    mourinho has been proven right time and time again, zlatan wasn't bad at barca but could have been a legend if he stayed at inter

      @@blue_red_screen Eto'o was one of key elements why Inter won treble tbf, before that Inter much like too centered serving Ibra at front rather than focusing more on teamplay, not to mention if Ibra stayed then Milito (Another key element) probably won't have much time to play since he was plotted as Ibra's vice at that time..
      The addition of Eto'o, Milito, Lucio, and Sneijder along with Mourinho's magic what make that happen, Inter played more as a team and the result doesn't lie, so i doubt if Ibra stayed at Inter the result would be the same, but yeah who knows..

      @@tommyvercetti3263 He never said that. He said they weren't good enough to get into the starting 11 of Chelsea at that time which if you look at the Chelsea team then...he was right. Obviously both of them massively improved but it took them going to Wolfsburg and Roma for 3-4 years to become what they are today.

    One of the greatest defensive shows of all time was by that Inter against Barca I the semifinals. I’m a Barca fan but the defense organized by Mourinho in that game was like art.

    That inter side was ridiculous. 3 goals conceded in 7 cl knockout games. Even barca under pep could only score 2 goals in 180 minutes with 11 vs 10 advantage for most of the 2nd leg

      @@MichaelScott69 utd 07 08 conceded 2 goals in the knockout phase but they looked a bit weaker defensively than inter. Atletico 2014 and 2016 were also very solid defensively but got tired vs real madrid and lost the other final on penalties

      Hey, least he won a European cup :D!!!!..
      "....europa league title..." lol that's got to hurt him that he will never be able to say he reached the pinical of the European stage no matter how hard he tried.
      And YES he will most definately go down as one of the greatest players ever to not have won the champions league. He's in that group with the likes of R9 Ronaldo. So i hope he takes comfort knowing that even a player, several levels better and more legendary than ibra could ever hope to be, also never got his hands on it. BUT R9 has a wonderful come back to anyone who says such a thing to him and that's "..nope, I havent. BUT I've won the world cup.." And that trophy and honour just eclipses anything else so he ultimately wins the arguement. All zlatan can say is "..yeah but I have a handful of French league championships instead..
      " doesn't quite have the same ring to it lol and the French league is so poor that it would actually probably be better not to mention his league title wins as it's like the equvillent of saying "I've won the Scottish league title 10 years on a row" it's meaningless lol

      I think it was Pep's fault as a manager. If you pay 70mn + Eto'o for a striker, you need to make sure that the striker fits into your system and other players (aka Messi) dont cause issues later on. Nonetheless, Ibra scored 16 goals in 29 matches, just as same as Suarez scored in his 1st season.

      he was great at barcelona. the first half of the season, he was looking like the transfer of the summer. we got cristiano kaka alonso benzema....cristiano was playing well, but had an injury in a champions league game after a bad tackle. kaka was not great, benzema was awful, alonso was very good, but with his role, it wasnt really pronounced. ibra was great for them and then something happened and pep decided to start benching him during the second part of the season. after a game against i think arsenal in the champions league second round

    As an interista I think that him leaving was the reason we won as the way we played changed completely from him wanting to be the centre of everything to a more united team where a forward could be a forward and midfielder rather than one very talented but equally confused player trying to be both

    Zlatan could have won the CL with Milan in 2007, because of the calciopoli he is looking for a transfer away from Juve and Milan has already agreed terms with him and just because he didn't want to wait for the verdict of the calciopoli he went to Inter and Milan won next season. Then at Inter he went to Barcelona and Inter won the CL. And because of his ego is too big for Camp nou he missed out on winning the CL with Barcelona next season again.

    They have a great relationship respect from to alpha men.     Ibra ditching Intermilan was a blessing in disguise .
    Eto'o n Milito were soldiers n also they were team players unlike Ibra who is all talk talk talk n demanding.
    That season Mourinho had managed to assemble a perfect lineup with Milito, Cambiasso, Zanetti, Sneider.
    And if you doubt it then check wat happened to Argentina at that worldcup wen they decided to drop the players at Intermilan

    I remember reading a football magazine in 2010, one of them calling Ibra's move to Barca as a total blunder, because "Eto'o won the Champions League and played in the World Cup, Zlatan did neither".

      You mean Eto'o, Milito's transfer already being decided even before Zlatan left, he was transferred to Inter along with Motta at May while Zlatan left the club at nearly the end of July..

    Mourinho's character is a big problem. When the team's performance is good, it will be covered up, and when the team's performance is bad, it will be exposed completely. His personality makes it difficult to get along with people.I think he should lead with 11 robots that won't get tired.Pogba is actually a simple big boy.

    Hot take......Zlatan is and always was overrated. He's a top player. Nowhere near one of the greats. With his size and ability he should have conquered the world. Haaland will be twice the player.
