She knew what she was doing. It was deliberate and sadistic. She kept going while she saw the terror in their faces. She was tormenting them on purpose. It's absolutely infuriating. She should never be allowed near children again.
Trick-or-treating when I was growing up we had this one guy in the neighborhood who’s brain must’ve had faulty wiring, he wore a super gory jester costume every year and played this “game” where he used sleight of hand to pretend to be stealing candy from one kid’s bag to give it to the other kid while over-acting creepily. We all know how possessive young children are naturally at that age & I’m pretty sure he traumatized every child on the block. To this day I fantasize about going out on Halloween as an adult and ripping his dumb gross mask off, stealing all his candy before kicking him square in the nuttysack
I used to have a Michael Myers outfit and my sister had a kid who was like 3 or 2 and when he would act up she didn’t want to hit him so she would tell me to wear it and just stand at the outside window and stare at him… that’s what I did and if he continued to misbehave she would say “if you don’t behave the Michael Myers will come “ and he would start acting right lol But all I would do is stand at the window and when he saw me he would run and that’s it. Looking back at it Im not proud of it, but if my sister told me to do the shit these day care workers did to the damn kids I would refuse that’s just excruciating. Imagine just prolonging such a harsh treatment, October is for spooky stuff I get that but kids shouldn’t be punished for it. I am grown up now and have a niece who hates Halloween because it’s too scary for her. This shit is really traumatizing to kids and should not be done to the extreme or at all. I know that now that I’m older and we need to be better than this. Glad they fired these workers, this shit was extreme. Scaring kids isn’t a good tactic, even if they used my tactic like “if you don’t behave the ghost will get you” and they would have the mask there at a window that shit would still fuck with a kid psychologically. (My situation was different because we are family compared to a damn daycare you give your kids) but I digress… Kids won’t forget that, we need to do better.
I have one memory of when I was a young kid trick or treating with my dad, and there was a guy dressed up and scaring people, but avoided directly scaring me and the other young children. because thats an obvious asshole move to do??? its common sense really
as a preschool teacher for 3 and 4yr olds I cannot even begin to comprehend why someone would do this. kids this age are terrified of cartoon monsters half the time, this is beyond cruel.
I thought it was pretty funny. White kids are soft I guess. I teach English in a primary school in Vietnam and this shit wouldn't faze those kids, they're more worried about getting smacked with a ruler.
I work in a daycare and yesterday we decided to surprise them with those inflatable dinosaur costumes, since they loved dinosaurs and their art project was themed around them. Half were excited to see it and the other half were terrified. As soon as we saw that, we explained and showed them that it was just a costume and that they knew the person in it. They were able to calm down after that but we all felt terrible for scaring the kids unintentionally. If the kids were scared of that I can’t even imagine any of them going through this! This broke my heart and angers me how anyone working around kids would even think this was a good idea. I truly hope they NEVER get to work around kids again.
@@K3vin_L She can work else where away from any children, it's pretty obvious that she shouldn't be anywhere near them. The whole point of this job is to care for and keep the children safe, not terrify them just for your own entertainment. It wasn't her first time doing this either according to what was said in the video and she would have probably done it again if she weren't caught.
I work at a daycare, and this is absolutely horrific. Making the kids feel safe and comfortable is a top priority. Especially when a lot of them have a difficult time dealing with separation anxiety from their parents. This was literally so painful to watch.
This is true. I worked at a daycare also and I'll walk in with the v mask, from V for vendetta AKA anonymous mask. and the kids were horrified and I just walked in saying hi. I kept having to take the mask off after pictures with the one's that weren't afraid.
As a parent to hear a child so scared that they scream for their mommy when she's nowhere around, and probably believing that her child is safe and happy at daycare, is kind of heart wrenching.
I saw on the news, one mom had multiple kids at that daycare. She spoke about how her normal, healthy, average kids, are now terrified of everything. The amount of trauma this one lady put onto these poor children is so saddening. I couldn’t imagine being the parent to any of those children.
