There is God
she can be like that after shes lived
@@Boymarvel-bl4jg in your ass is a big wet god
@@Boymarvel-bl4jg well it's easy for Ellen Page to say all that stuff cause she's an atheist
Yeah but the one with Zoey, the little girl, I don't think Aiden comes back.
Bev Mac Aiden comes back, he just doesn't reveal himself.
Cameron Will some of your word are pew's :) (in good way)
Cameron Will I chose life as well, same reasons as you Cameron. I think it was a great game but there were moments that were really sad almost depressing. I saved everyone which I am happy about but I didn't know you could save Paul either until I read about it later :( oh well..do you have a game to suggest that is similar to this besides Heavy Rain that anyone can suggest?

I wish that there was an ending with Cole. It would be awesome.
Luna Plays I was thinking the same thing!COLE ENDINGG
I wish they did a season 2. The ending was like a friggin cliff hanger. all you see is Jodie looking at a black ball saying shes not scared of death anymore. Or in the Zoey route her daughter goes with her because Zoey's daughter also has an entity. But when Jodie died did she become Zoey's daughter's entity? IDFK I JUST CONFUSED MYSELF
Arianna Dunham Wait what, Zoey has a daughter!? I thought she is the daughter of Tuesday.
Not My Real Name zoey is Tuesday
How? Does Tuesday have a second nickname or something?
Not My Real Name zoey is actually her real name
The reason why people called her Tuesday is bcuz she told people that was the day she left home or something like that
How do you know, she never told us in the game.
Agreed!!!
I loved the Zoey ending!!!!
Realized how Aiden never show up in the Zoey ending... :(
+wednesday addams To be honest, Ryan was a dick to Jodie. I never forgot the moment he left her during the date when she had a flashback. Lmao.
I want an ending where she ends up with the 4 homeless and mentors Zoey, but Aiden comes back.
saaaaaamme omfg. It upset me so much when Aiden didn't come back :c but I guess he figured she didn't need to know he was still around
Jessica Swindale he's probably going to come back
floug472 it'd be cool if he did
they can't make a sequel if aiden's not here
I don't think he ever leaves her, he's always there right next to Jodie. She just can't hear of feel him anymore. He's always looking out for her, she's his sister, he loves her. All the crap they've been through. He wouldn't just abandon her. They just make it less obvious that he's there in the Zoey ending.
when she puts the picture on cole's grave mY HEART HURTS

One thing I know for sure: Quantic Dream will NEVER make a Sequel of their games
They definitely set this game up to where it would be possible to have a sequel… I mean come on… The last word she said
Connor RK800 nope.
Shut up ;-;
LOL that made me remember I'm still waiting for the Omikron sequel to come out, even if it doesn't have David Bowie (RIP)

Aiden is Jodie's twin brother.
FkLizard Squad Yes but he is also her friend. More her friend than her twin brother
+FkLizard Squad everyone fucking knows that, Jesus Christ.

I'm surprised that the Zoey ending is the best one. It's the only one that allows for hope in the vision of the future.
Unless you want to be with Aiden. Then just choose Ryan.
+Maud Pie or Jay, Zoey or alone 😁
SmileyGirly2000 Jay was just a character that appeared literally once. Ryan is an ass at first, but later Jodie actually likes him.
He's also the only character there to comfort Jodie when Aiden leaves.
Maud Pie
Ryan was an ass during the entire thing :/
(JK, lol)
So then Ryan and Jodie have a nice conversation, then they go.
(THEE AIND)
Plus, I can understand why Ryan is an ass. He's in the CIA, and his dad used to beat him up.
My favorite would have to be Everybody Lives: Jay especially when Aiden writes Still Here on the mirror :-)
In the Jay ending, I was expecting Aiden to also write "btw u guys were doin it wrong lol."
faeriebility lol
but still. why did Aiden leave Jodie alone for several months.
Darin Anderson probs to see how she would do without him
its best to choose ryan because they have a longer passed they try to self destruct the containment field and they do CIA hitman missions but all she does with jay is get rid of the indian curse on the desert, ryan and jodie are mean't to be because history keeps bringing them closer and closer.. also if u choose ryan it writes still here in the sand when they travel to a far away paradise.
It's odd that we always get two souls to end the game. It can't be nothing, I bet there's gonna be another game.
Ariiq Tsaqif I thought of the same thing lol

I really didn't like Ryan that much to begin with, that's why I let him have his eye gauged out by the asian interrogator...and then he had that eye patch, and gotdamn idk what it was about that eye patch but lets just say me and my sexy pirate sailed off into the sunset and made out on the beach. I never knew how hot eye patches could be. Best ending.
Ok so 37% of people chose Ryan, anyone else choose Ryan with 1 eye? jw lol
I chose and always like Jay more but Eyepatch Ryan was hotter lol
Alissa Roush lol totally agree. I felt much better after letting his eye get gauged out. An Eye for an Eye!
I cant breath hahaha that is psycotic I figured Id let Jodie take the high road and not let Ryan get stabbed to death or a missing eye. He was definitely a douche but he redeemed himself at the end I thought. Your comment has me *DEAD* though!

