Great Video, I will be checking the coil. I poured Injector Cleaner in to see if that solves the problem I am having. This will be the second thing If that does not work.
My 02 Chevy Cavalier started show the P301 code on the engine and shaking really badly and can’t get up to speed very well and idk what’s wrong with it
well pulled the beater out and replaced the battery, plugs, that spark control mod that you show and even the cat converter and drove to work and all was good. Came home and was almost home (26 or so miles) and thought cool it worked im going to make it and just then it started. Tired at this point of dumping money into iyt but now has me pissed i cant figure it out. Anybody with any ideas? If i let it sit im betting it will be fine. Its hit and miss.
I have a 03 Cavalier doing the same thing but will run out fine then kick a code. Park the car over night and starts and runs fine. All started sitting in traffic one night for a hour.Once i got moving and blew it out it cleared out and ran fine. Has a cheap reman battery thats a year old but checking that while running it checks fine. Any ideas? Just a beater car but hate to dump it. Whats throwing me off is it coming and going.
Is it the same code in the video?? Also I would first start off with replacing the battery with a quality replacement because a bad battery can cause all kinds of weird issues
yeshbuds check the EGR valve, I have 1997 what’s been misfiring , coils replaced, plugs replaced. When the map sensors and crankshaft sensors are off sometimes a bad EGR Valve will cause all your other sensors to fail and bring up the random misfire code.
Nick Jones did you ever figure out the problem with you’re car. Mine is doing the same thing. I’ve tried almost everything even buying a Catalytic converter
Mine needs a boost to start and does the same thing and I’ve been using my second key so it has that key with the number 2 flashing on the dash along with blinking check engine
Nick Jones i went to two auto parts stores, and one of their scanners narrowed it down for me. i replaced what it said it was and it worked. since nine months have passed, did you get it fixed?
@@JessicaLanear go to an auto parts store. They will use their scanner to narrow the problem down. then you can go from there. p.s. i went to two stores, one store's scanner was more precise.
I have been killing myself trying to figure out how to test that thing so thank you very much!

THAT WAS A SPOT ON VIDEO THANK YOU VERY MUCH

Did the test, feed lit bright and got nothing on the two control points. Replaced the whole assembly and still no spark. What now?
I got the same model that don't crack, can you give me an idea to find what is the problem. Thank You

Got 1 doing same thing changed a bunch of parts run,s fine till u shut it off for a few min,s restart it then starts random misfires
clogged vacuum line gives a po300 sea foam saved me some serious money
Ummm. Why was the module your suspect? I missed the game plan there.

Replaced it, problem stayed. Also replace entire coil pack and spark plugs, no change.

@@getfitwithme8405 what did the auto parts store say? I asked them to use their scanner. it helped me fix the issue.