@@imperialbagel hard to overstate how important these developmental years are to a child's personality and well-being. Wouldn't doubt this incident changed most of these kid's lives. My 3 year old daughter's uncle once made a sudden scary noise and she started crying. That was nothing like the prolonged cruelty in this video. He saw that he scared her and immediately apologized knowing that he messed up. She is very social but timid in some ways. She still doesn't fully trust him months later, plus now she has an unhealthy fear of other men. Even if they are just passing by while her whole family is around when she should know she's safe.
My morbid curiosity has led me to see some really sad, brutal and heartbreaking videos from the war in Ukraine. This was a lot tougher for me. I just couldn't watch this and had to skip the clips. I don't really get moved by anything, I'm pretty jaded. But this made me want to cry. Those poor kids, I don't feel ok...
As a daycare teacher, this is terrible for so many reasons. But to make it worse, these kids were eating lunch with their cots out meaning the teachers were supposed to put them to nap right after this. I bet they turned the lights off and let the kids have insomnia or nightmares. This is disgusting and makes me want to cry.
When I was young, my mum would often turn off the lights, lift up my blanket, and tickle my feet while making a "funny" noise. I hated being tickled, plus i couldn't shield my feet from her with the blanket because she would yank it off anyway. She was having fun and thought I was, because obviously when you laugh from being tickled you're having fun. Throughout my childhood, when other kids feared ghosts and demons when the lights were out, my fear was about having my feet tickled. Two decades later, I would never let anyone touch my feet, and cannot sleep with my feet exposed. I also cannot sleep without my chin shielding my neck but that's another story.
I think this is the literal definition of sadism. This doesn’t come off as comedic or like it was for goofs and gaffs. The desired result was to humiliate and make them cry, I just can’t wrap my head around it.
Kids will scream for literally no reason. This was hilarious. They are young enough that they won’t remember this long term. They will be fine. Shame the teacher got fired though
I remember when my nephew was maybe a year or two old. I played pretend monster chasing after him and he started crying. I immediately stopped what I was doing and told him I was sorry, I felt so bad. I can't even imagine how someone could keep going after so many kids were crying terrified. Fucking psychopathic.
The way she seemingly starts to comfort the child with the mask still on and then scares him after he calms down a little, around 3:50...there needs to be a watch list for people like this.
Making a child think they are in danger because they don't understand the concept of it being scary for fun, is just straight up evil. Hearing them all cry, obviously terrified, is heartbreaking. I'm a former preschool teacher. I quit because of the parents, not the kids. Hearing then upset makes me want to comfort them.
I remember my child being particularly delicate at this age and scared of most things. I was really grateful to the staff who took extra care to keep them settled and build their confidence. If this happened, I know my child would not have been able to take it. What this woman did is just unnatural and agree, you just want to comfort them. Thanks for the work you did
@Preston Hunt they said "even Twitter fully condemned this woman", as in they were suprised No one supported this woman's actions, which is understandable considering we are talking about twitter.
I saw people defending her on Facebook saying that the parents who are upset are the same parents who let their kids trick or treat for Halloween and said it’s not any different 🙄😡
I am 32. My older sisters did things like this to me when I was extremely young (my parents weren't around a lot, mom passed young, dad rarely around due to multiple jobs) and the effects are still extremely evident today. The jokes about how scared I was continued in perpetuity. Some of the repercussions: No horror movies, always sleep with a light source and a distraction, still have vivid nightmares about it. Seeing people do this stuff makes me profusely angry.
It makes me so angry that so many people, even those involved with child care, dont understand how fragile a child's mind can be. I had this same talk with a girl on social media about a (separate) case where some sisters made their very young little brother cry for months because they made him believe that he had married a doll and therefore had lots of obligations etc. According to her, this kind of "fun" is totally fine because kids are "tough" and wont remember it after a few years. The kid cried and was upset for months mind you, to the point of not wanting to go to school because he had a childhood crush on a classmate or something, it wasnt just some afternoon prank. He actually seemed depressed. I can just imagine what kind of issues this poor kid may have when it comes to intimacy, romance and marriage when he grows up. This girl apparently worked with children routinely, as well, and she saw no issue with it. I guess the "girls' fun" matters more to some people.
