I saw Motley Crue during their Dr. Feelgood tour at the civic center. They were amazing then! I've decided that's how I want to remember them and have avoided recent tours through Ottawa.
Oh, you an Ottawa boy too? Ya, I'm too much of a concert whore to do what you did... LOL And yes, I remember when the Dr Feelgood tour came to Ottawa... I missed it (for the dumbest reason too)... if I remember correctly, the date was announced but it was during exams for HS... I know my mom would not have let me go during exams... turns out, my last exam was, let's say a tuesday... and Motley Crue came on the wednesday... FUCK! Oh well...

Yeah, for a band I don't usually listen to, The Tea Party usually give it their all live... always loved to see them live! Ya, Motley was whatever it was... I just needed a night out! :)

Good review I think with the right management, that young lady could go places. Nice to see Motley open with Primal Scream, great song to pump up the crowd. Like your comments on Metal Heads stinking. That's Rock n Roll bud. Here in Edmonton a majority of Metal shows a club show's. So sweaty n stinky is normal to me. Keep up the great work.
@@briansf7012 hahahaha. The B.O. smell was going to the show…. Not sure there was many metal fans there! Then felt like someone took a shit on the LRT. 😂. It smelled better in bars and those dont have good ventilation here in Ottawa! Thanks for watching and commenting! Go Oilers! 🤘🏻

Vince sounds horrible... just mumbling few words here and there, mostly out of tune and time. He's skipping words even in early 80's live recordings, but back then his timing was right and mostly he hit the notes perfectly. Of course he's 40 years older now, but he should be pro and this performance is so lazy and disrespectful for the fans who paid to see him.
Bruce, Rob and many others can still do it live, if Vince has no other interest than money he should be out of the band. I'm sure either of bands backing singers/dancers could do much better job as lead singer. And would be nicer to watch too.
LOL! Yip! That's what I been saying since the beginning... Mick Mars was NOT the problem... Vince was/is! And yes, he's very lazy and I'm glad I caught it on camera... live wasn't too bad, but recording sometimes hide the distortion and other sounds and you can hear his real voice... Thanks for stopping by!
I would pay to see the Tea Party (ok with JJ Wilde opening?) but that would never happen in Germany...
Would not pay a penny for Moetley Crue anymore...
Ya, let's call a spade a spade here... I just needed a night out, and what better way than to see the Crue (since the rest of the 2 week lineup did not interest me) :) And yes, Tea Party is ALWAYS good live... hope they go to Germany one day!
