My friend actually has written some Celeste orchestral arrangements as his graduation concert with Lena Raine’s blessing that was to be performed by a symphony orchestra in Sweden, but I’m not sure if it got postponed due to corona.
That sounds like it would be amazing, congratulations to your friend! It must be incredible hearing something like this performed live. It's unfortunate with the bad timing, though. Do you have any updates on whether they were able to go through with it before things took a turn for the worse?

Jaden Deegan have you studied any classical orchestrations? I would suggest you get Samuel Adler’s book on orchestration and study some classical scores. Try to copy the instrumentation from a piece that you like but with another theme/melody, and plan the main parts of your piece as a piano redeuction (doesn’t need to be playable, but all themes and harmonic information should be there). Then you can just paste different “piano” parts to different instrument groups and harmonise in instrument pairs.

I'm not gonna complain, but I was hoping one of the mirror temple tracks would be included. I feel like that has some pretty good symphonic potential, but seriously! This is so incredible, and criminally underviewed T-T I stimmed so intensely at Reach for the Summit, and I almost cried, it was just so overwhelming. My only issue with this is the ad placement, I understand that videos need to pull in money but the ad placement really broke the flow of the music. I think it would have been much better to have the ads at the beginning and end of the video, I wouldn’t object to that. Save for my issue with the ads, this is an absolutely glorious video, and a true treat for the heart and ears of Celeste fans like me

Arvid Olson I use Musescore to arrange video game tracks the same way as him. But damn it’s really hard.
