Overworld Reprise now with brass (second Overworld), makes it feel more impactful. Also reflects journey in-game, you go from Overworld, to Underground, and get a star, and back to the Overworld.

That boss theme really brings me back to getting my ass kicked by that floating hawk head that chases you around the level
I was wondering why the boss theme sounded like a zelda oot boss, 3 hours found out that both games are made from the same composer.
less than 30 seconds in and I was compelled to open an emulator and start playing mario bros 2.

Omg all these musics and arrangements are so good. I always watch these videos just to learn and observe how ya’ll arranged it. Very phenomenal and I was wondering what software you’re using because I’ve been using musescore and music studio. They aren’t bad it’s just the instruments way too computer like. I tried finding sound fonts but they aren’t that good. Please help and thank u!!:)
He's using Finale to make the score and the Cinesamples libraries for the mockup. I'm not sure if he loads the libraries directly in Finale (something that Musescore can't do yet) or if he does the mockup in a DAW, but I would bet on the former.

I wonder why the harp's notation is written on both the treble and the bass staffs in measures 243-251? The notes don't deviate a lot from either staff even if you'd just stay on either one of the two staffs and used ledger lines instead. Is that a standard way of writing harp notation? Cause the piano that follows on measure 252 does use ledger lines in the middle, but I'm guessing that's just to indicate which hand to use.
Doens't really matter, but personally I think it looks funny and would be easier to read on one staff only but well, that's just personal preference... The arrangement is awesome though.!
