I own 3 of the kore belts, they are fabulous and you just can not beat the perfect fit that they provide with the utmost quality. And as a bonus they do ship direct to the UK fairly quick.
Upon your suggestion, six months ago i started using two nano clips to carry my rovyvon aurora a8x and my SAK cadet. The clips are discreet at the office and I stopped losing gear. Great tips. Great channel. Thanks
Thanks for the feedback, really nice to hear when someone has benefited from the content - I use the clips too and for something so small and affordable they are a game changer for my carry
@@JonGadget unfortunately, my rovyvon aurora a8x failed me today. After 9 months the internals got twisted and the charging port no longer lines up with the port. I think I will go back to the little Olight. It doesn't push as many lumens but they last forever.

been contemplating to get those quad lock set for such a long time now, I’m used to having my nomad case for all of my iPhones simply because I prefer leather cases (for the feel and patina) but yeah! thanks for showcasing it Jon might be time to pull the trigger 😁
Thank you for another very enjoyable and informative video, I definitely agree with you in regarding the small Leatherman , I have had a Leatherman Wave for years, a really useful and easy to carry (5th pocket) multi-tool. Take care Sam
I’ve owned and carried knives and tools since the original leatherman wave. I don’t think I’ve ever needed a reamer, yet the Alice features one as do others. Other than maybe punching a notch in a leather belt (losing weight is nice!), what else do people use the reamer for?
Man I do want that Bellroy Desk Caddy. At work we have flex working spots and switch constantly currently I just throw my wholo bagpack on the table to get easy access to a compartment of it :D
You love your scissors. seriously check out the Nextool Flagship Pro. proper scissors that you can feel the blades meet and a rediculous level of engendering quality overall
@@JonGadget NP. It is more of a home/holiday multitool than an EDC due to its heft but it is just satisfying to open and close bits of this to hear and feel the machining tolerances
Thanks Jon for another great review. Have to say though that 50 quid for the tech pouch seems a bit steep when you compare it to the proliferation of other EDC organisers which come in at half that of less.
I technically have two dads, and also technically no dads as I'm not in touch with either, so I'm here for me only haha. I really like that Bellboy caddy! I also got a Gerber version of the Leatherman Squirt and it's the best for just day to day tat. I've used it mainly for getting pins out of the wall at work (after cutting myself on one) and used it for computer stuff too. All round good tools!
new to the channel. so many good things about the video. great video good sound. great background and info but not sure the intro music goes with the rest
Enjoyed the video Jon. Can I suggest another belt option, slim, lightweight infinitely adjustable and it's been to space. No commission here but check out the Grip6 offering (they even do socks)
I find the Acebeam UC15 to be the best little edc flashlight to carry on a keychain as it uses two AAA batteries and they last forever. It’s also got a red led and an ultraviolet light on it too.
The Tini 2 is really an incredible little light, I have two (one in Titanium, highly recommended) and will probably get more of them. The only downside is the lack of a sub-lumen moonlight mode. But almost no flashlight at that price/size have that. Squirt + Tini + a lighter and you have most urban uses covered in a very small package. I carry a Squirt every day at work, attached to my access card.
Hi, i was interested in the Tiny but read à few negative about durability and lack of water protection (,even under heavy rain not being immersed) but i might fall for it still
@@JoeGillian0 It's durable enough to ride in a pocket. As for water protection I haven't had any trouble with it and it's rated at IP54 which seems to be accurate.
So I mainly carried the compact for almost a year, I wanted something a bit tougher so I switched it for the PST. Can’t live without the scissors. The pioneer x is such a great compromise, gf will miss the tweezers…
sadly the Tini wont be good for more then 1.5 -2 years. battery will degrade badly. but is a good tool as long as it last. the Squirt is a gem. it can cut 3mm hardwire, scissors are good and can be sharpened to be awesome, blade is very good too, a bit tricky to sharpen. enjoying review as always! greetings from Romania.
@@JonGadget hi. i must do justice for this flashlight. i thought the battery is not good anymore but is almost as good as new. i tested on medium, it last almost 3hours (3x1hour) with no visible step down, maybe its there but eyes adjust at darkness too. then it start dimming but not that bad. the real problem its that on a keychain it will go on and depleat by itself in a pocket, even in demo mode. thats why i thought the battery is broken. edit the flashlight is more then 4 years old, not 2 years as i thought.
And you can easily customize the silver one with a bit of nail polish too. I painted mine with black and then wiped it gently with a rag with acetone to give it a bit rustic look. But you can of course also use red if you want the more classic SAK look.
The only thing that I didn't like was the flashlight. I absolutely can't stand rechargeable flashlights, especially where I live. I prefer to own a maglite solitaire, and I only put a battery in it when I need it, but I also carry extra batteries. When the power goes out here, it could be 10 minutes, or it could be a day or two.
Great video as ever, Jon! Just a heads up that the Leatherman Squirt has apparently now been discontinued - I sent one in under warranty recently and was told they are no longer in production. No idea why!

Happy Saturday & Happy Fathers Day Jon, some great gadgets there! My favourite from the Pioneer series is tied between the Pioneer X & the Farmer X, I have both in my EDC rotation. I've got a Silver Alox Farmer X & a Black Alox one and I have 5 Pioneer X's including 2 of the 2021 Orange models ( 1 for EDC use & one in my collection ) 1 x the 2022 Thunder Grey models in my collection ( I think its rather more a dirt grey colour ) and 1 each of a Blue & Red Pioneer X's ( I passed on the Silver Alox Pioneer X but do have a regular Silver Pioneer model as an occasional Gentleman's pocket carry ) which along with the most handsome Orange model I frequently pocket carry as they are sturdy & relatively slim & lightweight. Since you live in the UK & are not allowed to carry larger knives & ones that lock I will only add for those of us that live in less draconian law societies that allow both knife & firearms carry, IMO a Buck 112 Ranger makes an excellent Fathers Day gift as it combines elegance with practicality in a more compact size & also one of the smaller Civivi flipper knives such as the Elementum.
We're not going to talk about the perfectly organized garage full of bins? :-)
Yep, I want a video on the garage storage solutions too.
