There are some Caron cakes exclusively at Michaels, but some are sold elsewhere.
I usually don’t buy acrylic, but I went a bit bonkers on the anniversary cakes. 30% off on each, free shipping. Thick and soft yarn. Two of Jubilee, two of pebbles, two of book store and two of evergreen. I plan on making a lot of blankets this year.

Love the video! Love seeing the enclosures and how all of the animals could go in and out and all of the cat towers etc! Looks like a very nice and clean place and caring place! And if not for all of your work and stress, it wouldn't have all come together! Thank you to everyone who contributed, made blankets, bought blankets and everyone involves! Spice cakes and Latte cakes have always been my favorite for some reason. Last time I got the spice cakes from Herrschners of all places. ❤HOCUS CROCUS magically ended up in my cart 🤭
Love the new colors of the Latte Cakes ~ it’s too bad that they have no new solid colors that would coordinate with the stripes ~ the Cream color Latte Cakes are my favorite, since they no longer make the Plum solid color Latte Cake 🤎🌸🤎
my wal-mart has a mainstays yarn called Lollipop that is identical to Latte Cakes and comes in a solid cream!

Lavender Shore and Marooned are my personal picks from the new colors. I would definitely get Tiramisu and Night Storm if the first two aren’t available… I am working with Latte Cakes times two, a blanket for my grandson and a blanket for my bed. I LOVE this yarn so much. New colors are what We all were hoping for 🥰💯
I have an old Caron cake with the Pom Pom. It’s called a Cupcake and is a 3 weight. Color is mint smoothie.
I adored the Caron Cotton Cakes, best cotton I ever worked with, I think because it wasn't 100% cotton, had a tiny bit of acrylic I think. I would love to see that come back!

You need to try the new K/C Superwash Wool Luxe at Joann’s. It’s is one of the softest wools I’ve ever crocheted with and like you I love wool and have tried a few.

River birch are my favorite too. I loved buying the half dead ones at big box stores and watching them florish . Lovely small shade tree in summer and beautiful bark and forgiving branches in the winter.

For some reason, Michaels website isn't showing the Macchiato cakes for me, but there are pretty new phasing colors of the cloud cakes and I am feeling tempted! LOL. Thanks for sharing Crystal!!
Are you in Canada? I’m not seeing them yet on the Canadian site but did see the perfect phasing cloud cakes! On the US site search for “Caron cakes” and then sort by “new arrivals” and they are there.

I usually order online for several reasons. First, our caretaker has to drive me since I don’t drive. He doesn’t like to shop so he waits outside. I have budgeted money for yarn and it’s my business what I get and how much I spend. Another reason is the yarn is at the back of the store. I have RA that affects my back so walking back there, even with my rollator, hurts. I just miss not being able to see the colors live and feel the yarn.
All of those look great but I especially love the new anniversary cake colors!! I remember not like the last ones very much but these are beautiful!

I have 1 of several of the old Latte cake colors. I am going to make a rainbow blanket out of them, I'm just missing the yellow color. I am so excited!!. I loved the Macchiato cake that you used on your wrap, but I also love the purple too, It's my favorite color. But Burgundy, and grey are beautiful together. I have 3 of the anniversary cakes in the stripes the blue, purple, and magenta. I never cared for the speckled or dotted ones. But I love the Birch that would match my living room. I missed out on the sticks and stones or the sandy shores color ways. I love the purple, of course and the one with the blue, but the prismatic one I could use with the striped ones I have. Oh, the options are endless, and so is my love of yarns. Thank you, for sharing with us.

Woohoo new Latte Cakes. My favorite! I have sweaters and ponchos made from Latte cakes. I was in Michael's on Wednesday and their end caps were empty waiting on new stuff. Now I see why. I would have been in trouble if they had been full.😂❤