@@louisrascon7934 watching videos about horror movies maybe with commentary is *completely* different from actually watching a movie. I also can watch videos like that but I still hate horror movies
You gotta wonder what sorta stupid infects a person to the point for them to do this not once, but multiple times. Hearing a crying child is literally hard-carved in our minds to make us uncomfortable, yet this lady was going for the Future-Trauma-Killamanjaro.
This awakened a deeply seated memory in me. When I was in preschool the teachers at some points would “punish” us by wearing a scream mask during nap time so we would close our eyes and go to sleep. They’d sometimes come and sit by us while we laid on our cots with the mask on and just sit there breathing. I have no doubt this traumatized the shit out of a lot of kids and I’m lucky I was well behaved enough at that age. It’s shocking how similar this situation is 15+ years later.
What! The actual! Fuck! I'm 35 reading this and I'm traumatized! I'm truly sorry you went through this! The idea that something like this happened truly messes with my head! And then this video?!? Who are these people??
@@cavemanvi yeah that’s okay the difference is this is just some teacher and they aren’t going to instantly feel safe like they would if it was just mom im sure it took them awhile to feel okay again after the teacher took off the mask
I used to work at Spencer's and Spirit and the amount of times I'd see parents put on a Chucky mask or something and turn the corner to jump scare their own children was absolutely insane. The kids would always run out of the shop. My favorite thing to say to the parents was "Great day to invest in some therapy, am I right?"
The lady didn't do this for no reason, she did it to get enjoyment of kids in distress as she finds it humorous, and to get clout as she thinks people will laugh with her.
@@dyshexiia could you imagine that being there backstory "I was spooked and threatened by a psychopath in a ghost face mask and well any way I started becoming a villain"
There were multiple videos and the kids were in pure terror. Some of the kids ran to another room and hid and the worker CHASED them in there and screamed at them again. The workers were LAUGHING. All of the employees should be fired for letting something like that happen. Some of the kids were eating and had food in their mouths when they were screaming which is a choking hazard especially in children that young. The fact that they saw how traumatized these kids were and KEPT GOING and VIDEOED and LAUGHED gives me chills.
The day care should be shut down completely. Charlie said this happened more than once. They should lose their rights to look after children for pure negligence at best.
Those are women that would have no problem hitting and being verbally abusive to their own children. They have no empathy. It’s creepy. I hope they don’t have kids.
@Hannah Smith it'd be nice if there was a list for people that had a history of behavior like this around children. Yknow, like pedo predators, but just... not a severe - they just should not be allowed to caregive for children in any sort of facility for a history of negligent and harmful behavior. Because they've done this once, then maybe the other person filming was doing it to make the parents aware.
Exactly my thoughts. It’s horrific that she would do this, yes, but it didn’t even hit me until a good bit into the video how much MORE horrific it is that other people let this happen/encouraged it/filmed it. Actually terrifying honestly. Esp as an adult of childbearing age, things like this make me worried about leaving my kids with even with “certified professionals”.
@@StoicVeR not sure about the states but here if it's a public preschool, there's a disciplinary board and the records are public. If it's just like a random playgroup style daycare probably not so much.
3:44 This is what struck me the most, that kid in the purple shirt is so scared and frightened of that situation that his coping mechanism is trying to not hear everyone he knows scream in terror and hoping that the monster in the room doesn't see him, holy shit dude, why would you do this to any child? I can't imagine how many traumas did she sparkle in those kids or how it's gonna affect them in the long run
can confirm trauma from these situations, 10+ years later I remember my dad and sister scaring me by acting like the villian from my favourite movie at the time. I genuinely felt terror even though they weren't even in masks or anything like that.
