For me it was one of her first statements. She essentially claimed that AlluredBeauty's review video was only made because she saw it as an opportunity to go viral. No-one knows what is gonna go viral, and it was literally just a review of a product that people were excited about. Botulism the bacteria itself mostly thrives in oxygen deprived environments and the honey itself doesn't spoil. It was most likely the milk in the pink sauce that caused the bacterial to be able to grow. As I doubt she used raw honey as an ingredient for the pink sauce.
For anyone who’s depressed over the clapping here: You have to remember, on talk shows like these the audience is usually directed WHEN to clap, and sometimes on TV there are cuts made to look like the audience is reacting to something being said when they’re actually either reacting to something earlier or something completely different. Both of these tactics are done to give the host more credibility and make more people inclined to watch them. It’s sadly very common, especially on cable tv.
That and if you don’t go along with the directions you’re given like if you boo instead of clapping they can and will forcefully remove you even if you have every right to react the way you did.

Raw Honey has a higher chance of botulism. Not neccisarily honey in Amy case. Botulism is made by a bacteria so the bacteria that makes it can be in Rae honey and once it releases spores it can be hard to kill said spores. However, honey is not the main source of botulism. Botulism the bacteria itself mostly thrives in oxygen deprived environments and the honey itself doesn't spoil. It was most likely the milk in the pink sauce that caused the bacterial to be able to grow. As I doubt she used raw honey as an ingredient for the pink sauce.

You have to remember, on talk shows like these the audience is usually directed WHEN to clap, and sometimes on TV there are cuts made to look like the audience is reacting to something being said when they’re actually either reacting to something earlier or something completely different.
Both of these tactics are done to give the host more credibility and make more people inclined to watch them. It’s sadly very common, especially on cable tv.
