After some part of the game's story, you can expand the town and unlock the Dojo.
If you recruit Grapleomon into the town, he will appear at the Dojo
He will allow you to see your digmon's evolution chart and tell you how close you are to meeting a form's conditions
He will also allow you to block unwanted forms as well later on
It really makes it easier to get certain digimon that you want

Does it let you block options at Fresh? One of my partner Digimon is at Gen 3 and it digivolved twice in a row into a Rookie I didn't want-
It's gonna be wild seeing people new to Digimon discovering that evolution works more like "trees" rather than straight lines
This is actually one of the reasons I subtly prefer Digimon games to the Pokemon ones. Discovering non-linear evo lineups blew my mind the first time I played a good Digimon title, and made me love the franchise even more.
@@tashabourgeois7321 tbh I think evolutionary trees are just straight up better as a concept and mechanic than linear evolution lines in almost every way. I loved finding out I could still get certain Digimon even when I had what I at first assumed to be the "wrong" Rookie mon, and it gave me incentive to explore what else my favorite Rookies could evolve into
Now if only we could have some consistency between the games. I love the branching Evolution paths but it's kind of a hassle having to learn a new family tree every game
Zac issue their is the lore states any digimon can become any digimon the games are kust trying to codify this into game a acurate depictio neould be the bigest dam tree ever where any rookie can become any champion but that be impossible to do requirments for as even requirments are kind of gamefisd version of it the evelution is random somtimes and can be infulenced by the type data a digimon consumes
@@demonic_myst4503 what are you talkin about? Agumon ALWAYS turns into Greymon and Gabumon ALWAYS goes into Garurumon, that's consistency. I just wish the other side evolutions were also consistent and didn't change every game. If you have aleutians are different because of law reasons they need to address that and let us know in a set of having us discover it at random
Please consider doing more digimon videos. I mostly play pokemon but I watched your TemTem and Coromon series and have been interested in digimon so having a creator I like do content is more likely going to sway to pick the game up than actually hunting down info on my own.
Both of my mons evolved into numemon on Champion level 🤦

Too many care mistakes probably remember when training if the droplets 💦 like that pop up it needs rest, I usually get into a routine like 2 training 1 rest sorta thing and for an easier time use the dlc agumon or gabumon as they will only turn into their line only or die but they also evolve way easier
Also the easier the mode you select the more stats your digimon get through training
As someone who has many hours in this game, the "known" digimon (as in the ones everyone knows, tamer cast digimon) have much higher stat requirements to evolve them into who you want, so it's recommended to not pick them first. If you fail to meet any conditions, you'll get numamon, while not terrible, might make you struggle a bit starting out. The non digimon cast mons have a lot less Stat requirements, so start with them if you are new!
It's kind of a requirement to start out with the alternate mons, your first time Agumon and gobumon are just about impossible to get

I got my game delivered on launch date. I knew nothing about the game.
I closed my eyes, spammed right and chose my eggs and I'll probably do the same when the life cycle repeats. :D I'm surprised of how much fun I'm having with this game, even though it bodied me like hell in the beginning.
An advanced digivolution guide would be SWEET AF! There may be guides out there, but most are text based, and especially on high-fatigue days I soak up knowledge more easily in a visual format. Sorry if I'm asking a bit much there, but that's my honest feedback!

I don't think it's a bad thing for you to make guides on the game even if others exist if it's what you wanna do.
You're good at explaining things, it's a fresh release, people like the style of your videos, and sometimes it's just nice having a more modern video done up, especially from a creator you know so you don't have to go searching for them

