  • A little help on how to get those sticky decals off. This picks up after I steamed the decal off the boat. I used a standard clothing steamer, cheaply picked up at Wal-Mart or on line. This should apply to any painted surface. Cars, trucks, boats, signs, walls, autos, etc.

I did not make a video for the steaming process. It was an inexpensive clothing steamer. Hold the steam on the decal, and the decal will bubble, and pull off easily. Be careful, you can get steam burns from the steamer if you are not careful.

Try spreading the 3M on the cloth then wipe. Not on the boat and try to wipe. Thanks for the post.

@Johnny D it always worked a treat for me but dont know about gel just try a corner with a hair dryer if you get the heat just right it might just come straight off with the glue
I find to little heat it rips to much it bakes it on now i would just pay a professional as i brought an ambulance and tried everything and the only thing that worked for that was the professional i paid to do the lot
