Me, whose only Zelda I've played besides ToTK was Twilight Princess and never really cared about it that much since I'm more Sony-leaning anyway: *uncontrollable poker face*
I remember being sooooo confused, scared and upset cleaning off the statue in Zora’s domain so when I saw “Mipha’s Court” spear on screen and saw the statue I was soooooo happy
the people that claim the music is "gone" from Zelda need to take a second to take off their nostalgia glasses and properly sit down and listen to the music. Yes, it's different, doesn't mean it's gone
The Construct Factory was one that truly made me stop and just listen. I was so used to the Depths being so empty, so to hear something so pretty down there was breathtaking.
Honestly, the Light Dragon theme is so great because the other dragon theme already sounded sad. They both give off a sense of longing. So finding out what what that longing is, plus the distortion in the lgiht dragon theme made me cry so damn hard. These grand beasts are the reminants of a great civilization, yet they can't even understand that.
This Video made me realise how little attention I pay to the really magnificent soundtrack. The only one I really noticed, was the heart container sound when it floats down to you after defeating a boss.
4:09 the crying right as Revali's theme kicks in is so real 4:46 LMFAO THE FRANCE FLAG IS CRAZY 9:44 the ones where the clips sync to the music like that are the best 12:07 you can't just use this clip man my heart can't take this--
Mipha's Court reminds me of how much Sidon loved his dear sister and looked up to her when he was small. Meeting Link again and naming him hiw best friend as they fought together just really felt like he was able to reconnect with his sister again since Link lived in a time when he knew Mipha as well.
Non Debatable Top 5: 1. Demon Dragon (The part where the blood moon rises is just wow) 2. Imprisoning War (The moment with the rauru and main theme combination was one of the best in the game) 3. Main Theme (Gotta be on there) 4. Epilogue (Nostalgic) 5. Sidon (Just so good. Reminds me of BOTW in the best way possible) All in all best soundtrack in any Zelda game besides Skyward Swords imo edit: Kinda forgot colgera but I dont think I would rate it higher than sidon (havent played WW yet sadly) Also im not cunting Trailer 3 (would probably be first because this trailer hyped me like nothing has ever before)
Imma be honest, I was not expecting to be so emotional about the epilogue part showing the entire legacy that led up to this part. God I'm so glad I got to experience at least a bit of this franchise!!!
My ex-friend played TotK before BotW, and complained hard about the learning curve (I kept telling her that it wouldn't be as bad if she'd just played BotW first), she was super proud of herself when she beat a set of Gloom Hands for the first time. The scream I heard when she got yeeted into a second bossfight was absolutely hilarious.
man, that final montage you put together for the epilogue... i didn't anticipate that I was going to get teared up from the epicness. what a vid. what a stud of a soundtrack
100% agree, TotK has one of the best soundtracks of any game I've ever played, easy the best in the whole series for me personally. The only other OST that comes close in my opinion is the Ori and the Will of the Wisps soundtrack.
The story is so ass and there is zero continuity from botw which is so disappointing. But on basically every other metric, it's one of the best games ive ever played. Mechanically it's so creative and deep, there is so much content, the OST is breathtaking, there is so much to explore, the game is stunning...I love this game a lot
The colgera boss song makes me think of that one Naruto movie I’ve seen, something of Galel, or whatever; and the zora waterworks makes me think of Ferngully and the sounds of the rainforest.
I listen to BOTW / TOTK music multiple hours a day along with those from older titles. I only use them for background music while I do stuff, but my god, without those musics my day would be so boring.
I thought this channel was just a dream!!!!!!!!!!! I’m so happy that a new video was made, it’s made me realize reality again !!!!!!! Thanks Pixelguy9!!!!!!!!
Mipha's Court is a masterfully written piece of bgm. It really feels like old grief. So much else about totk's score is incredible but I think that's a little musical moment that deserves more attention
Me, whose first Zelda game was Wind Waker, hearing Colgera’s theme for the first time: *uncontrollable sobbing*
Me, whose only Zelda I've played besides ToTK was Twilight Princess and never really cared about it that much since I'm more Sony-leaning anyway: *uncontrollable poker face*
Fr tho I’ve never played Windwaker and I still felt like my self from another universe who did play it was smiling at me
real
Honestly WW was hardly my first. ALTTP was. But goddamn between it and BoTW as I fell in love with the Rito? Same
Oh man the overwhelming emotion sent me through a Rollercoaster.
I got to the Mipha court one and my sister just stopped what she was doing and was like "ooooohhh"
See I got there and broke down mentally 👍👍😉
@@-Chaotic-Creations- Same here, this game makes me cry like no other game has

@@RGamePlayXtreme honestly though.
The sky music so damn peaceful shit makes me ascend
Nice joke lol
You should hear the dragon head island theme it’s so peaceful
“Extend out your right arm”
Missed opportunity to put the Shrine Battle theme. That one is always a vibe.
Prob my favorite
Yes
Yummers Yummers
Dragon head Island is an absolute banger. I could listen to it for days.
As in the part in colgera battle in its 3rd phase?
Stop the depths one was too funny✋😭
For real lmao
For reaaaallll😭❤
the people that claim the music is "gone" from Zelda need to take a second to take off their nostalgia glasses and properly sit down and listen to the music. Yes, it's different, doesn't mean it's gone
There isn't a single Zelda game with a bad OST, and I don't think that statement should be controversial in the slightest.
@@Pixelguy9Zelda CDI had questionable music.
It's so unique and immersive. So beautiful.
@@evice Are we really going to count that monstrosity?
@@Pixelguy9Accurate 😂
Frozen Rito village is underrated.. the actual theme behind extremely somber instrumentals feels so ominous

LOVE the creative touch with Epilogue
Agreed 👍
i did cry a bit, not gonna lie.
Yeah that final trailer sax solo just HITS
Sadly it wasn't in the game itself :(

4:21 COLGERA BATTLE
In my opinion second best boss music in Tears of the Kingdom
1st is Master kohga
I really appreciate that you actually timed the clips to the songs, the depths one was so funny.
This Video made me realise how little attention I pay to the really magnificent soundtrack. The only one I really noticed, was the heart container sound when it floats down to you after defeating a boss.
Laughing so hard at the "enter the depths" and "the final trailer" bits.
The Construct Factory bit is actually so real cause I've full on sobbed to that exact part of the song before
BRO MASTER KHOGAS THEME 2:48
W theme
It’s such a vibe
narutoooo???
The “Final Arc” from when you drop into hyrule castle chasm to when you save zelda i swear has the best buildup music and atmosphere i have ever seen.
Oh no Tulin's French
You mean oh YES *insert evil honhonhon*
These are so accurate
Especially the falling ones, my brain immediately thought of those memes during my playthrough
Please tell me that SOMEONE else heard splatoon music during the kogha fights
It kinda sounded like a fight theme in naruto too
I gotta say I’m the biggest fan of the Rito soundtracks. Most elegant and majestic tracks.

All the music from the Rito area goes so hard and for what?
THE LAST PHASE OF APPROACHING THE WIND TEMPLE WHERE YOU’RE DIVING THROUGH THE CLOUDS GOES SO HARD
demon king? secret stones? the imprisoning war?
Come
so that was the imprisoning war...
3:29 god I love this song so damn much, its so pretty
Colgera's theme single handedly made me replay wind waker and the imprisoning war is the closest i have ever been to crying because of music
Zelda: …warm loving embrace…
Me: 😭
Link: 🙂
It's criminal that Link's smile was kept off screen when she said that.
No longer is my world full of despair, the grass is greener, thank god for pixelguy9 !!