I have two young nieces, and I like going all out in a scary costume for Halloween. That said, every time I'm around them I make a point to show myself putting on my mask and taking it off again, and I let them wear it afterward. It's fun to be spooky around kids, but not horrifying
I don't think this was done out of stupidity, Charles. I think she knew the effect she would have on those kids. Their suffering was the point, she enjoys it.
Yup ....... If it was a male that had done this would we even be having this fucking conversation????? No we wouldn't be..... He'd be charged with the obvious crime immediately because there's nothing to debate here. It's all hard video footage as evidence....... Society needs to wake up and stop enabling women like this to exist without putting them in jail cells like we do to men who behave in such ways. Society is treating women as if they deserve unlimited get out of jail free cards because they're female and therefore 'don't know any better' or are 'harmless and didn't mean any harm'. Society needs to get a fuckin grip and realise how dangerous a situation this is to make things so extremely unbalanced between the two genders. Has history taught us nothing????????
Not only is this cruel, but it's also cringy. Like that person in mask moves around in the most cliche way. It looks so generic and uncomfortable and unoriginal.
Imagine all the horrible things that go on in daycares all around the world but no one ever knows because there is no recorded evidence and the kids are too young to explain to their parents what happened. On another note, I feel like this woman should get more consequences other than just being fired.
Like what? She got fired from her job man. That’s a big deal. These kids were just like crying and yelling it’s not like she assaulted them. Perfectly reasonable outcome.
@@NixFrame Well for one banned from working that kind of job ever again, obviously they aren't mature enough to understand how to interact with children.
As a person who has been "punished" by being scared many times as a kid, I am deeply traumatized and have mental health issues. Not JUST from that, but I genuinely believe that it heavily contributed to it.
I was this age when a teacher told me to stand on a chair infront of the class..I didn't know what I'd done and started crying, then they started singing happy birthday..and I guess I realised what was happening. This is one of my first memories, and even though it was totally innocent, I still remember that initial moment of fear 40 years later..God I feel so sorry for these poor children if this is going to be the first memory in life they have and its stays with them until they die.
As a daycare worker who works with young childen, this disturbs me. A kid cried today cause his mittens we're a little wet, and one cried for a solid half hour cause I couldnt hug her cause I was helping out other kids. The worst thing about this is how old the kids seem to be, younger kids have alot of brain plasticity and are very easy to engrane something into them at this age. So this event will likely traumatize these kids for life.
I don't even like kids and this bothered the hell out of me. This is HORRIFIC for these poor children. What adult in their right mind would gain any sort of satisfaction or pleasure over traumatizing toddlers?
Exactly. This for sure caused some serious damage to these tiny kids. If I was a parent of one of these kids that person would be screaming when I got done with em
I go to trauma therapy on a regular basis. And I can say that those kids are ALL negatively affected, some more than others. It's people like those women who destroy the psyche of the next generation. Damn it.
This is what will make the next generation much more toxic, because they're only toddlers and are still developing new things in their minds. So what they see from an older person or parent is what they'll keep in mind and quite possibly do the same thing to future generations.
I've never even experienced something scary until I was old enough to understand what was going on, but these kids have no idea and they are basically toddlers building the foundation of their personalities and learning about reality. I can't imagine how badly this must have shaken those kids up and obstructed that process.
This woman was that one semi-friend you had in HS who always took everything too far. Someone would make a funny inside joke, she'd say it the entire night until it was no longer funny. Someone would lightly tap them on the arm as a joke, they'd leave that person with a plum-colored bruise that'd take 2 weeks to heal. Someone would tease them and they'd degrade that person until they were nearly in tears.
This is not the act of a person who takes things too seriously, this is the act of someone who doesn't take things seriously enough, if they took things too seriously, they would have stopped immediately when any of the kids started to cry, but she kept going, unphased by the cries of pretty much every child in the room, that is lack of care, not too much, that psychopathy, not anger.