It was icing on the cake😊
I think the ending with jay is the best choice because Aiden never did anything to him. Jodie and jay had a really nice connection in my opinion.
I think it was because they never really "showed off" love, but with Ryan, it was very explicit that she wanted something with him
Idk. I choose Ryan, because with him she had a lot more connection than with Jay.
I chose Jay too, not just for him, but also because she had some of the best days of her life in that place. Finally happy and free, if you exclude the massive demon who wanted to kill everybody.
I chose Jay. She seemed happy there, she had a roof over her head, and she could be herself. They treated her like family.

You cant dislike this game
@@mikemajetzky8087 I liked it but I can easily see how someone wouldn't. You can't lose even if you try, most choices don't matter at all, the controls and camera are annoying, some levels were a slog, e.g. the burning levels, and even the story is a bit cliche, similar to stranger things. So obvious, deep inside I always knew.........
*The screen fades back in to reveal Jodie in front of a normal-looking apartment door.*
They took me in when I was alone.
*Ding dong!*
When all I could think about was dying.
Yeah I agree with you.. This game has a similarity in real life.. Like people cmon its not a fairytale or what
+Ad Astra My GF and I played this game together.
Denzel Porte ikr this year sucked. Infinite Warfare lol. But battlefield was good though. I like fucking bitches
Yuck
2007 will be always game year in history.
What a beautiful game, but they really hinted at a sequel which I think would ruin the point of this game. Would there be left to do? Just survive the apocalypse? And damn, Jodie dying was one depressing finale.
Then if that's the case then why would they even hint at a sequel if they will never make a sequel?
I don't think they will. It's one of those stories where you decide how it goes from their forming your own theories based on how you played. It's funner that way.
there's interviews with David Cage online. he's not making a sequel however there are DLC's for this game. he's not completely against making sequels in general however his main focus is creativity and i think he thinks that making sequels takes away creativity because it's like using the same ideas. that's why he didn't make sequels for Fahrenheit or Heavy Rain. both games feel like there could be a sequel, however there wont be one
Well the sequel never got done. It’s been 10 years
The Zoey ending, in my opinion, is the best ending.
This game is just phenomenal, and the production of the game was great too
So in order to get Jay ending you need to ignore Ryan? haha i never let that guy kiss Jodie, even Aiden doesn't approve him :D Hopefully i will get a good ending with Jay, too bad we didn't really get to know him that much and he is only in one chapter :( sucks, i really love the peaceful place they have there, i think its perfect for Jodie to start a new life
kalliskivike wen they kiss a little more happens if you know what I mean
kalliskivike Yeah I wanna smack Ryan from the first time he shows his face. Voice actor did a little too good a job, hahaha.

Holy shit the entity that's connected to zoey is jodie!!!?!? Am i correct?
awkward_potato Yes I am pretty sure too
I don't think they're actually linked, I think Zoey is just able to communicate with souls, and if Jodie dies, she chooses to speak to Zoey and guide her. I could be wrong though, just speculating.

we need to raise that comment!
Nice analysis of the different choices.

