Yeah, I’m going to need another video like this for fall style/weather time to prep for my trip to Europe 😊😂 Do you know of any websites where you can electronically build a capsule wardrobe then buy the missing pieces?
I dont, but I always lay my things out for trips in advance, like mine coming up in fall too! Start with bottoms and work your way up, but it will be less items with heavier clothes! I’ll do many more, I promise!

Would love to see a packing video for a port intensive 7 day cruise. Going on a cruise in feb that goes to 5 tropical ports. Leaving in winter. I am not new to cruising but I always tend to over pack.
Sounds good! To help me- what are you planning on doing on the excursions? Snorkeling? Beach relaxing? Zip lining? Seeing the ports and shopping?
@@ItsTheKellys two beach days, one catamaran trip and one day visiting mud baths, waterfalls and snorkeling. The 5th excursion we haven’t decided on. Virgin voyages so no formals nights only extras are something red and something gold and nice pjs for pj party

How supportive is that bra? I'm always on the lookout for good ones, but I wear a 38GG in most UK brands, so I need a fair amount of support, to keep things from getting achy.
I’m definitely more of a sports bra girl than a cup/wire girl, so I love it and it feels good on my 40c (us size) but I’ve heard mixed reviews from women depending on their preferences. I need to film something on it soon to show :)

I saw a (ridiculously overpriced) swimsuit on Instagram that would be amazing for this kind of trip, it’s a super high waisted bottom and the top is 2 separate pieces and all 3 are reversible, plus a tie. So you have so many looks with one suit

Thanks for the video! Would you mind weighing everything well all is said and done? I struggle with the 7kg cabin weight limit on most international flights.
It was 21 pounds total (I pack it in Saturdays video) but I have to pack a lot of filming gear. I’ve only had one airline ever weigh my bag internationally! But if I knew one was going to weigh, I’d change some things.
The Tripped packing cube is nice, but a review compared the size to the Peak Design medium cube, which I think is too big, and I never use it. Peak Design's cube is a single compartment so I may experiment because maybe I can put all of my clothes in the single cube like you did. I do not take many clothes when I travel and they are all interchangeable. I will experiment with the PD cube, and see if I can use your packing system with it. If it works, then I can see investing in the Tripped cube. Their toiletries bag is already my go-to, the best designed toiletries bag that I have.
This one is a little taller/deeper than my regular medium packing cubes, but does really well. I do like the separate compartments! I don’t have the peak design ones, but if I ever do, I’ll review them.
Can you do a travel capsule wardrobe video with the colors black and purple
I actually only own one purple piece, and its a dress that I will be packing on my next trip. If you wanted to do black and purple, I would try to incorporate another color in there, and a pattern or 2.
If I ever buy more purple one day, I'll be happy to make that example, but I don't think its a color that looks best on me, personally.

We travel often and I have recently started to take photos of my bag contents in order to streamline my next pack. Unfortunately I can’t travel as light as you but maybe I will get there someday 🤣. I cracked up when you said that the gold metallic on your sandals makes them “dressier” as I would totally have the same thought😉.
I think sometimes we really need to evaluate what we wore/used and what we didn’t end up touching! I can’t wait to update you guys when I get back!

Perfect timing! I have a trip in September to Hawaii and love your tips! I would love to go to Bora Bora. Hope you have a lovely time. I got the JuJu Be Set so I can use them as pouches and a purse. Right now I'm struggling through mineral reef safe sunscreen and shoes.
To be honest, I was barefoot most of the time or in my croc flip flops (the black ones) and I never wore the other shoes.
Buy the reef safe sunscreen there. They have so many more options than at home!

Love the dresses you picked. I noticed all clothes are of a non-wrinkle variety. That makes them easier to pack as they are of a thinner fabric. Easier to hand wash too.

Do you normally wash clothes in the sink to rewear or ok to just rewear . I am aware that it depends on how sweaty you get . Cause I normally pack soap or detergent with me and when I tell people they think I am mad that I am hand washing on my holiday xxx great video can’t wait to see it all packed

I’m on the last day of my trip now and the only things I washed were underwear and swimsuits. Everything else I re-wore, especially to change into a shirt after the beach. Most of the time, I was in a bathing suit and sarong!
I always debate packing cubes or no packing cubes. I have the BÉIS carry on…….and packings hats.