Hearing those children cry in sheer terror just makes my blood boil. I just instantly felt that instinct to protect a child in danger. What an absolutely deranged sadist.
I remember when I was somewhere around 6 years old, I was at a movie store with my Dad. I saw a dude in a Spiderman costume and it scared the absolute shit out of me so I screamed and ran away. Then my Dad explained it was just a guy in a costume and the guy gave me a piece of candy, which was pretty wholesome, unlike this whole train wreck of a situation. I can only imagine going apeshit on that woman if I was there.
@@jaakkopontinen I don't think they meant it like that, it's a shitty scenario that they had to learn that at such a young age at a place they should have felt safe at.
It was 2-3 year olds in one of the classrooms. The county is currently investivating the daycare and it's shut down until the investigation is over. Also, the girl who tried to defend herself was accused by the girl in the mask of inviting her into the classroom to pull this "prank". Who's to say which is lying. This happened in my area and we're all outraged by this situation.
ive got some three year old siblings who im very protective of (oftentimes more so than our own parents it feels), and it genuinely infuriates me how inept modern adults are at raising and caring for our children
"We're cursed to occasionally think of the stupidest shit possible." All of humanities problems, in once single sentence. What an absolute legend to say that.
This is the first time I've ever heard" this is hard to watch" and been genuinely sickened by the following video. Usually after hearing that line in like a true crime or something I'm like "yeah get on with it people suck I'm very aware of the horrible things humans are capable of" but this is... something else entirely.
okay imma say this: a crying child is one of the most frustrating sounds i can think of, and the fact that someone got enjoyment of of making an entire daycare cry is actually terrifying. keep that person away from me lol
Bruh, and the fact that it’s already hard to calm down a 3-5 yr old from crying for so long…why would they terrorize entire classes full of children just to deal with calming them ALL from crying??
Right! We’re biologically coded to feel distress around crying children and to feel drawn to help them, so the fact that this woman enjoyed that sound is more than a red flag
litterally basically one of the most annoying parts of young children. next to them going next to you and being like "same question same question same question same question"
Some people think they can just frame their sadism as a "prank" to get away with it. Simple rule: If your prank isn't meant to make someone laugh in relief, it isn't one.
My grandma is a director of a daycare and she has cameras installed in every classroom so parents know freaks like this aren’t messing with their kids.
yeah you really can't trust any adult. if someone can get away with this without anyone hearing the screaming of children, just what else could adults be doing to these kids behind closed doors??? if there's no cameras and no one to film, and no one even hears or care to check why there is screaming kids....
As a young kid I was terrified of loud sudden noises (fire alarms, screaming, yelling etc.) And even now as an adult these sounds send me into fight or flight. This shit has tremendous impact on your child
My niece got scared at a daycare when she was very young and in a daycare just like this, the mask was exactly the same too. It was just a quick scare, but way too intense. It made a huge impact on her life later on. She could never sleep a full night, and consistantly woke up with nightmares every day for years. The family struggled to make her feel safe and get her to rest. Her parents seeked skilled doctors, therapists and even healers.. but to no avail. At age 11 she finally seems more at peace. It took quite some years, but it's finally going the right way for her. Please note this: Never do this to children this young, at least make it super obvious for the child that it isn't meant to hurt them. And as Charlie said, the experience should at least end on a happy note. It can easily cause more damage than you think.
Studies show that a very harsh bright light can cause permanent trauma to an infant. These kids are a bit older, but the metric holds good context- It's BEYOND easy to substantiate terror within a child's worldview, when they're building just the very foundation of it.
So let me get this straight: She and her friend came up with this stupid idea, went there, did it while recording, both of them followed through to the end, saw the video of them scaring these children, uploaded it and at no point did they realise that this is pointless and cruel? What kind of fucked up internal drive do you have to have to be able to even do that and not back down?
