Real life, real decluttering. Must feel and look so nice in that drawer! With four people in my home, things never look perfect and they don't need to. Working in the zone is what keeps it looking good, looking great....yes, we all find items like you did today, Diane!
Thank you for freeing us from our guilt of throwing things away! I started to feel guilty when I was cleaning out the freezer, then I remembered, "Diane says I don't have to feel guilty over this!" and it gave me the freedom to keep going - thank you!

Cleaned the kitchen windows yesterday and I smile every time. It only took a few minutes but what a difference.
I always look forward to your videos every day. I have already decluttered and cleaned my pantry this morning and I am the same way you are: I go back several times during the day and look at my work. I had to laugh when you said you did that. I just love you. You are so motivating.
what I like about your videos I can listen to them as I actually do my own declutter and I like when you alert me to look up and watch what youre doing then I go back to listening/decluttering its like being in a workshop. Seriously cant thank you enough for how your videos are changing my lifestyle my home environment and how I live in it. Thanks Diane a big hello from Helen in Australia! :)

Hi, Diane, shaking the virtual pom-poms for you...I know this kind of all purpose drawers oh-so-well;-). Astonishing how many time we spend to THINK, what should be done, sometimes literally weeks and more, and that 15 minutes are sometimes all you need! Haha, and I also can't resist to look at my 'piece of art' again...so refreshing. Thank you for starting the little engine again:-), love, Monika
Haha... I always go back after some time and look at anything I decluttered after I am done with it. You're not alone Diane! It makes me happy... and it also gives me the chance to check I'm happy with it with a clear head..
Ah.. the new satisfaction of extra space in the pantry overrides guilt feelings me thinks and throwing out old food I am never going to cook is a win win! Go flybaby me! Thanks for the encouragement and inspiration. Ps. I can also see the back of my fridge. Bonus
I do the same after decluttering and cleaning a drawer or cupboard. When I pass by I open it and admire my work 😊

Diane in Denmark I had a stash there too, they found it and told on me. My husband was like "oh so that's were you keep it huh, I knew it!" 😋
Diane in Denmark I have 5 grown daughters and they all have a chocolate stashes. Guess they got that from me. I've had to get very creative on where to hide because they would find it. My granddaughter lives with me so I'm still stashing and hiding.
I always go back and look at my clean area too!

I like to keep my toaster in a shoe box while in the cupboard. That keeps the crumbs contained and then I just take it out of the box to set on the counter to use it.
April H we turn our toaster upside down over the waste basket and give it a good shaking to empty the crumbs out after each use. 😊

Yes! I have the same compulsion ;)
We also have the chocolat to put on the bread in dark and milk in the Netherlands. But as a real "Dutchie" I find that nothing beats chocolate flakes or even better chocolate sprinkles on the bread.

Our snack cupboard used to look worse then that when our kids lived at home now we just have a jar of candy for grandchildren visiting.
I'm in love with Suddenly Salad, its a pasta kit. Do you have them in Denmark? I splurged and bought a label maker.
Maybe put a box of large ziplock bags in that drawer, so the children when they open cookies, biscuits etc can seal them back up in a ziplock bag to keep them fresh.
Very surprised that you don't use storage containers once a package has been opened. Everything here must go into a zip-lock bag or box to keep it fresh and to keep the ants, etc. out.
