Remember guys, if it feels difficult for you guys to stop or cut out your temptation by fasting or meditation, because it may seem like the temptation or desire may fester underneath and get stronger, you must remember that, it’s better for it to fester underneath, and to fight it when you are stronger, than to keep battling the same thing you always lose to, over and over and over…And I wouldn’t have came up with that quote if it wasn’t for the words of this video. I know it can be hard to have to go through our sins despite knowing we are deep down good people who shouldn’t have to worry about this, but knowing what’s been said in this video, it’s normal for almost all humans if not all humans, to have issues with temptations that manifest before our eyes, in the world in front of us…

Three things that I realized are essential when battling sin: First, know what triggers temptation and what opens the door. Once you know what it is, get rid of that thing. Like Braxten’s plant analogy, pull out the sin from the roots. Don’t just try hard not to do it, instead set yourself up for success in advance by getting rid of (or at the very least placing boundaries on) the things that set the mood for sin. Replace the time spent on social media (for example) with spending time in the word. I would recommend memorizing scripture because the word is the sword of the spirit-an effective weapon against the enemy. Equip yourself to fight and win!
Second, find Bible verses that support motives not to sin. Ask yourself, why would I settle for a cheap counterfeit when I can wait for or receive the best that God has for me? The enemy lies to us that if we don’t sin, we’ll miss out on something or we won’t find what we’re looking for. That’s a lie! God has everything we need and is everything we most deeply want. I personally pray that God would help me to be like Joseph who, when faced with the opportunity to sin declared, “How can I do such an evil thing in the sight of my God?” Ask God to give you the fear of the Lord (reverence) if you struggle to Him more than sin. Ask, and it will be given to you!
Third, this step helps establish the previously mentioned ambitions in the fight against sin. Without this step, it would be extremely difficult to bring the other steps into fruition. Confess your sin to trusted brothers/sisters in Christ! The Bible says that we overcome the devil by the blood of the lamb, and by the word of our testimony. You are not alone in your sin. Many other people have wrestled with what you have. Ask reliable friends to hold you accountable for your sin. Ask them to check on you and cheer you on as you radically step away from those harmful habits. Immerse yourself in a Godly environment, and break off friendships that do not bring life to your walk with Jesus. You can go farther in community than you could ever go alone. Being like-minded with others in pursuit of being holy will terrify the devil. The enemy wants you to be isolated so his evil tactics won’t be exposed.

I'm not sure how to overcome the sin of unforgiveness especially to people who keep on repeatedly hurting me, it's difficult trying to forgive a person that's been quite cruel to me in the past. I thought I had overcome it, but a trigger recently was this person announcing that they wouldn't attend our brothers wedding if my Dad so he decided to not go to keep the peace. Mum remarried after leaving an abusive relationship ( my siblings father) and there's a lot of jealousy towards me and my Dad. It's quite difficult feeling like an outsider in my own family.

No pray and ask god for guidance in yall relationship and try for true love instead of lust and try not to get into situations where you and your girlfriend are tempted as much god will never allow you to be tempted beyond what you can handle so just trust him and have that self control I believe in yall 🙏

Is your relationship with your girlfriend more important than Jesus?
I would suggest not to date & just be friends instead. God has shown me how calling another person your girlfriend is selfish because we are married to Jesus if we don’t have a spouse. If you will be able to sacrafice your desires during this time, it shows your parter that you will be able sacrifice for them when you are married. I hope you read this and think about it because God calls us to be like Jesus, you are forgiven for all your past mistakes.

If sin isn’t real then blessings aren’t real and if they both aren’t real then good & evil doesn’t exist, so if good & evil doesn’t exist then there are no morals and this life is pointless, so why live right??? WRONG, sin is very real and it leads to death. However, Jesus on the cross destroyed THE POWER of sin.
