    Thank you Brian, excellent explainer video, just one question, what does 'Trailer package' mean in real terms? Is it a support system on the vehicle should you want to install a tow bar or is it the complete package including the tow bar?

    • @doolanbrian
      @doolanbrian  Год назад +1

      Good question! So the trailer package means the car is compatible with the wiring needed to install a Towbar .. the Towbar and external wiring gets fitted in ireland after this 🙂 but you buy that as an accessory! Thanks for watching!

    Brian do you have idea how we reset the tyre pressure . Have pumped the tyre but no button. Thanks

      @doolanbrian  4 месяца назад

      @@lilly20xoxox this is a direct system, so if you are happy that you have the correct pressures in the tires, then once you start driving the warning light should extinguish itself, have you driven it since you corrected the pressures?

      @doolanbrian I did try that we filled the tyre in Kildare and drove to cork and it hadn’t gone off.

      @@doolanbrian yes low pressure on the dash. Tyres at 35 so we’ve pumped up to match (alert came on at 34). Driving, this tyre got up to 37, but no budge on the alert

      @@lilly20xoxox okay, pump them up to 40 psi , drive up the road for around 1 km and see if the lights extinguished, if it does, then let them back down to about 36 psi as per manufacturers recommendations, sometimes there can be inaccuracies between the pump you are using and what’s actually going into the wheel, and for some reason, sometimes you need to temporarily overinflate them before they recalibrate for some reason

    Interesting that in some markets, the Hyundai logo is on the rear. In Australia, there is no logo on the rear, which is my preference.

    For the heads up display, if you want those turning arrows etc, you need to be using the native mapping solution (as it doesn't work with CarPlay/Android Auto, unfortunately).

    It's not your camera resolution. It's your frame rate. Filming LEDs at 24 or 30fps will not pick up the light correctly because the strobe is much faster than the frame rate. Filming at 60fps would show the LEDs more consistently.

    Haven't had a chance to watch whole video as yet, so perhaps shouldn't be commenting! But looks like this will be competing with Tesla Model 3, which looks to be about 6K less. Tesla also has more range, power and standard equipment. At least both have heat pump. Hope the i6 is very successful, but will need to competitive on price.

    Nice video, nice car! Still, I am wondering: is there an unwritten rule that a sedan must not be practical or something? This would have been a better car with a hatchback / liftback, something similar to the i30 Fastback or Civic Hatchback. Besides this disappointing choice, there is not that much I can criticize.

    • @doolanbrian
      @doolanbrian  Год назад +1

      I think in this case a lot of the design is to do with aerodynamics followed by practicality, if that makes sense? Thank you for watching I appreciate it.

    • @10mbc
      @10mbc Год назад +1

      @@doolanbrian It just begs to be made as a liftback. It's the perfect shape, just move the cut above the rear windows and it's done. No aerodynamics are affected.

    • @lanceareadbhar
      @lanceareadbhar Год назад

      @@10mbc If that is true, I can see a lift back version in the next couple years as those are definitely preferred. This could either be a case of saving money or they had issues implementing one so they went with this instead. Insulation is "probably" better and maybe they assumed people would just get the I5 if they wanted a hatchback.
      Edit: I assume there are also people that like the additional privacy a traditional trunk has even though the back windows were tinted on the Ioniq 5. Just a guess though.

    • @10mbc
      @10mbc Год назад

      @@lanceareadbhar Ioniq 5 is not a hatchback, ia an SUV! It's bigger than the i30. I just don't see the advantage in having an SUV. I hope we will see an i30 EV soon.
