I’d recommend reacting to mostly live performances from oasis one of the only bands to sound better live than in the studio for example some might say live from Maine road night 2

The track was originally meant to be just an instrumental so that’s why it’s probably so repetitive

Nowhere near Oasis best song, just a decent album track. Check out Live Forever, The Masterplan, Importance of Being Idle, Half The World Away, Acquiesce, etc..

I love this song but definitely in the bottom half of their catalogue. I think it was released as a single but I don’t even really think of it as one.

I remember this song but don’t. Does this make sense? Anyway It’s kinda forgettable like you would hear this song somewhere and not pay attention to it.
Honestly I've always felt this was a filler (but still appreciated) track from Definitely Maybe. Definitely not the best introduction to them.

The best version of this song is the white label version its way more clearer and seems a lot more instrumental and slightly different lead guitar solo too. I like this version but its not my favourite oasis song especially when there is better versions including live ones.

To ME, at least, Oasis songs have almost always been a bit like a modern SNL sketch. Generally good, but they never end when they should have.

@@mathewcooper8327 Granted, and I will admit this freely, I don't have much in the way of exposure to that many Oasis songs outside of some of the main hits, and that's from back in the time they came out in. Here's hoping that my ancient memory of that stuff was just... off.

Columbia is far from their best songs and most of their greatest songs are not well known. Listen to: Gas Panic! for example, great song and I go back to that song time to time. That song is from 2000 though so they wasn't as big as they were back in the 90's.
