But its not like date wouldve figured that out at first. Date was trying to infight ippo not back up. Plus date isnt on ricardos level especially not during the ippo fight. Ricardo easily destroyed date in his prime, and only got serious in their 2nd fight. I think ippo wouldve had just a bit more power than date and won.

That’s becoming an increasingly popular theory. Maybe it has been for the longest time. But passing away is too much imo. Do you think Mori would do that?
I’m not sure? Morikawa has pretty much avoided too many crazy or shocking moments in the series outside of a few instances here and there, Ippo’s back to back losses and his retirement were huge curveballs for me. But at this point, I don’t know what else could bring Ippo back into the ring (especially when he feels so content as a trainer and a second). Like it would need to be life-altering for him to make that kind of change.
the imai thing just comes down to "is imai better than sendo" to which the answer is a resounding no, if sendo couldnt beat ippo on either occassion then imai wouldnt stand a chance
Few (very minor, just nitpicky details) problems I have with this: 1 - Takamura's wild style didn't down Hawk either. As Miguel stated, Takamura's combination of wildness and science is what makes him the ideal boxer. When he was fighting unconsciously, all of his punches were aimed at vital points, just as Kamogawa trained him to. And the win came from him surpassing, not sidestepping, Kamogawa's teaching. 2 - (This one's more my own opinion) Ippo did not use Sakki in the Sendo fight. The way that fight was worded, it feels more appropriate to say he used Courage. Sendo had fell for a similar feint from Ippo right before the final Dempsey Roll combo, that one was stated to come from Ippo's greatest weapon, his courage. It's also more fitting to Ippo's character who has demonstrated bloodlust probably only 2 times in the entire manga. Other than that, spot on.
1st.- Ippo's damage was visible since the figth with Kojima, but there's no way Imai wins. Ippo had already win angaist infighters far stronger than him so Ippo wins. 2nd.- well is like you said, the thing here is that since Ippo developed the Dempsey Roll, he loss track, he start to use less his left, and the basics, and Kamogawa sholud know this, but he was focused in get Ippo better in other fields, that was the better for those figths, BUUUT, he should scold Ippo, and guide him to use the basics again with the Dempsey, even when Ippo Sealed after Sawamura's fight to develope a new one, so yes Ippo has fault to depend to much in the dempsey, but Kamogawa too because he didn't guide Ippo to use the Basics an strengthen them. 3.-I too think this, the way that norikawa draw takamura's eye is too consistent and the hint's are there, the thing is Takamura is a Monster, so he can compansate that. 4.- This I don't think so, he is not a monster, to be in the world scenario you have to be one, and Takamura state that, Ippo could be a ranked even withaout being one because he is really strong, he don't use his full strength in figths, but now, Ippo is a monster level, Kimura don't, Kimura had potential to be Japan Champion? YES, but he need motivation, and without motivation you only lose, that is why Kimura who's only motivation to box is, "I'll do it unltil Aoki get bored or retire" if he find a Real motivation he can be Japan Champion. 5.- No, if Myata go up some categories so yes he would be, but in de feather weigth no, and again in the same way than Kimura, he had little motivation he want avoid Ricardo and go for the WBC tittle, and is good, but Sendo is better, Volg is already a world champion, Mashiba is fighting right now, Ippo Is champ level, we saw this in both sparrings volg and Mashiba, so, No hi is not. 6.-I'm not sure, Dempsey roll is weak angaist outboxers and counter boxers, Date is a Mixed one, I don't know So I think that with the Dempsey maybe Ippo could win. But 2nd Ricardo fight Date, No, in that case Date wins. 7.- No, THe actual Ippo can fight with Ricardo, Maeby, But RIcardo is in other category even for monsters, I think that the only Boxer that can give right now a Challenge is Takamura, and the are completely different categories, so no, Ippo still have to grow a little more.