Charlie said the recording was done by someone else for evidence to send to the parents. I wish they'd stop her instead, but I'm thinking it was the person being scared shirtless to lose their job if they stepped in physically, or scared of what this fuckwit would do. I can't imagine you could talk them out of it given they did it before, and how honestly malicious it is
Not sure about the person filming doing it to "expose the teacher," I'm cynical enough to think they might have been involved too. I am glad it at least got out, because who knows what else the kids would have gone through with that teacher otherwise.
The worst part of this is that they’re gonna have nightmares for years. I remember when I was 6 I heard kids talking about Bloody Mary and I have nightmares until I was 11. If that was just from hearing something, being in a situation like that is definitely traumatizing.
seriously. my sister told me a horrifying story when we were in line for a ride at Six Flags when I was 8 or 9 and it still fucking terrifies me now and I can't stop thinking about it whenever I wait in line there.
Watching this completely broke my heart the moment those kids started crying. Those kids are too young to understand anything going on and they are absolutely terrified. No child or any person should ever have to go through something like that. Those poor babies.
Not even lying when I say the genuine screams and cries of terror coming from all those kids made my stomach drop. What a sick fucking thing to do. Who gives a shit if "no one was in any real danger haha" No, full stop. That's a super disturbing thing to pull on literal defenseless toddlers. The fear she instilled in those kids is VERY real to them. Unbelievable.
truly. the people on here that are acting like it's no big deal have no idea. even haunted house workers know not to get right in little kids' faces like this. it's literally in our training.
As a previous daycare worker and big sister, I have *NEVER* seen such _pure terror and fear_ on the faces of small kids. Not even in the Chinese kindergarten video where they dressed up and pretended to kidnap the kids who took candy from strangers did the kids *cry like that.* I could understand if they tried to scare the teachers and inadvertently scared the kids, or if the kids were at least 8+ years old and old enough to understand what a Halloween mask is, but this is just abhorrent and cruel! *I bet she doesn't think she did anything wrong either.*
she's laughing at their fear. she's the kind of person who proudly says "i like seeing children cry" because society has stopped punishing people like this.
And society has the audacity to look down on parents trying to discipline their kids. some just never care or learn to take you seriously until you follow through and whoop their rears with a hand, belt or wooden spoon when they do something to warrent it.
@@ShadowSkyX thats just twitter. Ignore them Edit: The comments below have NO idea what discipline is. They think disciplining is when you randomly hit your kids for fun. Kids at that age are still developing a sense of what’s real and what’s not. This is absolutely twisted and horrific, and is going to deeply affect all of these kids.
I never really understood just how pure kids were until I became an aunt. I don’t have kids myself, so I never truly understood their brains and what that development looked like. But, after watching my amazing niece grow- I’ve learned so much and this truly hurt to see… I can’t imagine ever trying to scare her like this and watching her cry in fear. This is horrific… kids are only able to receive what you give them-- they’re not just born with anxiety or fears. My niece (2 yrs old) is so amazing, she’s really not afraid of anything and already has an awesome understanding that feeling afraid is okay and she doesn’t need to feel unsafe if she sees a spooky thing in a movie, etc. This lady obviously doesn’t understand the negative impact she made on those kids when she did this… those kids just learned that they can’t always trust the people that are closest to them to keep them safe. While those kids may not recognize the emotions and overall what’s going on - they will probably have anxiety after this Thanks for always bringing up topics that need to be discussed! Your channel is like an overall one stop shop lol you get gaming, intros to new channels, facts about shit you didn’t know you needed and awareness to major shit that matters lmao
Fun fact: all babies actually do have anxiety (stranger anxiety) naturally occurring at around 5 months old. And fear is an emotional response they develop at 6-18 months of age, but can develop as soon as 3 months if they’re being abused. Just some developmental facts, because fear is an innate emotion that we could not survive infancy without.
While I agree with the fact that you shouldn't treat people like this let alone children I do understand the stupidity of people nowadays, that however does not at all excuses person of her actions as a worker let alonealone someone who's supposed to be working for people's children and their future/ safety. But I do understand the sentiments of letting kids know you cannot always trust people just because that they are related to you or that you've known them your whole life. This is not excuse them for their actions because I know for a fact if I had this happen to me as a kid I will be more f***** up than I already am.
