Bruce Jackson, elvis's sound engineer in the 70's, basically recorded every single show till the very end . He passed away several years ago and his wife is in possession of these pristine soundboard recordings. I'm praying that someone who is passionate about these shows, will be able to get them cataloged and released one day. Thank you for all you do
I didnt know that!! a really good producer like Jiles Martin or someone needss to do a Live Album based on those recordings and maybe a box set of live shows using modern equipment for the mixes!
Well said, ELVIS always brought me Joy when I was down or depressed, I would just think I wonder what ELVIS is doing right now and instantly fealt better !
He’s smiling and while not as wildly happy as in younger days, and in spite of the mounting pressures he faced, to be sure, there is no place Elvis Presley felt more at home (besides his beloved Graceland) than performing live on stage for his steadfast, loyal and true fans. 🎶I feel a song coming on.🎶 ⚡️🕺⚡️💜
how, i mean how, can anyone give Elvis a thumbs down? Makes absolutely no sense! I LOVE Elvis, have since i was 5 back in 1967.My kids LOVE Elvis, my grandkids LOVE Elvis! Damn I miss him!
One of my best friends went to this show . His Aunt & Uncle owned a record store and they got tickets through that connection . He snuck in a cassette recorder and recorded the show . It was your typical bad audience recording but to us kids in 1976 it was a real gem . They said the crowd was nuts and his security personell had a rough night . He came back two months later in May of '76 and did a brief stay at Barnes Hospital for a medical procedure . By the time the word got out he had already returned to Memphis .
We saw him in April or May in San Diego. The day of my first communion, I was seven years old. Same exact suit. We were in the first row and had to wait all night at the Sports Arena a few months earlier to get those tickets because they quickly sold out. I remember as we bought the tickets saying" so are we going to see Elvis now? " My dad said, "We won't see him for a couple months." My mother got two scarves that night. She was an expert at timing when the lulls between girl stampedes occurred from years of Vegas trips. She'd come back from those trips still pumped up with a bunch of Elvis merchandise and my sister and I would have to return to normal bed times and no more fast food every night. One of the scarves my mother gave away to a teenage girl who was crying and hurt because she had been trampled. The other, the one he wiped his sweat with before tossing it down to her, I inherited.

I am greatfull for these concerts so i can watch him in video, instead of just listening to lp records and streaming services. I was born way after his death so never got too see him live! 😔 Even though i am only 20 and Elvis isnt in fashion, i still love his music and his performences!! Thank you for the video!!
Yes, Elvis is in a good fashion today ! Just remember all the songs people are recording now. Remember those Remix songs.. Always on my mind, from Pet Shop Boys or Suspicious Minds. All the performances for Love me Tender or Are You Lonesome Tonight from great female musicians, or on Tv live performances programs, like America Got Talent . They have sing "Can't Help falling in love" in all AGT or world wise ... Yes! Elvis always will be in fashion !
Don't let nobody give you any crap about being an Elvis fan. Thanks to people posting old concerts with or without video, plus reaction channels, Elvis is reaching new generations of fans, keeping his legacy going. You are the future of Elvis fans!

No matter what, a loyal fan would keep negative opinions to themselves. Elvis always did his best and that’s enough for me. No one ever walked in his shoes.
So if you’re a fan of someone you should never criticise? What if they release a crap album? And why do people always say about Elvis “you never walked in his shoes” just because of the song “walk a mile in his shoes”

a year later a classmate of mine brought Darth Vader's black helmet (only the top part) into school as her dad had been "working on a film at Pinewood UK." We all touched it and at that time had no idea what this was until we saw the film a few months later in 77
I think there's something up here - he won't sing his usual loud / powerful - like he has a sore throat. Great tho - he can do no wrong! Great syncing for us all to enjoy!
It’s very unusual for Elvis to lose his voice, but he starts pushing it from the throat in Steamroller and clearly hurts it a bit. You can hear he struggles after that. As a singer myself I know that horrible feeling when that happens! He soldiers on though, bless him he gives it everything he has x

Notice after that that during the oldies where he usually gives out scarves, he doesn't go mingling with the audience. Apparently Elvis said he'd never come back to St. Louis after that incident. Some really good footage in here, thank you Unfortunately his voice was giving him trouble on this show and quite hoarse/weak compared to 2 days earlier in North Carolina with a strong voice. His health was in bad shape at this point.
I WAS THERE1 I went with my friend and her brother who was my boyfriend. We had a great time, We were one of the youngest people there. Was glad to be able to see The King in person before he passed away. Brings back memories.

elvis o maior cantor do mundo
The king play this concert on my black and white TV id was 16 years old my birthday was on this day always Elvis never had forgotten the king
God bless everyone who could see Elvis on stage ! I think this show , Elvis was not in a good voice, something was happening! Sad moment... The only show I see this happening !
Some really good footage in here, thank you
Unfortunately his voice was giving him trouble on this show and quite hoarse/weak compared to 2 days earlier in North Carolina with a strong voice. His health was in bad shape at this point.
„nur“ ??? seine Stimme? - Gott sei dank, die war und ist unübertroffen! Ein Glück, dass wir sie noch genießen können!
I WAS THERE1 I went with my friend and her brother who was my boyfriend. We had a great time, We were one of the youngest people there. Was glad to be able to see The King in person before he passed away. Brings back memories.