@@KingKoohii Nope, not a chance, I think the fight would be great, we gonna watch a fight that gonna be really good and maeby will make Ricardo fight even more harder than wally, but in the way Morikawa had wrote Ricardo, is like no way that Sendo can win, but I think this will be the final push for Ippo to come back to the ring, I doubt tha sendo will die or that kind of theory but maeby he will retire, that is a big chance
Volg is most definitely the greatest boxer of that group’s generation, he fought Ippo and Sendo as an infighter when he’s a natural out boxer and still almost won those fights (Sendo feels he lost to Volg). Kamogawa said he would have beaten Date, and Volg was the first to become world champ, it’s hands down Volg
a perfect opponent for ippo's comeback, personally, would be that top 10 mexican guy who was ricardo's sparring partner. I don't remember his name but he gave sendo a very hard time until the 9th or 10th round where sendo caught him with a smash
I like number 3 for sure. What you said makes alot of sense about takamura thinking that way in him being able to do with his injuries, why not ippo🤷♂️
Yes, I think he’s aware of everything around him. And it’s highly possible that his eye will be fully blind by the time his last fight arrives. It will be at the Tokyo Dome, where the final dream of the Coach will be fulfilled.
So about the Ippo's depsey roll, if it was regular depsey yes it wont work, but if its a kamogawa weakpoint depsey roll and body shots it will be 70/30 win rate for ippo
My favorite sport anime.. why did it stop? crazy smooth, entertaining, motivational, deep, athletic, human(as human as it can be),beautiful and emotional.. the relationship between Kamogawa and his boxers, specially with Taka and Ippo is gold.
In ippos first couple fights i was thinking he was getting hit alot. And then all his fights were like that. I was wondering if they were doing more damage than everybody thought. But dang if he comes back and is able to parry and dodge better. Ippo will be crazy. I really hope he comes back. I like Itagaki. I wish he got more shine. Volg is badass too.
Takamura will lose in the heavyweight division, he will pass the baton to Ippo, who will come out of retirement and take Ricardo's belt, so the academy will have 6 belts, 5 from Takamura and 1 from Ippo. The manga will end with the fight between Ippo vs Miyata, but we won't know who won, similar to what we saw in Rocky vs Apollo. Sorry for bad english.
I’ve heard this theory many times before. As a Takamura diehard, I won’t ever accept that he could lose. But respect to you for standing behind it. Would it make sense for Ippo to carry the baton for a Heavyweight? The same weight class would be better no? Either way, it’ll be exciting to see who beats Ricardo man. Thanks for your comment bro.
I don't see this happening for a few reasons, but the main one is timing. We won't see Takamura challenge for the heavyweight belt for at least 700-1000 chapters, at the current pace. He only has conquered 3/6 weightclasses over the course of around 1000 chapters. It is a very long way away. I doubt Morikawa will keep Ippo retired for another decade or two. Plus in universe it would be a few years, Ippo will be older, Ricardo will be old and his rivalry with Miyata would be completely dead. Ippo still has to climb the ranks again. Plus in manga its shown how much Ippo has evolved. He seems ready for the comeback, all thats missing is mentality, and the Sendo Ricardo fight is the perfect opportunity for a baton pass and motivation. Plus it makes more sense for someone in Ippos generation to be the one to get him back in the ring. Theres no way we won't see the conclusion to a final Ippo Miyata fight.
