Blackbeard also remarks when he grabs ace and hits him for the first time that it has “been a while since ace has been hit” which pre-timeskip could’ve been chalked up to his logia abilities. However, with context we realize that ace has been in the new world for the past two years where most fighters have at least basic armourment to hit logias with. This just lends credence to ace having good observation haki and/or even future sight.

Katakuri and the rest of the bigmom pirates was scared to do anything to a needed bigmom, while we have ace battling and damaging whitebeard. A weaker ace that fought blackbeard too. Katakuri stands no chance.

ace is lower yc1 level around katakuri imo, i see him beating commanders like queen, smoothie and cracker but loses to king, sabo, zoro etc

I personally have ace>kat his 🔥 could melt his mochi and in his novel it’s said he already has future sight and train arm haki with wb crew he also overpowered wb using his df in his sword in a clash while kat got overwhelmed by g4 bounceman arm haki i think ace overpowering wb is a better haki feat that getting thrown around by bounceman he’s is easily yc1 lvl before he died

Whitebeard gave Oden's position to Ace and Oden was able to down Kaido.
The positions in Whitebeards crew are based on role, not exactly strength.
Marco was first, but he was a doctor and always needed to be near pops.
There is one very crucial detail about Ace when he was at his execution.
Ace was kept at level 6 and we saw how those at level 1 to 5 were being treated.
He was not fully rested or had a proper meal for a long while before he was sent for the executution.
Akainu was peak form and Ace still speedblitzed and BLOCKED him.
You mention good details but if you notice before Ace sacrificed himself, you see Luffy pick up Ace’s vivre card which was still a full sheet of paper meaning by that point Ace’s returned to regular condition.

I can understand if it’s the same Yamato from 4 years ago but Jimbei being as strong as wano from 4 years ago really?
Jinbei doesn’t show anything that would sugget he would have grown stronger. By the time of the Ace fight Jinbei had been a Warlord for at least 7 years. I think Jinbei is only growing post Wano due to being with the Straw Hats that always get stronger as they travel and do battle.

Let’s not forget that Ace was at 10 health and 20% power in Marineford, he was clashing with Aokiji and Akainu while on the brink of his life. A fully rested healthy Ace would have a much better showing
His vivre card tells a different story.
When he was in prison it was small and burning up, but when it falls on the ground at marineford it looks like normal again.
The manga adaptation do not have everything in the ace novel zage you have a link to the original/story.

Ace is the most wasted character and the biggest disappointment in all of one piece Even arguably the most wasted potential in all of fiction. (This is just my humble opinion so please don't crucify me)

Yamato did grow stronger Because she said in her fight against hybrid kaido that everytime she fought and lost against him she grew stronger unless you think in those 4 years she didnt try to fight kaido once what is considering Yamatos personaly and Determination dumb also Yamato does most likely train in her free time

@@zagessj agree, but the fact that other captains who are narrativly implied to be inferior if not even Directly said by oda(im not sure i think it was on a manga pannal of the vice captains where he then said in sbs he chosses them by strength) able to press Holding back fujitora and greenbull is impresive,he also was able to press fujitora the first time he used his devil fruit later we saw him training. And then survive and escape the gorosei and imu despide getting jumped

1, low bounty
2, said to be only as strong as a division or a small boat commander by ben because of his ideals
3, im very confident theres also a databook statement with marco and jozu being implied to be stronger than ace. not sure if vista was there or not though. i'll have to find it.
Bounty reflects nothing and things said shouldn’t directly contradict someone’s feats. Current Chopper has a bounty of what 150? So does that mean he’s weaker than alabasta luffy? No, he’d one tap him and don’t let me get started on all the people who think buggy is stronger than mihawk and crocodile when they both dog walk him in private💀
