In this video we swapped a GT350 Intake manifold onto my 2018 F150 5.0L. We showed how to lockout and zip tie the IMRCs which can be applied to 18" Manifold and we also showed to drill for the MAP sensor. It’s funny how no one ever quotes their hp/torque numbers and adds, “but keep in mind that dyno usually reads higher than everyone else’s dynos”. 😂😂 But you constantly hear about how “that dyno always reads 20whp low”. Lol.

Your peak torque is now in a higher RPM range now. You might notice a difference when towing.

I was wondering if you found any information on doing this swap? Would you ever use that intake on a gen 2 swap? Could you make it technical and then just figure out the vacuum lines lol

sooooo what if you have a 2019 5.0 & wanna put a 302 intake what happens to the IMRC’s?
How do you set up the vacuum lines for the manifold??
Which makes more the 302 boss or the gt350 manifolds

I replaced the IMRC in my 2004 F-150 without removing ANYTHING except the carburetor and cold air intake. I was able to get behind the manifold to remove the push rod clips, the plug and the IMRC. That being said.......... It was an absolute nightmare. Lol. If you ever have to replace your IMRC......... Drain your fluids (oil and coolant), take the alternator and manifold off, and do it the easy way. It will take between 3 and 8 hours depending on your experience level and determination to get it done. The "short cut" method I used takes so much longer, you gotta deal with fiberglass all over your hand, the injector line squeezes the hell out of your wrists and your guaranteed to drop clips, bolts and tools multiple times. You don't want to deal with that BS.

Hey, so I have a 2017 f150 and swap out the manifold to a new ported 2018 gt manifold. And the truck is giving me bad problems the engine light is on and start hill came on and other stuff popped up too can u help me out

I found an article that said this gt350 would swap on to 2016 f150 Wet the addition of the 87mm millimeter throttle. Sounds like it is far more difficult then that especially after watching your video. Am I correct because I would have to send this do a mechanic. I have a p 2007problem

Right, so Vmp's testing showed that the truck manifold is better in tq and hp compared to all manifolds, and some s550 and s197 are swapping it in, yet you swap a 350 Mani and actually losing tq ?!
Does the imrc bypass have to have a tune or can I just bypass mine on my 05 gt? Mine are malfunctioning as it is just curious... If it requires a tune who or where do you suggest?

Recent article I read showed dyno readings for all intake swaps available. This one showed a loss on ho and tq in the article...

How does the MAP sensor affect IATs if you extend the harness?
If it is placed in a vacuum line instead of in the intake manifold it will not get a true IAT reading
Who makes the map sensor relocation kit so I don't have to drill my gt350 intake for the map?

Gen 1 coyote Vs gen 3 coyote. Doesn't just pop on like you'd think. Gavin had to notch out a piece so his blower would sit on it properly when he went to the built motor. Not quite the same as you are asking about just the best example I can provide.

Gotta focus on making the driveline as free and useable as possible to fully utilize the power that it already has. Gears/converter/driveshaft/TIRE

You cannot run a F150 tune in a Mustang GT and vise versa on stock engines. Their cam profiles are different. Unless you swap in Mustang cams or swap in aftermarket cams which make the stock tune pointless, you cannot interchange them
Bullshit ported 18gt mani works great on gen 2 and 3 5.0 f150 with tune but you are correct on 11 thur 14 also gen 3 makes big improvements