i feel like the whole takamura right eye remind me of Michael Bisping from ufc, The guy win 7 matches and became champion with one eye. no one really knew about his eye condition, he only reveal it after retiring. So maybe Takamura condition get inspired by it, and he will do the same thing.(Bisping were hated by the fans because his trash talk in ufc, but everyone like and respect him after the retirement after they knew his condition) it's will be funny if takamura do the same thing ngl
Bisping is one my favorite fighters ever. His trash talk was top notch. Especially against GSP and Rockhold loooool. Belfort should have been banned for life for that PED enhanced knee. Otherwise Bisping would still have his eye…
I think Ippo beats Ricardo because. Im going to go off topic here. Sendo and Ippo are true rivals and Parallel right?Ippo's father died in the sea whereas Sendo's died in the fire. Ippo beat sendo twice and lost to alfredo brutally despite having good moments he ultimately lost. However Sendo beat Alfredo in a very brutal fight which was a one sided beatdown till Sendo knocked him out. In a way Ippo was avenged. This could parallel Sendo and ippo being this generation nekota and kamogawa. HOWEVER , Sendo might lose to Ricardo. Putting Ippo on a path to beat the monsters at the other side , whether its finally having a match with miyata kun. Or Avenging Itagaki when he fought Imai. Ippo is going to be the one who defeats Ricardo. Which will prompt a 3rd fight with Sendo paralleling Kamogawa and nekotas trilogy with Kamogawa winning twice and nekota winning once. Just my theory though.
Well, that’s one of the best theories I’ve ever heard man. The water vs. fire comparison is also very symbolic. I actually stand behind my opinion that Sendo can beat Ricardo. I know it goes against the plot, but it would be a WIIIILD result. Ippo vs. Miyata is the fight we need to see as well. What if we don’t get a big fight with a crowd, but a low key sparring in the Kamogawa Boxing Gym basement ring? Just like it all started? Thanks for the insightful comment by the way.
@@KingKoohii Thank you for your interest in your fanbass I'm in love with the content you make. However I want Sendo to beat Ricardo too, but lore wise it wouldn't make any sense and wouldn't further the need for Ippo to return anytime soon. His first match will definitely be Imai , and then the Miyata fight will go on for sure. Thanks for your engagement.
Also unrelated but ippo is probably actually stronger than kamogawa people always talk about kamogawa breaking andersons ribs but ippo broken way more. Even if u consider that anderson was larger ippo broke volgs or atleast injured his ribs through his guard and also wallys too through his guard whatever that plot armour was. But as for running next to a train i dunno that
@@danieldude9218 I’m not agreeing or disagreeing but just saying when Kamogawa broke Andersons ribs he not only broke them but they pierced his internal organs
No why ? Because nekota doesn't have the destructive power and Ricardo might actually be fast enough to catch up so with a heavy heart no nekota doesn't beat Ricardo but kamogawa tho all he needs is one
While I don't disagree with Takamura's eye problem he is not the only character that has his eye covered often. Mashiba had it too. Also sometimes it's the left eye of Takamura's that's hidden, like during Mashiba-Rosario fight. Rosario also had his eye blacked out during the fight. I feel like it's just a way of showing intense moment. I feel like sometimes other characters get white eyes too
i dont think its kamogawa's fault that ippo's damage, but its more ippo's style that he ends up taking a lot of damage, sendou takes more punishment but is lucky enough to not show signs of damage yet. I think ippo right now is actually the strongest in his weight class right now if he recovers from his damage and regains his durability, because as it is, he doesnt last long enough to get a decent fight, and while he gets hit alot less, even a single good shot on him is slmost enough to turn it completely one sided, even with his new understanding of boxing
Kamogawa lost the the way after going international. Had no answers for the opposition. Couldn’t apply his knowledge to Ippo’s style. They need a proper collaboration once he’s back.
Thank you brother! I think there’s no one who beats Takamura. Not even glazing. We can’t compare him to other boxers. Only to his immediate opponents. We know he struggles during his fights. But when he wins it looks like he could never have lost in the first place.
@@mixer8033kamogawa wont have the chance to because all prime kamo has is pure destructive power other than that he has no techniques, footwork or even basic weaving. But if he did manage to hit a full powershot to the liver as he did to Anderson while they are in the heavier weight class i dont think even Takamura could take that since Kamo literally broke through ribs and flipped an Anderson sideways
Takamura’s eye is fine. I think Takamura is purposefully taking these big hits and faking an eye injury, to help him prepare for the heavyweight punches he’ll eventually need to be able to handle at the higher weight classes. This is insanely reckless, but Takamura knows he needs this experience, and if he can’t handle it now, he was never meant to fulfil his dream in the first place
But why take hits on the eye? Wouldn’t the chin be the better to get accustomed to the power? And taking hits wears you down over the years. Your chin never stays the same after a knockdown.
