Anyone experiencing the issues with excessive force? Liftmaster is aware of it apparently and offering new circuit boards. Great motors, but might switch the genie until this is 100% resolved
A lot of these issues happened when these units first came out. To my knowledge, LiftMaster has fixed a lot of the original issues that these units were having. I personally haven’t had any issues with mine and i’m hoping it continues to be that way.
I was thinking about getting this same model till I read about some programming issues people were having and the door not shutting till you reprogram it. Has this been fixed ? You having any issues?
Definitely quieter and smoother then the pos Genie jackshafts
Definitely agree. I refuse to use any of the new genie products
Hopefully you have good luck with it, to my knowledge there's no way for these to detect cable slack unless you install a monitor

If any of those jackshaft break maybe you can get a draw bar garage door opener. maybe or maybe not. just a suggestion.

I have not had an issues so far. To my knowledge they’ve let out an update to fix all the programming issues these have been having.