I am addicted to this game! I loved digimon as a kid and i still love it. We need more digimon games! Maybe a new digimon world (not a remake) 😁 but damn it feels so good to have a digimon game again
Honestly, I may not be subscribed to this channel yet, but getting more modern day videos for this digimon game would be quite welcome, even more so if there are slight changes from other versions of the game.
This game is so much fun and very replayable. I love it and can't wait for the next one!
This is a good guide but really newbies need a guide way beyond rookie stage because the longer you can keep your digimon alive the more time you have to power them up and digivolve higher and in turn do more of the games content. Tons of these digimon have requirements that are near unatainable on your first, second, or even third generation. Which can make the game feel even slower than it already is and potentially be frustrating.
I've never played this game until it came to the Switch and I love it! I don't understand why some reviewers rate it so badly. An advanced evolution guide would help me greatly, so if you do one of those I'd really appreciate it!
Originally I also wanted Guillomon and was sad I got Solarmon, but after awhile I came to love the gears digimon because of how strong it was carrying, now it’s a Blue fire boi and it kicks butt, totally forgot that World followed the og rules

In old Digimon yes any Digimon can evolve into branching families. However if you do a correct family tree you get higher stats and exclusive moves. The food you give it, the amount of time leveling and who their fighting are hidden mechanics that alters their growth. Like Vaccine gets more XP from Virus types. Data gets more XP from Vaccine. VIRUS gets more XP from data types. Then pairing the families

Definitely curious about both the evolutions and the differences between switch and PS4 for sure!
There's almost no difference, switch just has a sloppier frame rate. All of the digimon and evolution requirements are the same
For your first generation of digimon Gigimon into Solarmon is so damn good.
From there it's easy to get the entire Birdramon line. Don't even have to be playing that optimal to get it.
Played the game back on PS4, both my starters evolved into Black Agumon and Black Gabumon then Black Greymon and Black Garurumon.
Nice, both of mine turned into Saberdramon 😂

For me I had a crazy journey with my Mons and struggled for megas 😂 metal seadramon was my first mega. I haven’t got numemon or any of that line because I despise them 😂 I don’t ever want them but I will eventually for achievement purposes. Also the talking gabumon and agumon at ultimate and mega for one turn into gallantmon EXE like bruh 😂

There aren't really any differences though other than system specs. It's the same game, it'll just probably run better on PC, because everything runs better on PC

Is it random what you get of the four or five rookies from each evolution or do you need to raise stats in a certain way to get one or the other?
its stat based for everything from rookie and beyond in terms of digivoltion
Your first generation you're probably only going to qualify for one or two of the rookie Digimon if that. With every generation your Digimon will be a little bit stronger and will level up that much faster. Especially when they get distinct and you can end up with a mega and rookie, this is ideal because you can win fights with the mega and the rookie gets all the experience. Around generation 5 I had a big power boost, my lopmon became as strong as the mega Digimon I was using

I miss the digivolution chart from Digimon World 1. I don't see why they couldn't implement it in Next order. Or at least make the existing overview more interactive. As in allow me to go evolutions backwards. I don't understand why it only goes up.
And yes that's nitpicking too but I'd have loved to be able and see the digivolution requirements I already unlocked somewhere. As is you only see them for your current mons. Practical yes, but lacking. Hope they'll fix this if we get a new installment in ten years or so.
All that said I really enjoy the game. The story gates can be annoying at time, because DW1 didn't do that to us. But overall a very nice continuation of the series. It adds a ton of qol improvements in comparison to DW1. So for casual fans an easy choice.
They have that on the history tap of the partner menu. It shows all of your unlocked evolutions and the requirements that you've unlocked. I'm constantly checking it every time I unlock new requirements. You can only really see the stuff for your Digimon that you have on you but as those are the only ones that you can train at the time it makes sense.
Eventually you can even block Evolution paths so you won't get a monster that you've already gotten before. Late-game there's also a way to revert your megas back to earlier levels through fusion
Find Grapleomon and bring him back to town and you can see the requirements for digimons you haven't unlocked
And if my memory is correct, you can block unwanted evolutions.

Each digimon have different lifespan in each stage.
So u can literally have every digimon.