@@KingKoohiiThat’s true but I see it as him sort of giving it a look to really FEEL the damage, without risking a K.O. via an uppercut. Plus, like the commenter said, the theory could also be that Takamura takes the hits so to fool his future opponents that watch his tapes.
That's cap Not only does he not react to punches coming from spots that only his damaged eye could see, but he takes the punches in world title matches which takamura takes very seriously Why would he take that wide swing from bison and then dodge the flickers which are far faster and weaker? It makes no sense and since every single pro boxer in the series could avoid that wide swing The way I see it, Takamura is blind in his right eye only and that also is a good explanation for why he wants to rush his way to getting those 6 world title belts
I totally agree with volg rn being the best of the generation and not miyata. Miyata is mainly just good at counters and footwork. Volg can mix counters, combos, and powershots. Volg is also physically more well rounded, he has power and speed. While not as much speed as miyata or as much punch power as ippo volg has a bit of both. And volg's been consistently fighting better opposition on the world stage compared to miyata just sticking himself in the OPBF.
I don't think Kimura would necessarily be World-Class in Lightweight... I'd say right now, his lack of motivation and low self-confidence are what really hurt him. After all, Takamura and Miyata deal with harsh weight control too, and they're both some of the best boxers around. Kimura vs. Mashiba was a great showcase of what he can do with confidence in his abilities and a concrete goal to chase... Now if he had that plus moved up to Lightweight? He might just catch up to Mashiba haha
Correct me if im wrong but after Volg beats Ippo in the sparring, Kamogawa said he had the anti-anti dempsy strategy already but he thinks its too dangerous for Ippo so he didnt tell him(or is this anime only)
@@KingKoohii I think Ippo has already matured given that he's been sparring at his own pace against world champs instead of rushing in all the time. I think the last thing Ippo needs is a reason to get back in the ring
He needs to be faster in order to dodge Ricardo and his left jab, either be fast as fuck or pull a kamogawa and power through for one ko shot and ruin his career @@KingKoohii
I think it’s possibly his mentality that is the extra thing he needs. The manga has been hinting at this point along with the fact of Takamura literally stating that Ippo has a line to cross in order to really cement himself amongst the killers in boxing and I think because Ippo doesn’t really have that mentality outside of when he is pissed off, it could maybe be the mentality aspect as yes he works hard but he doesn’t have that ego you could say.
Takamura's right eye has a slight problem but it shouldn't ever stop him from fighting in heavyweight classes as there are real life boxers who fought with one eye. Ippo is definitely stronger than anyone from Makunouchi's generation, but he is unconfident and waiting for a reason to get back in the ring & cross that line where monsters survive, maybe Kamogowa will be the reason or sendo for him to get back in the ring and become the world champion.
I wouldn’t say terrible, but his approach is very strength and conditioning heavy. He helped a lot with Ippo’s body. But in terms of game planning he can’t analyze the situation mid fight. He has good approaches here and there. Pressing the opponent when there are holes for examples. Or not letting a scared opponent get away. Not losing momentum etc. Those are all important strategies in boxing. But you’re right that the simple guard doesn’t work on the world level. It’s crazy how he never mentioned parrying to Ippo. We need some feints as well.
Nekota confirmed that he didn’t just use the Dempsey Roll and the Gazelle Punch, but perfectly knitted the combination together with Sakki feints in between.