This is one of those things people might joke about when their kids misbehave but everyone just understands that it would be beyond awful to actually do it.
I live in Mississippi and I've heard about this for a week on local news it's truly upsetting and from what I've heard there was about 4 ppl involved all getting fired and some of the parents want to push criminal charges for what she did it is truly disturbing
My heart goes out to all the parents that had to have their kids go through something that could be potentially traumatizing to a child this age, watching it on film and even if I hadn't seen it and just read an article, even just reading it would just be a huge hit to my trust in things like Schools and Daycares

I had abusive preschool "teachers" and had to heal for a few years mentally (as well as physically) because of the stress they take out on babies. Quit your job if you think hurting an infant to be a considerable idea.
My theory is that this woman is somehow convinced that the kids think it's fun. As if four year olds are getting a thrill out of this the same way an adult or teenager has fun at a haunted house. The owners also got caught hitting babies and throwing them into cribs, the daycare is still up today. This video brings back all those same feelings I had back then. Those poor babies :(

One of the saddest parts of the full video is when it shows the little kids hiding behind a table bc they’re so scared. They really made these babies fear for their lives, and they enjoyed it. That’s so evil 😭💔
I used to be a camp counselor. I worked with children 9 and below. It was my primary goal to ensure every child was safe and comfortable. When that safety and trust is assured, then the children are most able to learn and grow. This video fucking brought me to tears. Seeing the way the children were disturbed through adult negligence and behavior. Seeing it sparked some sort of protective urge. Seeing children be hurt by an adult like this, seeing their fear an trauma, and not being able to jump in and help. It just brought me to tears. I feel sick.
My mom works as an assistant director at a daycare/preschool and she said this was one of the absolute dumbest ideas for a prank she’s ever seen. She also said she believes the parents can and will press charges and win the lawsuit because it is evidently clear that the perpetrators are in the wrong.
This reminds me of the time a dude walked around our elementary school (around the area where 6-8yo play) with a scream mask, and a hatchet. He was usually out in the forrest, mostly just looking creepily at the terrified kids (me included). Our teachers of course didnt believe us, but when he literally stood right outside the window of one class, and a teacher saw him, then finally they understood something was going on. Pretty sure the police were involved, and the guy got arrested some days/weeks later. But I don't remember all the details as this was around 12 years ago and I was just a kid. I only remember that the forrest was blocked off, kids always had to walk with someone on the way home, and the dares we had to go into the forrest to show how brave we were (this was after the guy had been caught). Scary situation, really.
It might just be because im slightly autistic, but I was genuinely scarred by this kind of shit as a kid. My whole family loved going through haunted houses and stuff like that, and they would always drag me in with them even though I was always kicking and screaming. I have vivid memories of some of these occasions and how violated I felt when seeing those grown men get up in my face wearing freaky masks, which just goes to show that stuff like this really does leave lasting impressions in kids, and could even traumatize them.

I remember being a little kid in school and our classroom had a box of costumes, including a scream mask. it scared the shit out of me and that was the mask just by itself. I can’t imagine how scary it would be being extremely young and chased by someone in a creepy mask. Some of those kids are going to develop phobias of some kind which will likely affect them for a large portion of their life.
When I was 14 my mum borrowed my camera & took photos at a halloween party & I deleted the ones that had her friend wearing a jigsaw mask & costume bc they scared the shit out if me & I didn’t want that on my camera. When my mum realized, she deleted all my photos out of retaliation, not realizing I was actually genuinely scared of that mask. But that’s just my own personal anecdote. These poor young kids would have no tolerance for anything scary whatsoever. Clearly child abuse

As someone who works with troubled teens, you'd be surprised how something like this can fuck someone up for a long time. Anxiety issues , mistrust of authority figures and anger problems are all commonplace for kids who were abused like this at an early age. I really hope the parents consider a lawsuit against this woman. This is fucking vile.
