This has to be the most comprehensive in depth car review i have ever seen from some one who not only delivers all the information about the car, but does it in a calm and concise manner, the detail is delivered with out a single snag and sometimes whilst driving, a tour de force presentation.

A very interesting review thank you. Before travelling a fair way to test drive one can I ask a crucial (to us) question please? Is it possible to have the front passenger and the drivers seat positioned in a very upright position so that your knees can be at least level with your hips (and with a wedge shaped cushion perhaps enable your knees to be a bit lower than your hips?) Due to back problems this can make a huge difference to our comfort. When driving a Ducato van at times the seat can actually be adjusted so that your hips are higher than your knees and that’s great. We find it nigh on impossible to get a car type vehicle with an ‘upright’ seat enabling sitting position with your body more at a 90 degree angle sitting down not slouched back in a more ‘bucket’ like position. Any advice and views on seating position with this Ritter (or indeed it’s opposition in the Citroen) would be much appreciated. Many thanks.

Borrowed one, and it was awesome! Im used to american trucks so telling me a tesla or a german suv is real tuff, u get me laughing. This is the perfect car for daily drives to kindergarten, work and shop for my wife. Getting one soon.

Just bought one second hand with 40k on the clock, had it three days and drove it from Europe to Ireland…
Plus: very good suspension, electronic gizzmos are not too difficult to understand fuel economy is excellent. Plenty of Load space. Thought about a Kangoo but this is way better after test driving both.
Minus: front seats are OK but not really fantastic, rear seats are awful, the stalks off the steering column are badly placed for cruise control (and whatever the one on the right does )- can’t see the damn things without turning the wheel. Bad, bad, bad design.

Are you in RoI? Did you get a RHD? It looks an interesting vehicle.

thanks for uploading this review. Its a much better looking car than its mechanically similar 'brothers' i just wish the rifter didnt have that big obstruction stupid central console. although less attractive overall the Shitron berlingo/vauxhall combo doesnt have this and feels much more spacious up front as a result... . ( good lord the vauxhall is ugly though)

The one thing this review as well as the Citroen and vauxhall models is the complete failure of the 1.2 wet belts causing catastrophic engine failure. A very good reason not to buy.so desirable but so flawed and the reviews should contain this data it’s freely available. I love these vehicles but the engines are awful, the diesels ruined by emissions and the petrol not fit for purpose