@@KingKoohii Maybe it depends on which translation you read then? The one I've seen has Takamura saying it wasn't Sakki, and then a few pages later, Kamogawa saying it was Ippo's greatest weapon, Courage. Later on in the fight after Ippo does his combination, Nekota does say he mixed in feints, but never that they were Sakki feints. Though I do again admit to reading fan translations, so I could very well be wrong. On a semi-related topic, I wholly believe Takamura's eye being damaged to the point where he'll lose the heavyweight championship fight and be forced to medically retire. Going to back to Ippo, he'll beat Ricardo and then I like to entertain the idea that Ippo would build himself up to the heavyweight class to win the belt. In doing so he would help his "brother" achieve his dreams just as Takamura helped Ippo achieve his. It is absurd to think it possible, since Ippo is much shorter and would have a hard time building himself up to qualify for the higher weight divisions, but it's a nice fantasy that has a wholesome end to Takamura's arc.
@@jack-azote2778 Tbh he shouldn't be. Defending one world title many times (I believe hes defended it 15-20x?) is worth much less than several belts in several weight classes. Takamura has 4 belts in 3 classes, being unified middleweight champ. Ricardo has one belt in one weight class. In an in universe p4p list Takamura should be ahead of Ricardo.
@KingKoohii easily? Date didn't easily beat ippo. Date was brought to exhaustion and was very damaged at the end of their fight. With the Dempsey roll ippo couldve done way more damage. With date trying to prove himself to the world it would've been ippos win
@@YeezzerMusic let’s be honest, Date won easily. There was no way Ippo could have beaten someone who had fought for the world title before. Or don’t you remember the neck twisting? And how he lured Ippo into the corner? The only thing Date said was “my body hurts, and I’m about to lose it.” Afterwards he hit him with the heartbreak shot. He was NEVER in real danger against Ippo. Let’s be real here!
@KingKoohii i am being honest, the first round ippo won. The neck turning he got past by feinting it and date couldnt get close enough to clinch because of the 10cm punch. Date was exhausted and ippo actually hit him with a real feint after he turned his head too much. But Date's stone face made ippo think his punches weren't working when they were. Takamura even says that dates face was one of pain, not anger during the fight. Ippo got scared and let Date in his head. If ippo held his ground and just kept punching he wouldve had Date. If he had the demspey roll he wouldve ended it when he hit Date with the feint, liver, gazelle punch combo in the fourth round.
@KingKoohii also, you're forgetting how close date was from going down before he hit the final heartbreak shot. Ippo hit that crucial body blow and was sending the punch that would send Date to the canvas. Ippo just wasn't conscious,he'd been beat too bad at that point, letting Date return with a heartbreak punch before ippo's punch hit.
We don’t have a comparison for Nekota’s speed since we see a bulk of the action against a way heavier opponent. But if you ask me who’s a better boxer in general, I’d say Nekota.
Nope, y'all really have to remember that hawk is faster then Kamogawa, but it is possible because hawk toys with his opponents, and one hit or two from Kamogawa can f up hawk. Y'all really have to remember that Kamogawa is a bull fighter, he charges head on and lived in a time where the japanese knew little bout boxing.
Kimura world ranker if lightweight? Mashiba fight proof? Come on! The mashiba fight is so mis-used because he was being toyed with! Only using his left against Kimura, imagine if Mashiba actually tried instead of using Kimura as an example on the world stage. Yes, Kimura could be a national champion easily if he went to light weight. But a world ranker? Hell, Miyata even said there wasn't any real punch of his to fear. Yes, the dragon fish blow is his weapon now but that alone isn't much. Look at the circular graph Aoki's disciples drew. He was a small rock, that fell through the filter of boxing. He has no edge, spark or uniqueness about him. At least Aoki has a weird rhythm and moves.
Read the Mashiba fight again. Mashiba was NOT only using his left. Kimura pushed him to the brink. He had Mashiba think “that bastard is strong!” And he threw a barrage of punches. Uppercuts, one two combos and straights. He was extremely close to winning. 3 centimeters away to be precise. Miyata said that Kimura had no special punch. And then they worked on it. The Dragonfish Blow is as special of a punch as the Gazelle Punch is. Both have their respective occasions where they’re useful.