@@katymoran870 I dont think he was insane, but he became insane, he was so nice to Jodie
why does Aiden always wait to tell Jodie he's still there till after the sex.
Dude has a point
He watched the whole thing😟
lmfao
Either way, this place has potential for her ^-^
I didn't like how hard the game tried to push us towards Ryan. Aiden clearly didn't approve of him either, whereas towards Jay he had no aversion. I trust his judgement and my guts there, plus Ryan turned on us before. Forgive, yes, but don't forget.
Ok im not the only one wanting to see how Aiden looks right?
not that it matters... but its killing me to not know how Aiden looks like ;-;
edit:i mean how he would look like if he was alive..
It's just a black scribble
it showed what he looks like
me too
+GreenAsianBear
Nope, hes a human as we saw in the end...
+GreenAsianBear
Nope, hes a human as we saw in the end...
the ending with ryan and everyone living is the best ending by far. Although, in mine, when she's overlooking the dimensional rip, ryan was standing with me. Idk how I got that one but that was the best one imo.
The part with Zoey makes you think there's going to be a sequel. I wonder if they will ever do that.
My heart broke like 💔
BTW Like this reply if you cried
Or sad
Tony Nguyen I got this game! But yeah, it makes me cry whenever I play it. *sadness*
“I’ve died twice already… I’m not afraid of death anymore” gives me goosebumps every time I hear it
I would love a sequel but thanks to the internet and their cancerous bandwagon, I doubt we will ever see one. TellTale gets praise for their interactive narratives yet this one gets bashed for it. This is a beautiful game and told a fantastic story. It's a damn shame, really.
I love how you're saying that like it's fact.
Brandon MacLeod Re-read what I said multiple times to find any facts I may have stated, didn't find anything more than my opinion of it so...what are you on about, friend?
Jaziel Rivera
"but thanks to the internet and their cancerous bandwagon" as if we're apparently not supposed to bash it because you like it.
Brandon MacLeod As you wish, friend.
Troll alert.
What if every Jodie from every possible ending met each other? O.O
Exclusive jodie from first ending may be impossible i think
Weed
That would be so cool
Best ending is: Everyone Lives - Life - Ryan.
And worse and the most saddest ending is: Everyone died - Beyond )) OR Everyone died - Life - Alone.. :((
everyone died ?
Everyone lives --> Jodie rejects the "Infraworld"/Necropolis --> Jodie stays with Ryan
"...as if it never happened."
Pandora's box has opened.
Everyone dies --> Jodie accepts the "Infraworld"/Necropolis
"I continue to watch through your world..."
A terrible darkness will fall upon the land.
Haha kes siin head videod kuna uued?
Everyone died life 😢😢
Its better to let everyone die and let Jodie choose beyond so everyone can be togheter again :)
That's my favorite ending :) But my oh my, I hate seeing Ryan and Cole dieing!
BerryScary Monster Same
I think two of the homeless people and the baby live and jay and his bro tho
The Zoey scenes in every one of the endings is really not needed, we already have Jodie, we don't need another girl trying to take her spotlight
lol exactly
YS Goh so do i....
.
.
.
Thats what you wanted me to say?
I totally disagree lolol.
I don't know man Zoey's voice is really soothing...
But Jodie is like Zoey's Aiden so she basically gave Zoey her 'spotlight'.
I think Zoey was just put in it in case the developers ever wanted to do a sequel
#BeyondTwoFeels #TheFeelsOfUs my two favorite games on PS3
Hahaha
legotech300 Holy shit I know right?
legotech300 Yes!!
Same here. 😭
+Bill Cipher Fuck you Bill.
I always cry when you choose life and Aiden is gone. Always.
Charlatte I'd make her be alone torn into Peace's in the world like me
Same :)
I chose Zoey. No regrets. Those homeless were my favorite characters.
after seven years this game is still the only one that when i finish it i cry😢
awesome video.
0:50 Jodie Dies
10:43 Everyone Lives Life
21:31 Life Zoey
24:32 Life Jay
28:28 Life Ryan
33:47 Everyone Dies Beyond
40:04 Everyone Dies Life
46:30 Life Alone
49:53 Life Jay
53:16 Life Zoey
i wonder what will THAT DUDE get
I WOULDVE CHOSE JAY IDK WHY LOL I JUST THINK HE IS REALLY HOT BUAHHHAHAHAHAHAAHA
kawaii janelle In real life Ryan is hotter than Jay 😂 LOL
Eva Rajcsekova but both are hot af
Jay is way hotterrrrr
kawaii janelle ok Jay is totally hot but his ending seems boring to me. I mean what are you gonna do in the middle of a desert?
Fuck I guess...
Gosh DANG! The endings.. Powerful stuff. Thanks for uploading and sharing all the endings. If they are making a sequel to this game, it should definitely very interesting and probably way more intense.
I came here after watching The ending of byeond two souls from Kubz scouts...😢😢
Lmao so many people done this.. Me too.
Exotic Butter I thought that too😂😂
Yumi SAME
Yumi same!
same
my favourite is Ryan ending ,dont judge me.
Same.i feel like that was the best
I think I like "Everyone dies - Life - Alone" best. It does make for the most depressing ending (sorta) but it fits the game best I think.
(All in all I do think they made the endings too strict though; it's pretty much "choose one and don't give a fuck about anyone else ever again" ó_o Perhaps that's why I like "alone" best - at least you don't choose one in particular over *everyone* who lit up your life along the way... You also kinda get to stay alone with Aiden, so that's a plus ^^ )
Yes same thoughts
But I choosed everyone lives -life - alone🙃
We can just keep dreaming for Aiden to come back if there's a sequel for the Zoey ending.
I think Zoey ending is the best. Life goes on, Jodie.
Still sucks that there's no part 2 and perhaps never will be. One of the best games of 2013 with graphics that still hold up very well today.
I actually felt like the ending to stay alone was the best ending, plus Aiden comes back in that ending. It leaves this whole world of untold adventures to the imagination; as Jodie travels from place to place finding new stories and souls to help. That's always what's she's done in my mind - so it's the the most fitting,
Ryan and his fugly ass vest XD
I was honestly crying halfway and I love when everyone lives, I don't care who Jodie is with (except alone), I just feel uplifted when i found out Aiden was still with her.
The Zoey ending is the ending that makes most sense to me. If it had Ryan in it it would even be better, but it's a choice to make after all. The Jay ending makes the least amount of sense to me though. Why the hell would she choose to live with a random dude she knew like, 5 days
She only knew the homeless people for one day. So how does that make sense?
cartergirl3of3 she helped one of them give birth and saved them from a fire-
