The Flylady system and specifically you, Diane, have improved my health. I just came back from the doctor's and I have lost 9 pounds and my triglycerides have dropped 80 points!! OMG, was I ever shocked. The only thing I've done differently since my last visit is Flylady and watching all your videos and then putting the program into use. Due to some back issues, I truly sat too much, but since I started this program in July, I set the timer and make myself get up and do things.Two nights ago I was watching TV and thought I could just as easily watch TV and clean out a drawer; so I got the drawer and in no time had it tidy. The more I do this, the more I want to do. My house looks so much better, I'm enjoying life more, and my health is better. Thank you so much. It's all due to your motivation.
That is absolutely brilliant, Emily! I'm so glad that your health has improved...there are truly great benefits from using the Flylady system!
I have finaly started to get Flylady to work for me, and that's thanks to YOU! But now I am pregnant in week 31 and for a couple of days ago I got bad contractions and constant pain in the back. Got really worried! So now I have been laying in the bed for two days. I have felt a little disscouraged. I want so bad to keep up the good work with my routines and keep my household with 8 people running. Explained my condition for my older kids and now they have responsibility to help in the home 20 min/day. My DS 15 yrs Said he could do the laundary every day, my DD 9 yrs plays with my 2 yrs old very much so she does that. My DS16 yrs is going to make the dinner tonight and my DD 12 yrs got the job to do detailed cleaning in the kitchen today. Besides, I feel much better today and I actually did some decluttering and detalied cleaning in some drawers my self! Yeah!! And thanks to my habit to do some of the Flylady-routines like making the bed, hotspot ect, my home actually looks fine after all. I'm so happy! Thanks for all your inspiration!

Lol Diane you brought some tears in my eyes... Today is my birthday and I just learnt that a couple of friends will be invited in our house tomorrow - I was already depressed at this thought (clutter in the living room, work from other projects, meals planned but not for additional guests, etc), and I also thought that it would be the occasion to sew new cushions covers and recovering the chairs that are in pretty ugly shape... Haha !
Your bench cushion looks fantastic (love the drawings and colors although it's difficult to tell exactly what it is)!!
So it was (again!) like you reading my mind when you talked about sewing new covers...
Well now I need to do some decluttering in the living room and kitchen (this morning we did the kids' rooms... which they won't visit... Talk about procrastination!!)
It's so helpful to see that even you need a kick in the pants to start sometimes...
And I've always wondered if I was the only one who didn't know where to put all the strange and fun baking utensils that are used once or twice a year! Well now I know that you have some too :-))

My mom also made me "doll" birthday cakes using a Wilton doll base pan or a bundt pan ( can't remember which). She also would make mini ones for each of the guests to take home. She loved cake decorating and the frosting dresses were elaborate and beautiful! However they didn't have the legs and feet like yours, so they looked like they were standing. Brought back many good memories. Thank you Diane.

We had the same dolly cakes for both DD's when they were little... I have stashed the doll in a small box that holds some small treasures for DD.. Like you, can't part with it... but your Barb is far more stylish with boots sticking out of the cake!!!
I recently decided to use a basket to keep baking supplies, and 1 for decorating, and I feel far more inclined to bake knowing that everything is ready to go... no more digging thorough canisters and cupboards! Yaaayyyy! Family loves me!
Isn't it true we decide to go all out 200% when company comes... What are we thinking??

Blah days... I used to get them often in winter... most of the winter! Now I have a "light therapy" lamp and it does help! Time to get it out (I try to start using it about Oct. 15). Go you for getting through a rough week! We all have them.

Dentist time for me too - had to get a crown re-done a couple weeks ago. Was kinda freaking out a bit, but the dentist was very careful and did a great job with the numbing. Have to go back Monday to get the crown put on (sigh). Hugs to you - I've been feeling "off" the last few days. Must be the season change. Hope you're feeling better soon! Listening to you and watching your videos helps me push through. You're very much appreciated!
Such a good video. I did cake making supply decluttering a month ago. My daughter is going to turn 23 soon and I just now let go if her Barbie cake pan. After the decluttering it was a whole box of baking and decorating stuff that was given away to bless someone else. Thank you for being such an inspiration.
Diane, I will keep you in my prayers. You have done so much for me and supported me in turning my life around and helped me actually enjoying cleaning. When, I told my daughter that you went to the trouble of answering my questions about what to do when you have company in a vdeo recently, she started following you too. Then I talked to my cousin who has been depressed and is feeling overwhelmed with her home and now she is watching you too. So, I will pray for you to have better days ahead. Hug, Mary

Thanks for this video Dianne. Does decluttering ever finish? I decluttered the medicine cabinet today. Had outdated medicines from an operation in 2012. . And so many bandages. Why was I keeping so many? Good to send them on, maybe save someone else some cash. Love your outfit and your cake Barbie doll. Don't part with ccount either Dianne.