@@KingKoohii he did not explained in the manga also I am thinking that sendo already caught the glimpse of makunouchi eyes so it was a narrow point of thinking that that there might be a punch so that's how it is but it's not blood lust at ( if he have blood lust then he should use in other fights too ) in spar with sendo in retirement arc we have seen it so
Ippo is gonna win the 6 belt for kamogawa after sendo dies to ricardo and takamura cannot fight anymore after the 5 belt. After dat ippo challenge miyata for a final fight dat will be the end 😗
The fact that all freakin characters in the series came to be world champion is a Big nono. 1 japanese world champion=ok 2 japanese world champion=very weird but ok 3 japanese world champions?=yeah sure Buddy
Why not? Ryota Murata, Naoya Inoue, and Kenshiro Teraji were all world champions at the same time. Inoue alone held world titles in four weight classes. Boxing isn’t as tiny as you think. There are countless sanctioning bodies and promotions. Enough space for everyone.
I think Eagle wouldn’t care about winning by downing Hawk three times lol. Takamura would never. But Eagle is a heavier version of Ippo. Very straightforward and innocent. I think Eagle would take it with the jab in less than 5 rounds.

He’s truly the one with the biggest skill set currently. The amateur boxing days help a lot with this.
a perfect opponent for ippo's comeback, personally, would be that top 10 mexican guy who was ricardo's sparring partner. I don't remember his name but he gave sendo a very hard time until the 9th or 10th round where sendo caught him with a smash
The only way Ippo could land a Dempsey roll against Date would be the combo he used to beat Sendo, even then I’m unsure but I think it’s possible
Same bro!

Beautifully written bro. I’d recommend reading the manga. The quality only keeps improving. Crazy fights and wild comedy. It’s worth every chapter.
Exactly! That’s the goal brother. He’d be on a whole different level.
incridible video
Appreciate you brother!!!
1:23 Ippo has a higher ko percentage than Sendo because Sendo won against Volg by decision
That was a close call too. Volg should have won that fight and Sendo knew it. Good you’ve brought that up.

W comment. Thanks brother!
i feel like the whole takamura right eye remind me of Michael Bisping from ufc, The guy win 7 matches and became champion with one eye. no one really knew about his eye condition, he only reveal it after retiring.

Could prime Nekota beat Ricardo Martinez?

Hell no obvious answer lmaooooo
Wayy noo wayy noo
Also unrelated but ippo is probably actually stronger than kamogawa people always talk about kamogawa breaking andersons ribs but ippo broken way more. Even if u consider that anderson was larger ippo broke volgs or atleast injured his ribs through his guard and also wallys too through his guard whatever that plot armour was. But as for running next to a train i dunno that
@@danieldude9218 I’m not agreeing or disagreeing but just saying when Kamogawa broke Andersons ribs he not only broke them but they pierced his internal organs
No why ? Because nekota doesn't have the destructive power and Ricardo might actually be fast enough to catch up so with a heavy heart no nekota doesn't beat Ricardo but kamogawa tho all he needs is one
imagine takamura smashes everyone until heavyweight and then he loses against the heavyweight champion because his eye can't take anymore damage😟
@@samir_5481 stop bro 😭
Everyone has or should have realised number 2 is correct, it's intentional tho imo. The lesson is that friends improve people not just a coach
Well said, brother.
I feel like sometimes other characters get white eyes too
i hear people say kamogawa is a good trainer but bad coach and i couldn't agree more
🤝 I think Ippo will be able to lead himself more once he’s back
i dont think its kamogawa's fault that ippo's damage, but its more ippo's style that he ends up taking a lot of damage, sendou takes more punishment but is lucky enough to not show signs of damage yet.
