I can’t imagine doing this in nyc. Crazy. I guess if you grew up there it must be not too bad. I would be a fish out of water, I’m from the country lol I’m used to delivering in the mountains with no cell service
Question, my friend stacked and prepared mansions for wealthy people in florida and one time he had to order 5k worth of water in glass bottles from amazon, what would amazon drivers in nyc do if that happened?
8 months in I can honestly say I like the job it definitely has its bad days where it’s busy and ya truck is packed from front to back but I like being on the road alone no supervision u fully dictate how long your going to take when your working so honestly it’s never too bad for me one thing I dont like is they really isn’t any incentive for finishing your tasked efficiently and fast besides being able to go home early and tbh they start to give u more of a work load the more they see u can handle a lot but other than tht smooth sailing ⛵️ currently out with a work injury but I’ll be back around mid July early august
@@rah2flyful word I just applied for the East NY one so sounds valid form what you’re saying then. I know it won’t be hard for me I’ve done construction before.
I used to work like 5 hours a day I personally wasn’t making money maybe it was because of the dsp I was working for but now I work for FedEx and it’s paying me better
I couldn’t imagine delivering in a place as packed as NYC. Especially Manhattan.

Thank you so much!!!!
My usual stop counts are 140-180. 42 would be so light but I’m sure it’s a lot of group stops
42 stops omg.. lucky guy..my nursery route had 3 times those stops

Half of the order will be broken!!!
So what’s the distance to follow a car on the freeway Without getting dinged from the camera? I know on normal roads you just stay a car length back
So basically we used to just stay local from where the warehouse is we never had to use the highway
@@Cookingwithjohn23 got it yeah rn in local because I just started at a new dsp
Damn you walk a lot to get to the front door. In the bay area we double park ha
Yes the blocks were long
Do you need to know how to park the van or you can just pull over?
Both but mostly pulling over
does amazon drivers deliver in mailbox or doors does it depend how small the package is so they deliver in mailbox
Yes it depends how small the package is Amazon also have amazon hub lockers that we could drop off packages too
@@Cookingwithjohn23 ok tnx
