I find it hilarious cuz Doflamingo could easily escape in Shiki's fashion and quite literally fix his legs. And only thing Doflamingo misses to equal or beat Cracker/Jack is improving his haki.
This shouldn't even be a debate. Doffy couldn't even bare G4 punches. Katakuri can which puts his durability above Doffy. Katakuri also has better armament & advanced observation.
I feel like the fight goes relatively evenly despite Katakuri having better feats just because Odas fights are usually vibe checks. Crocodile vs Akainu for example
I've always found it weird that Paramecia devil fruit awakenings are able to affect the enviorment and not Logia awakenings, since Logia fruits usually represent natural elements. Stil sticking to my guns that a Logia awakening is what Enel did with his big Amaru form. I can't think of anything else that could be a Logia awakening.

dont forget katakuri also has a rifle which he can use armament coated mochi bullets. he used this against luffy, he can use it against doffy combined with his future sight for accurate shots. i would like to see katakuri spar with nika luffy, also in the final war give us all the first commanders , zoro, king, katakuri , marco, benbeckman teaming up together

This is utter facts. Doffy struggled with a base luffy while katakuri was so strong he forced luffy to level up in every way possible future sight and his base armament haki bloomed.
Katakuri wasn’t berserk in that moment and I did think of that counter to the Birdcage but I thought if Sabo (a logia user) probably couldn’t go through it then neither could Katakuri.

Other than that, Doflamingo couldn't react and overpower Gear4 Luffy who also wasn't in ''fresh'' state. Doflamingo was using his power for birdcage and fixing himself, but there is no proof that if he would focus mainly on Luffy he would be able to do more than just taking hits and stalling Luffy with awakening. In fact, birdcage was his probably best bet to win whole battle. He wouldn't be able to take on Gear 4 Luffy in fair battle, so he just wanted to win by time limit. In terms of overall Power, Dressrosa G4 Luffy was superior than Doflamingo. He was able to overpower and outspeed him whole time. So, yea. In 1v1 you could argue that Doflamingo could somehow stretch and win the battle by stalling all the time (Unless Luffy would just go with King Kong Gun straight at him. Lets saay you brake your leg with the time the leg will heal but the damage is already done or no? Why do you say overpowered doffy? Even tho luffy got stronger and faster he still couldn't keep up with doflamingos awakening. yes luffy was not fresh but the damage of doflamingo was way higher and also dont forget the birdcage which 100% is draining doflamingo ( even tho its not stated if you use your df ofcourse it uses energy especially abilities like that(for example kaido lifting onigashima) this is true g4was faster and stronger but couldn't finish the job bz g4 had limits .