Love your videos! Just got my Monos Carry on for a 2 month trip to Italy and Greece. A few questions; have you used their packing cubes? Like or dislike? Are the packing cubes used in this video the ones you prefer? Why don't you use compression cubes for everything? I know this is a lot, but do you have a video that helps pack for hot and cooler weather? I'll be in Northern Italy in October.
I have a whole playlist on packing cubes and have featured theirs twice. Dislike. I don’t love compression cubes in general because they are harder to fit in the luggage by taking all of the air out and are wonky in shape once compressed, and holds less in my opinion.
I need to do a dual weather packing video. I’ll add it to the list. Everytime I’ve done it, it’s been extreme. When I pack for cooler weather, I tend to pack very minimally.

I’m looking for the best personal bag option in terms of space as I’m trying to pack for a 3 week International trip in just a carry on + personal bag… I’m currently in between the beis mini weekender, underseat pro & the calpak luka duffle… which one do you think would fit the most amount of stuff? I would love if you could make a video of the best personal item bag comparison if possible 🥹 I know a lot of ppl care for size for frontier/spirit but I’m curious for those of us who don’t fly them and want a spacious personal bag what our best option would be? I will be doing one of those soon actually, it’s just very very hard to rank the best when it really depends on your airline and how you pack.
Some people pack a personal item to fit more clothes in them, and therefore some sort of duffel/weekender would be good.
I always pack electronics and plane essentials in mine and so a duffel or weekender is way too big for me, and I prefer backpacks.
However, most international airlines would never allow something so big, so a small backpack is the smartest to use.
When I talk about take off or underseat pro, you can use those in addition to your carry on, of course, but only on domestic airlines that allow it. Those would never be allowed as personal items in europe or Asia or anywhere else.

@@ItsTheKellys Ah makes sense.. I’ll be flying Korean air to South Korea. I’ve traveled with them before plenty of times with a kipling large backpack that fits my laptop so I’m not sure how big the difference is dimensions wise but the underseat pro doesn’t seem too big… I don’t own any of the mentioned luggages though so you’d probably know which one is the best size wise!
Most important key features for me are a trolley sleeve so I can attach comfortably to my carryon and ample space to pack clothing/a pair of shoes - I don’t plan to take my laptop or any other heavy electronic equipment - ideally I’d want to avoid backpack types as I already own several and I don’t like having to dig too deeply for stuff, also I have a bad back and it’s just more of a hassle than ideally I’d want to deal with. In the past I usually took a checked luggage which is why I never minded before but now I’m trying to concise to just personal/carry on and I need the best bang for my buck!

As of now, I’m completing my bucket list that does not include the US. Eventually, I’ll travel through the US and Alaska. I hear it’s amazing and that a cruise is the best way to do it, and a balcony is a must :)
I’d love a video on an Alaska cruise, especially in cooler weather. We’re going in September and I want to do a carryon and personal item only. Maybe I’m overthinking it but I think it’s going to be a struggle with all the excursions and weather. All the warm puffy items needed to stay warm and bring plus-sized, I think it’s going to be a challenge.

I don't think, you have enough of different style tops. Only colors. Not different style tops. You only have skinny tank tops with no style. I think I saw 1! Purple top that was different. No t shirts. Or stylish tops.
I think the video is to show how to create and pack a capsule wardrobe. Lauren packed her own style for a tropical trip - you would pack your own style. The important part is to make sure everything matches each piece, to give you so many outfit options. I always pack a capsule wardrobe, my only problem is that I wear a lot of linen and it needs to be folded or packed well to avoid wrinkles. I love your content Lauren. 🇦🇺
Because the style of the top doesn't matter except for it to match with all the bottoms. That being said, if you had all voluminous bottoms it would make sense to have straighter cut tops or if you had all voluminous tops then it would make sense for your bottoms to be a straight cut
It was way too hot on the islands to wear a t-shirt. The only tshirt I packed was for the plane, I wore tank tops every single day. I like to think there was style…
