Developer and solo/expansion designer here--you guys did such a fantastic showing of the game!
Thank you so much! Great work on the game by the way. I haven't tried it solo yet, but all the streamlined changes and additions really feel great.
I'm one of the designers! So glad you liked it!
Hey, I thought that was you! Nice job on the game. I really think the decisions make this edition more of what this game should be for a broader audience.
@@meeplethat’s great to read. That was the goal!
I really liked the first edition. This looks even better! Can’t wait for its release.
I like this one better personally, although some who long for more player interaction might still enjoy the original.
at 10:34, couldn't you just move left and wrap around? You could in 1st Edition. You'd end up at the airport anyway without spending.
Probably so, but I always tend to forget about those connections. Thanks for the catch! 😁
Looks interesting, easier to just do stuff, but as far as I can tell the player interaction and hand management is gone.
Not a deal breaker, especially with new players but I don't know if my game group will go for the second edition
Played my copy and it's far inferior to the original. It was already an easy game, but they dumbed it down to the point of it becoming an elementary level kids game. Not having cubes on the board eliminates all competition for spaces, making this a multi player solo without even cards to manage. After 1 play, this is hitting the sale pile.
@@camalabloom2950how did you already play it? It’s still funding on Kickstarter….
To each their own. I personally like this edition a lot more. This game feels like it was always intended as a gateway experience, and something for the mainstream. I would also be interested in a heavier take on it, but the restrictive movement and fights for specific cubes of the original--I can live without for sure.