You can't dedigivolve you're kinda stuck in whatever line you end up in. Half the fun of the game is trying for different evolutions failing and then coming back again with a new mon because then you don't have to unlock the requirements again and can focus your training where you need it

My digimons died 3 times, on the fourth they evolved to mega lol
I have so many questions! Does Shoutmon have all his stages? How does he digivolve without his combining partners? If you fuse stingmon and xveemon, which Digimon do you get? Can you get Dino beemon? Do you have to touch another egg once you get that ultimate? There's actually a huge variety of babies in this game, I'm kicking myself for listening to the negative reviews at the time and not getting this back then.
Shoutmon's a late game rookie, need to have high stats to get it, and its only additional form from the anime is Omnishoutmon. You can fuse stingmon and xveemon to get paildramon via a mechanic later on in the game and it leaves you with one of your partners being paildramon and your other partner being (can't remember if it's a champion or a rookie, but a previous form it had).
@@JadoDog Whenever you use DNA/Jogress, one of your partners will revert to the previous level. So say you fused to evolve ExVeemon, the Stingmon used would revert to its rookie form (Wormmon, most likely).

No he's not, he just got reincarnated. You retain battle skills and now you don't have to unlock evolution requirements again. Keep at it, you'll be able to turn them back to Garurumon again if you want. Each generation has the potential to become like a thousand points stronger than the last

why is it so important to choose the right starter egg? every time a digimon ( dies , end of his life before being reborn ) and then you get the chance to choose another EGG .... ;) .... so the first choice egg, doesnt matter if you ask ME. it doesnt even take long for a digimon to reach the end before being reborn! lots of chances to try out different eggs ;)

This game is kinda a port. Herrismon wasn't a thing when the game originally released. At the time Digimon Fusion part 3 had released, I believe.

I'm a little dissapointed by the rookie options, most are just recolors or variants of the same.
You think that's bad? There's a Garurumon AND a Gururumon 🤣 I see no issue with it though, palette swapped Digimon have always been a thing, the original metal Greymon was blue, now he has a whole Evolution line
@@zacziggarot No problem with that, my dissapointment is for the playable options. The original DW1 had a lot of recolored or modified Digimon for enemies (gururumon), meanwhile the original versions were playable and NPCs to collect (garurumon). For Next order is not very exciting to see 2 of the 4 evolution options to be recolors.
I could never get into this iteration of Digimon, the evolution and the way Digimon have live span is tedious, I think the game could be great if that was fully removed, is just way too much micromanaging, cyber sleuth made you feel like you worked to get the Digimon to an amazing evolution and became OP, I kind of like it that way better, I purchased this game twice before once when it came out, second on PC both times to give it a chance, sadly still was not my cup of tea.
Really? I felt like cyber sleuth had a lot more micromanaging to it. I kept getting anxious because I didn't know what to have each farm do, so I probly ended up messing up the stats of 50 some Digimon at once. I found it a lot more relaxing to just have two mons to worry about.
I also thought that cyber sleuth Evolution was kinda repetitive, all you do is level up, evolve, level up, devolve for abi, level up again... I really like going from some on in cyber sleuth because it actually required some strategy with training him, but the majority of the evolutions in cyber sleuth is just: grind. Meanwhile in next order evolution is earned overtime, through multiple tries sometimes and you don't even know HOW to evolve until you put time into it, but you can still wing it and succeed if you put points in the right place.
Either way, I can understand why some of the things would put you off. I think it's pretty cool that we like a franchise with such a diverse series of games that appeal to different people for different reasons 😁

@@GymLeaderEd yeah that’s the one. I love getting that egg especially since the first ExE form I ever saw outside of the Omegamon you see in the tutorial, was Armageddomon which is one of their digivolutions.

Fan(s) of it, just want less combat and more befriending, story, bonding and nurturing and talking mechanics, of empathy and and if level levels and stats needed, they get raised this way and as a last resort, self-defense, if pacifism and befriending is harder, like in Undertale? Would love this with Digimon and as a more socialist and quantum physics based franchise?
Like the village recruiting and more fruit on trees, bushes and shrubs? Maybe they could also like cats learn to dig and bury their waste, when needing the bathroom, too?
Less gencidal "grinding" and "farming", too? Just really want to have fun with our digimon friends?