How would win prime Kamogawa vs Takamura if they were bouth the same weight? Great video by the way, mako more like these
Thank you brother! I think there’s no one who beats Takamura. Not even glazing. We can’t compare him to other boxers. Only to his immediate opponents. We know he struggles during his fights. But when he wins it looks like he could never have lost in the first place.
@@KingKoohii yes but Takamura has a bad right eye and if Kamogawa
Counter him to the liver could Takamura take it?
@@mixer8033kamogawa wont have the chance to because all prime kamo has is pure destructive power other than that he has no techniques, footwork or even basic weaving. But if he did manage to hit a full powershot to the liver as he did to Anderson while they are in the heavier weight class i dont think even Takamura could take that since Kamo literally broke through ribs and flipped an Anderson sideways
@@epicnightmare5600 there is another thing Kamogawa has and that's grit. Whos grit and willpower is stronger Takamuras or Kamogawas?
@@TechnicSky I see. That’s interesting.
That's cap
Not only does he not react to punches coming from spots that only his damaged eye could see, but he takes the punches in world title matches which takamura takes very seriously
Why would he take that wide swing from bison and then dodge the flickers which are far faster and weaker?
It makes no sense and since every single pro boxer in the series could avoid that wide swing
The way I see it, Takamura is blind in his right eye only and that also is a good explanation for why he wants to rush his way to getting those 6 world title belts
W VIDEO ONCE AGAIN
Thank you brother. I appreciate you being here :)
Shinoda is the reason why aoki and kimura didn't get the jbc title
That’s so funny to read. I love their relationship lmao
Well said. Couldn’t agree more 🤝
Awesome vid man
I think u should do a collaboration video with Reading Cr0w he also does vids on Ippo💪🔥
He’s an OG🤝
I don't think Kimura would necessarily be World-Class in Lightweight... I'd say right now, his lack of motivation and low self-confidence are what really hurt him. After all, Takamura and Miyata deal with harsh weight control too, and they're both some of the best boxers around. Kimura vs. Mashiba was a great showcase of what he can do with confidence in his abilities and a concrete goal to chase... Now if he had that plus moved up to Lightweight? He might just catch up to Mashiba haha
I hope he gets a good and solid comeback
Takamura's detached retina was confirmed in the manga like a year or 2 ago

What would be the remaining skill?
@@KingKoohii I think he needs to drop the good guy face and personality when he is in the ring
I'm no Ippo expert, but I always felt that Kimura and Aoki were dumbed down to the extreme especially K.
U changed the thumbnail?😭
Kamogawa is a terrible coach that never bothered teaching ippo any defense beyond a guard
Maybe I'm misremembering, but didn't Takamura and Komogawa say what Ippo used against Sendo wasn't Sakki, but Courage?

Hey i have a question that if takamura was featherweight who would win ricardo vs takamura
Takamura hands down.
@@KingKoohiihmm I mean Ricardo is the best pound for pound
@@jack-azote2778 Tbh he shouldn't be. Defending one world title many times (I believe hes defended it 15-20x?) is worth much less than several belts in several weight classes. Takamura has 4 belts in 3 classes, being unified middleweight champ. Ricardo has one belt in one weight class. In an in universe p4p list Takamura should be ahead of Ricardo.
Hey wait a minute now,you forget that date wasnt trying to outbox during his fight with ippo because he wanted to beat ippo at his own fighting style.
That wasn’t the point anyway. The point was that Date would have easily beaten Ippo even with the first Dempsey Roll in his arsenal.
Who is faster Itagaki or Nekota (prime)?
We don’t have a comparison for Nekota’s speed since we see a bulk of the action against a way heavier opponent. But if you ask me who’s a better boxer in general, I’d say Nekota.

Sendo is going to die in his world title fight
Why do you sound like gsp
That’s a compliment brother. The middleweight goat. Are you impressed with my performance?
He had Mashiba think “that bastard is strong!”
And he threw a barrage of punches.
Idk
