I think it will be. Rosewood builds really nice communities. I drove by the community yesterday and saw that they are now advertising that they are starting out in the $400’s. I’d anticipate that it’ll be in the higher $400’s.

River Reserve and The Hartness look like they’d offer what we hope to find.
Do homes in The Hartness have basements? We have a wine cellar in our correct home in Michigan, where basements are very common in homes.
    Thank you.

There are a couple of homes in the Hartness that offer a basement, but the majority do not. It's much more rare to find a basement home in the Greenville area, and I always recommend being careful with basement homes in general in our area. We are close to the water table, we get more than the average amount of rain, and lots that offer basements here are most commonly due to the slope of the land. If you opt for a basement home in our area, please just ensure that the waterproofing system is sufficient.

@@livingingreenvillesc2899 Thank you for your reply as well as additional information! It seems we will need to convert a room with the necessary cooling/humidity system.
Looking forward to the search for a retirement home!

I am having a really hard time to decide which community between crown point, Harrington , and Greenrich mill. Can you tell me the difference of each , looking for best appreciation /value. and can you tell me the location of each and which is closest the downtown Greenville. Again Value and appreciation are important for me

I've added the links for each community below. I'd love to help you with making the right decision on the right community for you, but I also don't take that responsibility lightly. I don't think I have enough information to best guide you at this point. Let's schedule a time to talk more about what you are looking for. My email is Info@LivingInGreenvilleSC.com.
To answer your initial question regarding location. All three communities you mentioned are in similar locations overall, so the difference between any of them and downtown Greenville will be minimal. As far as differences between the communities, the builders are different, the floor plans being offered, the amenities in the communities, there are some pricing differences, and there is some different zoning in schools among a few other things.
