NOTE: This is an upgrade from the older version G305. Upgraded battery life compared to G305 which costs around $55. This G309 is actually $79 instead of $99 that I have mentioned in the video. Which in this scenario makes more sense. Without a doubt, better and advanced version from G305 in those terms, with a slight bump in the price. Also, there is a storage for the USB dongle. Logitech considering 86 grams as lightweight is very funny, i know that there are mice that are less than even 65g! Also hello! I havent watched your videos in a while, its refreshing to see you again!😊
Actually, they don't consider the 86 grams as lightweight. The other 65 grams are considered as lightweight, but you have to use PowerPlay. 86g is just a regular mouse. Just to point that out once again. Hi man, it has definitely been a while. Thanks for dropping by again! :)
If you look at the G305 on Logitech's website they mention that it's 99 grams which is "Ultra Lightweight"! (which was technically true for the standards at the time)
No storage for the dongle? Cheaper logitech g305 has it. This is actually a dealbreaker. 305 also looks better aesthetically imo due to simpler design. And it has 250 hours battery which is already insane and beyond that pretty much doesnt matter when it can last for months anyway.

If you take a look at the g305 there are a lot of weight saving mods and techniques that would probably translate to the G309. The easiest thing to do is to use it without the "puck" and back panel. Also you can use a AAA rechargeable lithium battery (with a ball of foil or housing adapter) which is much lighter than a AA Alkaline battery.
Why would you say it's 62 grams when it's unusable at that weight? it's just not, you can't use it without the added weight of the battery, the weight is 86 grams.
