I thought that at first, but I saw a good statistical breakdown of it. Late second round picks almost always amount to nothing, so the opportunity cost of the pick is extremely low. So basically, choose anyone you want, and picking your star's son is as good logic as anything (and as likely to amount to turn out successful). I thought that at first, but I saw a good statistical breakdown of it. Late second round picks almost always amount to nothing, so the opportunity cost of the pick is extremely low. So basically, choose anyone you want, and picking your star's son is as good logic as anything (and as likely to amount to turn out successful). That's not to say I like their pick, but the logic is sound.