For real! No joke, that shit is gonna stay in their subconscious for the rest of their lives until they finally get therapy. I hope the parents sue the whole daycare.
like that woman is seriously so disturbed. how messed up do you need to be? like the audio of those kids screaming is actually heartbreaking. they all need a good slap after that whole thing. all of them, the one scaring. the one recording. the one encouraging it.
Some people think that as long as it's not physical, it's not abuse. This is a prime example of how that's not true. I have unfortunately dealt with a lot of trauma similar to this where someone in my life as a kid just thought it was the funniest thing to see me scared shitless as a literal child (since I could physically be scared pretty much). There's no reason for it it's just sadistic and cruel bullying towards LITTLE CHILDREN. Watching this is gut wrenching, I can only imagine how pissed off the parents were knowing this has happened multiple times before.
This is probably one of the worst things you can do to 4 year olds.. the fact these parents trust the workers with their children and they do this? Disgusting and unacceptable, imagine how many of those kids parents don’t trust daycares or summer camps anymore due to this incident? Also imagine how scared these kids were.. I DIDNT EXPECT THIS TO BLOW UP- TY!!
I cannot lie, I’m convinced these kids are 2 and 3. My daughter is barely smaller than them and she’s 1.5 years old, this looks like a preschool/toddler classroom. I know its not different honestly, but i really don’t think these are 4 and 5 year olds :(
this is why homeschooling is a thing, no shitty public school system with pedo teachers or crumbling buildings where they serve blue hotdogs, no bullies or anything like that. if ur homeschooling you challenge this hollow husk they call a "system"
I mean...how many parents...millions of parents trust public schools? Parents are taught to trust thr government. If you're not against public schools then how can you criticize daycare or camp?
@@bigsisbri3336 public school is a little different because of the age. a lot of kids going to daycare are to young to talk, so they are very easily abused. its all the recent deaths of young children and shit like this video that make me hard nope to my 1 year old son going to daycare.
The immediate fear isn't even the worst part. A number of those kids are gonna be dealing with that experience sunconciously for the rest of their lives.
The cries you hear for mommy is absolutely heart breaking these children are terrified. If I was a parent and found out someone did this to my kid I wouldn't stop until I had them arrested for child abuse of some degree
My kitten was terrified of me weeks after I vacuumed for the first time. Every time I went near that corner, he'd run and hide. At this young age, something like this will legit create lifelong phobias and imbalances.
When I was 5 or 6, I was terrified of that Beauty and the Beast scene where Belle was chased by wolves through the forest, and that was just an animated scene on a TV. I could turn the TV off and my parents were with me. I can’t imagine how traumatizing this was for these children who can’t escape and can’t call their parents for help.

I used to have a Michael Myers outfit and my sister had a kid who was like 3 or 2 and when he would act up she didn’t want to hit him so she would tell me to wear it and just stand at the outside window and stare at him… that’s what I did and if he continued to misbehave she would say “if you don’t behave the Michael Myers will come “ and he would start acting right lol
But all I would do is stand at the window and when he saw me he would run and that’s it. Looking back at it Im not proud of it, but if my sister told me to do the shit these day care workers did to the damn kids I would refuse that’s just excruciating. Imagine just prolonging such a harsh treatment,
October is for spooky stuff I get that but kids shouldn’t be punished for it.

This is what will make the next generation much more toxic, because they're only toddlers and are still developing new things in their minds. So what they see from an older person or parent is what they'll keep in mind and quite possibly do the same thing to future generations.

So let me get this straight: She and her friend came up with this stupid idea, went there, did it while recording, both of them followed through to the end, saw the video of them scaring these children, uploaded it and at no point did they realise that this is pointless and cruel? While those kids may not recognize the emotions and overall what’s going on - they will probably have anxiety after this
Thanks for always bringing up topics that need to be discussed!
